Facts about Volcanoes• There are 1,500 active Volcanoes we know.• Volcanoes are grouped into four groups : cinder cones, composite Volcanoes ;shield Volcanoes and lava Volcanoes.• The Earth`s crust is made up of huge slabs called plates.• We currently know of 80 or more under the oceans.• Magma is a liquid rock inside of volcanoes.

Volcano safety tips

• Prepare a bag with supplies in it like drinks and food and toys.

• Do not stay inside a house near a Volcano.• Learn evacuation routes.• Purchase a NOAA weather radio.• Make a meeting place.
