Metal ceilings are one of the few interior nishes that are ally 100% recyclable, providing an opportunity to be completely recycled at the end of their useful life.

POLICY

Being highly durable, metal ceilings have a 30-year design life and can be re-used allowing greater exibility when spaces are re-designed. Metal ceilings are generally more durable and damage-resistant than plasterboard or mineral bre products. Metal ceilings can be easily cleaned minimizing the need for frequent re-placement and disposal. An icrobial silver ion inclusion is o ered for Health or hygiene app ns.

At Burgess we con nually monitor our carbon footprint: since implemen on we have reduced our carbon footprint by 47%, based on the Carbon Trust footprint calculator. Burgess is commi ed to co nue this policy to conform or exceed the targets set by the sh Government to reduce CO2 emissions.

At Burgess, we are commi ed to reduce our transport emissions throughout the whole company. All our design and manufacturing processes are undertaken from our 2 acre site in Hinckley, Leicestershire minimizing transp on in the supply chain. We employ a mainly local workforce, we source products from local suppliers wherever possible and our deliveries UK wide are undertaken within a strict regime of vehicle op mis on.
