What is it

• An bookmarking service.• Lets you quickly bookmark sites that you like.• You can save them for later or share the entire

symbaloo board with someone else.

How it works

• Log into a free account.• There is both an educational and a paid version but

neither appear to be much different.• Find a website you want to bookmark.• Either create a bookmark tile through the symbaloo

website or using your symbaloo bookmarker in the toolbar.

• Click on a blank tile.• You are given 3 options– Create a tile– Search a tile– Browse tiles by category

Creating a Tile Through the Toolbar

• Download the bookmarking tool for your toolbar.• Go to the website you want to bookmark.• Click the link on the top left of your toolbar.• You will need to sign into your account the first time.

What it Looks Like.

Benefits for Education

• You can bookmark the websites websites used in class.

• You can provide students with additional resources.• You can provide students with the material from your

lessons.

What Doesn’t Work

• iPad App• The email received by parents• Not able to search for images
