Bernita - 01/30/10I live here currently and I am moving starting monday. This place is a completedump and needs to be torn down or they need new management! im hopethose of you still trapped here make it out the ghetto soon....lol

Bernita - 01/30/10oh and lets not forget the murder that occured almost 2 months ago. A younglady was killed in her own apartment by the maintenance man......

sunset lake apt is not what it seems to be. pls don't be fooled by the outside or the brochure. theapt are huge but the apt have not been updated in years. the cabinets are old, mice and roachesare in the units. management sucks, the doors are never locked, the laundry room is horrible. thewashers don't rinse the water from your clothes, the dryers never works. i just moved here and allthat it seem to be is not what it is. i can't wait until my lease is up. they can have my security, i justhave to go pls dont move here. i should hve known something was wrong when i can to fill out theapplication. there was a woman complainting about her bathroom wall splitting....stay far awayfrom here.

kharis - 03/19/10it's not just the kids it's mang. too they dont try to control all of that. we all needto leave this god foresaken place. i've been here for almost two years and icannot get anything fixed and they do not replace the carpet and if they do theyare charging u an hrm and a leg for upgrades that should've been done yearsago it's call "up keep."

Some of you guys are living in la-la land. i am still living here and I hate HATE HATE IT. This placeis beautiful but the people that live here are destroying. There are way too many families here withchildren and they let there kids run the streets and hallways of this place at all hours of the night.And they are slowly tearing up the place,,,the front door always stays open because the kids areliterally tearing the handles off the doors.

The hallways are always filled with dope smokers some are kids. The halls of my building smelllike weed and pee. On the outside this place looks nice but on the inside its the projects.I refuse tocontinue to pay 750 a month for a one bed room apartment and still deal with the "hoods" that livehere.

yes all of that is true about sunset lake apartments I move out in 2001 becuse they make u think itsso nice its like the projet with condo rent the apartment is nice and the rooms are big but you gotget pass the other bullshit to stay there I could not take it I pack up and head out good luckblueisland is nice and clean

Horrible place to live! Have been here nearly two years and were the economy not so bad Iwould've moved long ago. Maintenance is non-existent and groups of kids roam the halls waitingto harass anyone who looks at them crosseyed. Complaints to management go unanswered (theonly time you hear from them is if your rent is late. I once got a notice because I was short twodollars accidentally) If you are thinking of renting here run away as fast and as far as you can inthe other direction!!
