CREST staff is assisted by high school and college interns (many of whom were CREST campers themselves!).

Our Teen Leadership, Apprenticeship, and Internship programs help students become career-ready. Students work to build resumes and gain job and school-related experience.

Westwind allows campers to leave civilization behind, and enter a world of sun, sand, and new experiences. Campers are welcomed as they cross the Salmon River on canoes (or ferries), met by camp staff singing them in to what we hope will be a highlight of their summer!

Once at Westwind campers immerse themselves in outdoor activities and camp traditions, and imagination comes alive! Campers spend a week participating in cabin activities and choosing some of their own daily activities while making friends, developing skills, growing in confidence and creating lasting memories in Westwind's wild and scenic setting.

This day camp for middle and high school girls includes basic math and measurement, construction basics (such as measuring wood, using a skill saw, and hammering nails), tools use and safety, visits to construction sites, teamwork, and project planning.

The camp’s activities culminate in a cooperative building project, such as the construction of a tool shed, which is then donated to a community garden.

Last year, YMP camps filled up quickly, so early registration is encouraged! Every YMP camp is open to both boys and girls in grades K-12. When registering for each camp, you will have the option of signing your student up for either an instrument specific focus or signing them up to play in a full rock band (for grades 3rd-12th). All students are invited to perform in their final camp recital on Friday.
