SUSTAINABLE WEALTH

MANAGEMENT

Because we hold corporations accountable for their actions and their effect on theenvironment, we also hold ourselves accountable to our community, our clients, the planet and to each other. In our daily activities we strive to exceed the expectations set forth in the social screening process. We work consistently to make this true.

We are now located in the WaterShed Building, that sits within a few blocks of Eugene’s 5th Street district, connecting us to three large parks and miles of trails tracing the Willamette River, which minimizes the use of vehicular travel for us and our clients.which minimizes the use of vehicular travel for us and our clients.

The Green Guide, the premiere news and information source for green living, recognizes cities across the country that are providing the most energy-efficient, least polluting and healthy spaces in which to live, released on April 10, 2006 that Eugene, OR, ranks #1.

OurInvestment Approach

Fixed Income Securities Fixed income securities are fully invested at all Fixed income securities are fully invested at all

times. We employ a "buy-and-hold" strategy

with swapping to add value based on our

interest rate outlook, the current yield curves,

clients tax situation and/or the availability of a

relatively favorable bond. Bond portfolios will

typically have a 7-10 year weighted average

maturitmaturity.

We invest only in investment grade securities

(rated BBB and above by Standard & Poor's).

Our average rating is near AA+. We invest

mainly in U.S. Government Agency securities,

taxable municipals and tax-free municipal

bonds. A client's tax situation is the determin-

ing factor as to which types of securities are

used.used.

For clients interested in placing part of their

fixed income allocation in community invest-

ments, we facilitate the investment in bank

certificates of deposit and/or community loan

fund promissory notes.

Equities Equity management begins with appropriate sector Equity management begins with appropriate sector

allocation. As a benchmark, we utilize the ten industry

sectors as defined by Standard & Poor's (S&P).

Based on our assessment of each sector's long-term

risk and return potential, we either over or under-

weight each sector accordingly. Within each industry

sector, we select companies to invest in that meet our

criteria of environmental, social, sustainable and

financial leaders. We invest primarily in large and

mid-cap companies but may occasionally invest in

small-cap equities only if they meet our standards of

safety and liquidity.

Investment risk is also managed through diversifica-

tion across sectors and within sectors. A typical

portfolio will hold 30-40 stocks. We generally limit any

single equity position to no greater than 5% of the

total portfolio value. We do not engage in risky prac-

tices such as the short selling of stocks, nor do we

invest in derivative securities or futures contracts

When analyzing stocks financially, we examine funda-

mental measures such as price-to-earnings ratio,

debt-to-capital ratio and cash flow return on invest-

ment. Our style is best described as "Growth at a

Reasonable Price" (GARP). We believe that long-

term investing is a sound philosophy, socially, envi-

ronmentally, and financially. Portfolio turnover is

typically low, income tax efficient and stocks are

generally eliminated only when a company's business

model undergoes a significant change that deviates

from our original basis for investment. We closely

monitor the long and short-term tax effects of our

trading.

Equity benchmark: S&P 500 Index

Global Investing Global investment holdings are becoming increasingly Global investment holdings are becoming increasingly

important as a means of portfolio management and

diversification. We allocate a percentage of portfolio

funds to international equity positions as an additional

diversification strategy since not all great companies

are domiciled in the U.S. International equities are

generally no greater than 20% of the market value of

the equity portion of a client's portfolio, and is the equity portion of a client's portfolio, and is

achieved primarily by investing in socially and environ-

mentally screened global mutual funds. Our clients

are also commonly invested in individual positions of

foreign companies, including American Depository

Receipts (ADRs).
