HOUSEHOLD: house water-cycle, fromconsumption to collection of different

wastewater fractions for a cost-efficienttreatment; i.e. treated grey-water to be

reused for irrigation or domestic use

URBAN: distribution network (lossesreduction); sewage system (separationof rainwater from wastewater);wastewater treatment plant (efficiencyfor reuse).

SWMED is going to test ad-hoc solutions for the SWM in the project target areas whichaims at reducing water consumption and reusing wastewater (greywater and black) tocontrast the negative effects of climate change (reduced water availability, desertification).
