Appendix 3 – Synthetic Cannabinoid Receptor Agonist (SCRA) Sample totals were: On-reception 3298, Pre-release 2264, Negative MDT 3212, VDT 1469. The bar chart below shows the percentage positive rates of urine samples containing one or more SCRAs across the different sample types. For example, of the 3298 On-reception samples tested, 9.2% contained one or more SCRA.
When the on-reception samples are broken down into ‘First Reception’ and ‘Transfer’, the number of samples containing SCRAs in the 450 Transfer samples was 66. This was a 14.7% positive rate compared with a 8.3% positive rate for ‘First Reception’.
