All Together Now:suresmile and The Practice of Success
You know that introducing suresmile digital technology to your practice
changes the way you used to do things in many ways, perhaps more than
you anticipated. Fundamental to the successful integration of this—or, for
that matter, any new technology—is a committed, unified and highly
professional team. We’ve designed these two action-packed days to share
the keys to the success of the fully integrated suresmile practice.
Opening the day on Friday will be Chuck Abraham, CEO
of OraMetrix. He’ll share with you his experiences with
bringing a truly revolutionary technology to the ortho-
dontic profession.
Our very special guests, Drs. Lee and Katie Graber, will
then discuss how they implemented suresmile in their
practice. You’ll see full cases and outcomes, from diag-
nosis to debond. It won’t be just a series of before-and-
afters, but in-depth clinical reviews in the context of dig-
ital treatment. You’ll also learn how working together
with their team played a pivotal role as they imple-
mented the suresmile system.
Digital treatment is dynamic evidence in itself that the
orthodontic landscape is changing. More adult patients
are seeking treatment or re-treatments. Unlike teenag-
ers, orthodontists now see patients who have lost teeth,
have existing implants, require jaw surgery for the cor-
rection of malocclusion and restorative dentistry before,
during or after orthodontics.
Dr. Alex Yusupov, our featured local suresmile special-
ist, will discuss why suresmile is the only tool available
today that allows us to accurately and logically treat-
ment plan such cases. Dr. Yusupov will use his patient
cases to illustrate how he searches for ‘elegance’ in his
treatment planning and share the tools used to deliver
these treatments.
We’ll start Saturday with Cas (James Castrission) and
Jonesy (Justin Jones), two Aussie explorers (maniacs?)
who truly dared to go where no one had gone before.
You’ll love their amazing tales of survival as the first to
walk from the shore of Antarctica to the South Pole with-
out assistance or how they paddled 3,391km to be, once
again, the first, in this case to cross the Tasman Sea.
Tough act to follow? Not for the Drs. Graber, who’ll be
discussing the fine points of teamwork in their practice,
how they continue to achieve peak performance and
have built an exceptional team of dedicated staff mem-
bers. They’ll review the suresmile implementation pro-
cess and how they manage not only the technology, but
organizational changes that maximize efficiency. You’ll
see how they have fully integrated suresmile to maxi-
mize efficiency while delivering superior quality of result
to every patient treated.
After lunch, we’ll feature workshop breakout groups
where you can choose two topics of greatest interest to
you. From case set-up pearls to scanning insights, from
advanced simulations to aligner and IDB set-ups to
software tips and techniques - there’s truly something
for everyone.
Of course, we’ll also have time for informal socializing,
some great food and a fantastic overall experience. It
will be two days packed with learning, fun and camara-
derie...all together now!

Two very special events during our meetingWe look forward to our gathering of experts in creating beautiful smiles. We’ve included
two very special events during our meeting that we hope bring smiles all around!
A Welcome Feast to Remember… Served from a Truck!
Friday 9 June 2017
5:00pm to 8:30pm
After a first big day, please join us for the group Welcome
Dinner and drinks at the hotel. You’ll be in for a special
experience with food from the “Kerrigan Food Truck”!
Speaking for ourselves, we like mate-style feasts where
you get to pick and taste all the good stuff. The Kerrigan
is Pier One’s new ‘smokin’ hot’ food shack, which will dock
right in time for our meeting. The Kerrigan Food Truck
features a custom-made charcoal-burning grill with an
on-site smokery, You know it will be awesome!
You’ll be greeted with an array of mouth-watering barbeque
delights, including their stand-out, slow cooked lamb
and pork ribs, carved up smoked brisket served in soft tortillas,
and ‘Chook Wings’ – either Aussie-fried or marinated with
an Indo or Korean-style dressing. All of the super succulent
meats are sourced from the Black Forest Smokehouse and
smoked for up to 14 hours.
You won’t want to miss this unique dining experience.
How About a Hike to The South Pole? Kayaking Across the Tasman Sea?
Saturday 10 June 2017
8:00am to 9:30am
We’ll start Saturday with Cas & Jonesy (James Castrission
& Justin Jones), two Aussie Explorers (maniacs??) constantly
pushing the boundaries of human endurance and dared
to go where no one had gone before.
They made history by completing the longest unsupported
polar expedition of all time. After 89 grueling days, they walked
from the edge of Antarctica to the South Pole and back
without assistance, after having skied 2275km with everything
they needed to survive in the harshest environment on Earth.
Four years earlier they Crossed the Ditch – paddling 3318km
without assistance across the Tasman Sea. They became the
first kayakers to cross the Tasman Sea as well as becoming
the longest transoceanic double kayak expedition.
Showing stunning footage and imagery from their expeditions,
the boys’ story is an amazing lesson in how they were able
to fulfill their goals, and overwhelming obstacles by working
through adversity with teamwork and strong leadership.
