LIFE AND MINISTRY OF OUR COMMUNITY Church school Our church school members will be meeting in The Study (through the doors by the chapel and turn right) with Sheila Cram. Members return at Communion to rejoin their families. Monday Night Bible study Monday night Bible study will continue in The Study on Monday, October 28th at 7:00 PM. Market this Saturday Plan to attend St. Barnabas’ first annual Christmas Market here this Saturday, November 2nd from 10 AM to 3 PM. This year we’ve rented tables to some very interesting outside crafters, plus we’ll have our usual very popular Bake Table and jams & jellies, as well as collectibles, a refreshment booth and original art. It’s looking good; tell your friends. Fall back next Sunday This is just to remind everyone to turn their clocks back one hour before they go to bed next Saturday, November 2nd. So, that gives you an extra hour to sleep in, and arrive at church on November 3rd bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at the appointed hour. Bach Chamber Youth Choir On Sunday, November 3rd at 7 PM the youth choir that practises here on Sunday evenings is having a Coffee House , featuring smooth harmonies with folk, Broadway, jazz and classics. Remembrance/All Souls Sunday November 10th If you wish to have departed loved ones remembered in the prayers at the service on November 10th, please place their name(s) on the purple sheets at the back of the church. Book Club in November The Book Club meets next on Wednesday November 20th at, 10:30 AM in The Study. We will be reading Jean Vanier's Becoming Human, his 1998 Massey Lectures. An inspired and inspiring message. All welcome. Fundraising Concert The Bach Children’s Chorus will be having a concert here in the evening on Saturday, November 23rd, the proceeds from which will go to our organ restoration project. Doors open at 7:00 PM, with the concert running from 7:30 to 9:30 PM.
