A new Member States-led initiative in Europe which aims
to address “grand challenges” to EU society by
coordinating national research programmes within the
EU to increase the impact and effectiveness of research
efforts.

• Sweden and Italy proposed AMR as topic for Joint Programming in 2010
• Sweden (Mats Ulfendahl) was Chair of the Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance (JPIAMR) 2011-2016
• Sweden (SRC) is the EC coordinator of JPIAMR and the SRC is host of the JPIAMR Secretariat
• Sweden (SRC) is the coordinator of the ERA-NET Cofund JPI-EC-AMR 2015-2020
• Sweden (SRC) will coordinate the upcoming EC Coordination and Support Action JPIAMR EXEDRA.www.jpiamr.eu
