The taster sessions will include sections of urban, contemporary and salsa dance. Understanding the ecology of Crane Park The educational walk and talk sessions are aimed to teach local people about the plants and animals in Crane Park. Provider: Friends of River Crane Environment in partnership with The Conservation Volunteers. The course will consist of 4 sessions providing the opportunity to learn how to plant marginal river plants and to be introduced to practical skills for conservation volunteering. Wild about nature The activities will include a series of wildlife and heritage themed events. Activities to include talks and walks on bats, wildflowers, frogs, dragon and damselfies, herbal medicine, trees, fish, a history of Crane Park Island and 2 printmaking sessions using found natural materials. Learning opportunities for adults with disabilities of learning difficulties Transitions

Transitions is a creative learning programme for adults with disabilities or learning difficulties. Participants will learn skills in painting, sculpture, animation, photography and stenciling and the course allows participants the opportunity to work towards working independently as artists, as well as exhibiting their artwork at Orleans House Gallery.

Transitions will also integrate different skills such as critique, reflection, leadership and recording results.

Participants will learn the importance of hygiene, presentation and customer service when working behind the coffee counter at the Vineyard Community Centre.
