VBS Still needs YOU!

Come Safari with us! There are lots of hands needed to make VBS the huge success it always is! We are still in need of 25 more volunteers to make it work! Please volunteer today to help! There are several orientations to sit in on this morning at 9:45 and 11:00 in the North Room! Put your faith into action and help us show these kids just how much God loves them!

New Check-In System Coming!

Watch for a wonderful new security check-in system for our kids! Our kids safety is our priority and we want to have systems in place to alert us of allergies, and other conditions that our kids may have. We will

have some parent training in the near future and you will have the option of using a key tag for self check in. We will need people who will help man the systems and welcome people to Chaparral, too! Please let us know if you would like to be part of our team!

VBS 9 a.m. to noon, July 11-15!!

Pool Parties Begin!The !rst pool party is Sunday, June 26th at the Perrine's home. Hey! That is tonight!!! (Directions will be handed out this morning during youth group.) High schoolers and middle schoolers should be there 4-5:30 p.m. for some super fun fellowship!

Mark Your Calendar Marriage Course is coming in

September & October...stay tuned!

Do you have a PC you might consider donating? Ideally, we would like touch screen computers to aid ease of use. However, until then, we are implementing a new check-in system for the children and youth that utilize any pc platform. The computers would need to be no older than 5 years old please and laptops are also more easily movable for our purposes if available. Contact Stacy Shirvinski or Babs Brown in the office if you would consider helping our ministries in this way.

• We would like to get to know you! Each pew has a Welcome Book in which you can let us know prayer requests, sign up for events and update your information. Please pass the Welcome Book down the row so we can hear from everyone!

• Communion/Lord’s Supper All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of Communion. If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you are invited to his table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take the emblems as they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some prefer to take it while it is in front of them before passing it along.

• Offering In our first two services, a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an act of worship and voluntary. During our third service there will not be a time specific for offering but rather boxes are placed at the entry to allow for giving as you are led.

• Nursery We have a friendly, well-staffed and impeccably clean nursery located on the north side of the narthex. Please see an usher for directions
