Welcome to the first live-studio-audience recording ofEmpowering Women's TV Talk Show Series.

Over the past three years Empowering Women's ExecutiveProducer and Creator, "Twinkle" Marie Manning, has workedwith industry professionals throughout the Nation tocultivate a platform that illuminates and addresses the issuesmost important in women's lives.

The medium of video has been prominent in her endeavors,and she has used it to document the stories and wisdom ofwomen from Massachusetts to Florida to California.

In 2012 she assembled a personal Guidance Councilconsisting of women from across America to solicit theirperspectives, opinions and advice about the direction inwhich to take her Empowering Women project. It soonbecame apparent that her original vision of a multi-mediavessel that connects women in-person and via a variety ofmedia formats including: television shows anddocumentaries; articles and publications; live events andcommunity forums; and an online website that will houseblogs, expert advice, connection to resources, interactionbetween members, and of course video content.

What has emerged is the embodiment of this vision.

Today's event marks a milestone. It is as much aGratitude Party as it is a Launch Party. "Twinkle" and herteam have worked tirelessly to weave together an event thathighlights the various aspects of the Empowering WomenMovement. In June 2013 the interviews and segments yousee today will begin to air Nationwide and the website willbecome fully functional. www.EmpoweringWomenTV.com

Beloved author of best selling novel: The Red Tent, Anita Diamant haspenned numerous guidebooks to Jewish life and lifecycle events. Herwriting career began in Boston in 1975. As a freelance journalist, shecontributed to local magazines and newspapers, including the BostonPhoenix, the Boston Globe, and Boston Magazine, branching out intoregional and national media, with articles in New England Monthly,Yankee, Self, Parenting, Parents, McCalls, and Ms.

Anita’s features and columns covered a wide variety of topics, fromprofiles of prominent people and stories about medical ethics, to first-person essays ranging from politics, to popular culture, to petownership. She also wrote about Jewish practice and the Jewishcommunity for Reform Judaism magazine, Hadassah magazine, andjewishfamily.com. Her new novel, Day After Night, returns to the land of The Red Tentto tell the stories of women who lived through the Holocaust and awaitthe future in a British internment camp. It is a story of loss, hope andcourage set in the days before the founding of the state of Israel.
