Alcom Electronics and Handheld have signed a distributor agreement to develop the Benelux market. The Swedish HandHeld company’s product portfolio consists of ultra-rugged PDA’s and tablets in both Windows and Android OS. These complete mobility solutions are used in industries such as logistics, geomatics, forestry, public transportation, utilities, construction, maintenance, mining, military and security.

“Ultra-rugged” means devices that has been specifically designed and proven in the field to withstand very tough conditions according to standards such as MIL-STD-810G, IP 65+ etc whereby all tests are done by third party laboratories and certificates can be proven. In addition to the devices, Alcom offers extensive support and services including 5 year warranty, repair and life cycle management programs. Alcom invested into training programs.
