VBS Great Place for Students to Minister Every FBC teen needs to be part of ministry. The earlier they are trained the earlier they will take responsibility for their personal role in missions. VBS is a catalyst for training up our teens to serve in a variety of ministries. Parents, have a talk with your 7-12th graders and encourage them to make themselves available to serve in VBS. Give me a call because I have a place for them. All of our Romania VBS Mission team members will be working in our VBS. These kids are exactly the type of American Christians that the world needs to be exposed to. I am proud that they will represent our country, our church and our Lord on this mission. Please remember Sara Beth Babb, Zac Harrington, Colten Lindsey, Aaron Russell, Rayli Toms, Macey Westfall and Anna Whitehead. These are our students and we must be the first to support them. Please give to help them in raising their funds by designating to the Romanian mission trip.
Missionaries to Visit FBC In the coming weeks several of our department leaders and missionaries will be visiting us: Arkansas State Mission Director, Paul White, April 12
Memphis, TN Missionary, Trevor Dodson, April 19
Philippines Missionary, Don Newson, May 3
BMAA Mission Director, Dr. John David Smith, May 17
Disciple Guide Director, Dr. Scott Attebery, May 17
PNG Team The team is wrapping up its work at Jeremy and Mandy’s home with the Wantakian people. They will begin their long journey home on Thursday. They are scheduled to leave Brisbane, Australia, around 7 p.m. our time Saturday evening and arrive in Dallas around 3 p.m. on Sunday. Continue to pray for the team as they wrap up their work and travel home. Pray for Jeremy, Mandy, Paisley and Myli as they prepare to move into the mountains with their team to minister to the Wantakian people.
James Study We will conclude our preaching series through the book of James over these next two Sunday evenings. I have enjoyed preaching through this book with our pastors. I hope that you will be with us these next two Sunday evenings as we focus on enduring with integrity as well as confession and prayer.
Outreach Thanks to those who were in attendance Monday night as we made visits, phone calls, and wrote letters. Because of spring break, we will not meet again until April.
Children’s Ministry Director Pray for our search committee: Stephen Attebery,
Jeffrey Becker, Jason Clark, Ann Goodwin, Ashley
Talley and Roxie Waller. The committee will be
working with Pastors Summerhill and Wisely.
