Greenfield holds training classes several times a year for our customers, sales force, and distributors. • Bright for use with a wide range of

drilling materials.

• Black oxide improves lubricity, resists corrosion,

and resists fl aking. It also helps prevent buildup

and welding of material on the tool's cutting

edge when machining iron and steel.

• Cobalt is harder than high speed steel and

provides better wear resistance. It is commonly

used on high tensile alloys.

• Straw Oxide gold fi nish provides a polished

fi nish and prevents chip building, galling and

welding on a workpiece. It is commonly used

on low carbon, stainless steel and ferrous metals.

• Short length offers the greatest rigidity of the

various drill bit lengths.

• 118° and 135° split-point angles are self-

centering, to reduce walking, good for hard

material, and to reduce pressure on cutting

edges.
