Luke 13:3,5

Luke 14:26

• [26] If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

• Love = to put others before self (if we love God we will put His will before ours, if we love or fellow man, we put his wellbeing before ours) (Stan Crowley)

• Hate = means to give a lower priority to – “to love less”• Mt. 10:37 – “ He that loveth father

or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.”

Luke 15:7, 24
