Tips for choosing a book There is a book out there for everyone! Here’s how to find one you’ll enjoy:
Think about what type of book you’re in the mood for. Scary? Funny? Serious? Judge a book by its cover! Do you like the cover?
Have you read and enjoyed other books that look similar? Do you know anyone else who’s read it? Did they like it? Give it a try! Open it up and look at the first page –
do you want to read on?
The books are split into age categories, but these are just a guide. You can read any book whenever you’re ready. Ask a librarian or adult for help if you can’t decide!
