POINT 1 Jesus Made like his brothers 4. Hebrews 2:5-8 (NIV) 5It is not to angels that he has subjected the world to come, about which we are speaking. 6But there is a place where someone has testified: What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? 7 You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honor 8 and put everything under his feet. 5. He came that: He could empathize with us. Be the perfect example of God the father to us Become the guilt offering to atone for sins 6. Hebrews 10:5-7 (NIV) 5Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; 6 with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased. 7 Then I said, Here I amit is written about me in the scroll I have come to do your will, O God. 7. Revelations 20:11-16 11I saw heaven standing open and there before mew as a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. 12His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron scepter. a He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. 15.
