The Synergy Experience
As a family owned business, Synergy have been providing our customers with a great range of products over the last 15 years. We’ve worked with hundreds of
customers and we can honestly say that all of them have enjoyed buying from us. We compete on quality and service, and that’s why we only use the very best
materials, the best installers and the best aftercare. All in all, it’s a great company providing a great service.
Our company is built around our windows, doors and conservatories business and our renewable energy business. So why not read on about how Synergy can
help you make your home look great and save on energy costs.
Synergy Windows, Doors and Conservatories
So what makes Synergy Windows so special? Well:
We’re a family firm who care about our customers
We are well established with a great local reputation
We don’t employ high-pressure salesmen
We don’t pay out huge commissions or enormous advertising costs, so we can
compete well on price as well as quality.
We offer an extensive range of products All our work has a 10 year guarantee
With so many companies competing for business, and with so much technical jargon
flying around, it can be hard to decide which products, and what offer suits your needs
best. Do you go for a large national firm or a local one? Do you take the cheapest quote
offered? Are there any hidden extras you need to look out for? And what sort of people
will you be dealing with?
With over 15 years experience in the windows, doors and conservatory business, we
know a thing or two about what constitutes a great product. We offer a full range of
uPVC windows, doors and conservatries including sash windows and a number of glazing
options. Synergy’s uPVC doors, windows and conservatories are all manufactured in-
house to a high specification, and the materials and components used are British made
wherever possible. We also offer a choice of white, coloured and woodgrain finishes, and
the company is one of the few in the North-East using Synseal door and conservatory
products, which provide a true brilliant-white moulding with a lifetime warranty and a
ten-year colour guarantee.
Synergy Windows Products Range
We all want our homes to look beautiful, and the best way to achieve this is to have
quality products installed, by skilled tradesmen. We offer an extensive range of uPVC
products, including
Windows
Doors
Conservatries
Facias
Soffits
Guttering
Garage doors
Synergy Windows offers a full range of sliding sash windows, and can provide suitable
replacements for most ages and styles of house. We also offer leaded, bevelled and
coloured glazing options, and there’s a service for the replacement of period coloured
glazing, using a specialist expert contractor to produce hand-crafted replacements
matched as closely as possible to the original colours. In addition, we also have an
extensive range of composite woodgrain doors, which have become very popular in recent years for their security, attractive appearance and wide selection of colours.
Key to the product is the profile we use. The Synseal profile is highly recommended, and
we have used it in many of our projects. It’s an excellent product, extremely resistant to
weathering and fading. It is produced as a fully colour-matched suite including doors,
window panels and conservatory roofs. Not all whites are the same, and it’s easy to end
up with an irritating colour mismatch when installers use one type of moulding for the
doors and windows, and then use a different product for the facia and soffits. The
Synseal system ensures that everything matches exactly.
We can also offer a range of aluminium windows, which can be suitable for both homes
and offices. Tough wearing and made to last, aluminium windows are now a world away
from the early double glazed units available many years ago. They are stylish and look
great on any building.
Energy Ratings
With energy prices so high, it’s important that you install a product that has a high
energy rating. A-Rated windows offer the best protection, and can improve your warmth
and comfort levels. Synergy Windows are certified to manufacture and install A-Rated
windows. These are build to a high specification, giving you a long trouble free life span,
as well as keeping your home well insulated.

Synergy Renewable Energy
Renewable energy has grown substantially over the last 10 years in the UK, and
continues to do so. Many households are now looking at how renewable technologies can
help reduce their carbon pollution and energy bills.
Synergy Renewable Energy have a wide range of renewable technologies which we can
offer to our customers. We have installed hundreds of systems throughout the country,
and employ specialist installers and engineers to carry out our surveys and installations.
Our renewable technologies include:
Solar PV
Solar Thermal
Ground Source Heat Pump
Air Source Heat Pump
Biomass
Insulation
We have outlined some information about the technologies we have on offer and the
benefits they provide. You can also visit our website on www.synergy-
renewables.co.uk for further details.
Solar PV
Solar panel electricity systems, also known as solar photovoltaics (PV), capture the sun’s
energy using photo-voltaic cells. Solar panels are a very common way of generating
electricity and can be found all around the world in both urban and rural settings.
Benefits of Solar PV
Generate income through the Feed-in Tariff
Cut your electricity bills
Sell surplus electricity back to the grid
Cut your carbon footprint
Minimal maintenance
Long manufacturer warranties
No planning permission required
Solar Thermal
Solar thermal systems use the sun’s warmth to heat some of your hot water. The
technology has been around for decades and can help with reducing hot water bills.
Benefits of a Solar Thermal System
Solar thermal can save on fuel bills by providing hot water for home use
Solar thermal should be eligible for renewable heat incentives
Solar thermal can cost a lot less to install than other micro generation
technologies
Minimal maintenance
No planning permission is generally required
Minimal maintenance
Ground Source Heat Pump
Ground source heat pumps use solar energy naturally stored in soil, bedrock and
groundwater as a heat source. They require electricity to operate (either though the
mains or through solar panels), but efficiently produce up to five times as much heat
energy, for every unit of electricity they use.
could lower your fuel bills
Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) income
will lower your home’s carbon emissions
can heat your home and provide and hot water
minimal maintenance
Deliver heat at lower temperatures over much longer periods.
No planning permission generally required
Air Source Heat Pump
An air source heat pump (ASHP) is a heating and cooling system that uses outside air as
its heat source and heat sink. An ASHP uses a refrigerant system (just like a fridge)
involving a compressor and a condenser to absorb heat at one place and release it at
another.
Benefits of Air Source Heat Pumps
could lower your fuel bills
Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) income
will lower your home’s carbon emissions
can heat your home and provide and hot water
minimal maintenance
Deliver heat at lower temperatures over much longer periods.
No planning permission generally required
Biomass
Biomass is environmentally friendly simply because it using energy from a renewable
sources. However there are huge resources waste products that exist in the UK which
could potentially become available for both home and commercial use. These include
virgin wood, energy crops, agricultural residues, food waste and industrial waste.
Benefits of Biomass
Cost effective over the long term
Uses waste products
Low carbon
Generally no planning permission is generally required
Insulation
Synergy Renewable Energy also offers a range of insulation services. This includes:
Loft insulation
Cavity wall insulation
Solid wall insulation
Draught proofing
Talk to us about how insulation can save you money on your bills and improve home
comfort levels.
