Itinerary

DAY 01 Group report at the Bandaranaike International Airport. Arrive in Rome, The first settlements in the region can be traced back to the early Etruscan civilization in Northern Lazio. Rome grew to rule a vast empire and as the empire began to divide, the region became the center of the Christian world. Artists and architects flocked to work for the Popes notably in the Renaissance and Baroque periods, when some magnificent architectural works were created. Transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 03 Breakfast at the Hotel and afterwards visit Pisa. Pisa is a city in Tuscany, on the right bank of the Arno River on the Lingurian Sea. It is the Capital City in the Province of Pisa. Pisa became a Roman colony in the 2ndCentury B.C. During the political struggles that occurred in Italy during the Renaissance, Pisa supported the Holy Roman Emperors against the Papacy. Visit the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. The tower which is cylindrical in shape has eight arcaded floors and leans about 10 degrees (about 16 feet) from the vertical. Thereafter visit Florence. Florence is the capital city of the region of Tuscany, Italy. From 1865 to 1870 the city was also the capital of the Kingdom of Italy. Travel to Padua for Overnight stay at the Hotel.

DAY 02 After breakfast, full day tour of Rome and visit the Vatican - Vatican City is the world’s capital of Catholicism, and is the world’s smallest independent Sovereign State. Visit The Colosseum originally the Flavian Amphitheatre, is an elliptical amphitheatre in the center of the city of Rome. View the Roman Forum. The Roman Forum is a rectangular forum surrounded by the ruins of several important ancient government buildings at the center of the city of Rome. Visit the Trevi Fountain - it is the most famous and arguably the most beautiful fountain in all of Rome. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

DAY 04 After breakfast, visit the Shrine of St. Anthony in Padua. Padua is a picturesque city with arcaded streets that 1ead into open squares. It was one of the wealthiest cities of northern Italy in late Roman times. View the relics of St. Anthony. Among the many relics are the incorrupt Tongue, the Vocal Cords and Jaws of St. Anthony. Thereafter proceed to Venice and take a boat ride to St Mark’s Square. Visit St. Mark’s Cathedral and his tomb. Time at leisure at St. Mark’s Square. Depart to Verona. View the Balcony of Romeo and Juliet in Verona. Drive to Innsbruck. In Innsbruck, and take a walk to view the Golden Roof ect.. The Golden Roof is a landmark in Innsbruck built in 1500. It was built for the Roman Emperor Maximilian I and decorated with 2657 fire-gilded copper tiles. The reliefs on the balcony of this structure show symbols and other figures in his life. Overnight stay at the Hotel. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay

DAY 05 Breakfast at the Hotel. Departure to Wattens Visit the famous museum from Swarovski Kristallwelten. Thereafter transfer to Innsbruck. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

DAY 07 After breakfast visit the Old Town of Stuttgart. Visit of the famous Mercedes Benz Museum Departure to Dornbirn Check in at the Hotel . Overnight stay at the Hotel.

DAY 06 Breakfast at the Hotel Depart to Salzburg in Austria, with its world famous baroque architecture. It has one of the best preserved city centers in the German speaking world and was listed as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1997.It is the 4thlargest city in Austria. Mozart was born in Salzburg and on your walking tour you will visit his birthplace .Truly a fascinating city and the Mirabell Gardens add so much beauty to the great city. Salzburg is now known as the Sound of Music City and the movie has given so much inspiration and glamour to the natural beauty of Salzburg. Visit in the center of Salzburg including the birthplace of Mozart and the Mirabell Gardens. Departure to Stuttgart Overnight stay at the Hotel.

DAY 08 Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Departure to Vaduz – Liechtenstein Vaduz is the capital of Liechtenstein. The town, which is located along the Rhine River has a lively tourist industry, despite being one of the very few capital cities in the world without an airport or railway station. Vaduz is said to be mentioned in historic 12thcentury manuscripts as Farduzes. It is however commonly believed to have been founded circa 1322 by the Counts of Werdenberg. In 1322 a mention of the castle is made, which was sacked by the Swiss in 1499 during the Swabian War. Departure to Zurich On arrival a walking guided tour to Zurich. It is the largest city in Switzerland and the capital of the canton of Zurich. It is located in north-central Switzerland at the northwestern tip of Lake Zurich. Zurich is a hub for railways, roads, and air traffic. Both Zurich Airport and railway station are the largest and busiest in the country. Drive to Strasbourg and check in at the Hotel Overnight stay at the Hotel.

DAY 09 Breakfast at the hotel and depart to Luxembourg.

Visit in the centre of Luxembourg Departure to Koblenz Thereafter proceed to the Rhineland area in Germany and join the Rhine Cruise. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

DAY 10 Breakfast at the Hotel and depart to Amsterdam.

After breakfast pass Anaheim renowned for its Bridge too far and continue to Amsterdam. Amsterdam is the largest city and the capital of the Netherlands. The city is located in the province of North Holland (the Netherlands) in the west of the country.

Visit at the Heineken Experience – Beer Factory

A Cruise on the canals of Amsterdam
