Penguins need each other to survive. Living in groups called colonies, penguins huddle together to protect themselves. Mother and father penguins take care of their baby chicks together, taking turns catching food and using their bodies to keep their chicks warm.

An ecosystem is a set of relationships among the living things and natural resources in an area. Penguins are just one part of the Antarctic ecosystem.
