Stewardship Reflection: The first reading today

provides a challenging guideline for the good

stewardship of our family relationships. How do

I measure up?

A Family Perspective by Bud Ozar: The Gospel

for January 1st tells us “Mary kept all these things,

pondering them in her heart.” We would do well to imitate Mary

in our New Year’s resolution. Instead of criticizing, let’s “keep it

in our hearts.” Criticism isn’t productive or well received anyway!

No Eucharistic Adoration until January 7 - Happy New Year!! No Confession Thursday

John Paul II School News Robin Cahoy, Principal — 996-2365

The teachers and staff at John Paul II School

wish everyone a Happy and Healthy 2016! We

are all enjoying time with our families and

friends during the holiday season. School will resume on

January 4th – Happy New Year!

The SCRIP Program that benefits our school, as well

as the parishes, has truly begun to be supported by so

many people! Purchasing gift merchandise cards for

families’ everyday expenses such as groceries, gas,

restaurants, and many local stores helps our school as well as

tuition for individual families. You may dedicate your purchases

for tuition of a specific family or to our school’s Adopt-A-Student

Plan. SCRIP will be sold after masses in both parishes every

weekend except holidays and over summer vacation. Please call

the school to find out more about this awesome program!
