CCDS’s “Heart for Jesus” project this year is to collect and ship sewing machines to women in Cameroon, Nicaragua, Liberia and Kyrgystan. It's that simple: sewing machines "mend" families and communities by providing a life-giving skill.

Communion: In the Lord’s Supper, Jesus offers the faithful His true body and blood to eat and drink. “These words, ‘Given and shed for you for the forgiveness of sins,’ show us that in the Sacrament forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation are given us through these words. These words, along with the bodily eating and drinking, are the main thing in the Sacrament.” Anyone who has questions is invited to speak to the pastor or elder before communing. The cups in the center of the tray are filled with a white non-alcoholic wine and gluten free wafers are available for those with allergies.
