BIRTH AND CHILDHOOD*Swami Vivekananda was born Narendranath Datta on 12 January 1863 during the Makar Sankranti festival in Calcutta at respectable middle class family.*Father Vishwanath Dutta was an attorney
EDUCATION*Vivekananda started his education at home Later he joined metropolitan institute of Ishwarchandra Vidyasagar in 1871 and he was only student passed the entrance exam of Presidency College of Calcutta.
