We’ve had a busy first half of the year here at Andaleeb Lilley Photography. Along with the normal schedule of portrait sessions, event photography and day-to-day studio operations, I exhibited twice in May with a stand at the Expat Expo in Zug as well as the Women’s Expo in Zurich - thank you to everyone who stopped by! I will be exhibiting once again at the Expat Expo in Zurich (Sun 1 September) - so do pop in and enter the prize draw I will be holding on the day. Its well worth a visit as there are so many businesses and clubs exhibiting from the Expat and Swiss community- more info here. Our Open House in May was a huge success too so thank you for all who came along to toast our new studio in Baar.

I have also been updating the website galleries and “shoot” page so there is more information on there too. There will be more changes to the website over the summer/early autumn as well as new products being added in time for the end of August when, dare I say it, its never too early to think about booking Christmas shoots for families wanting to give gifts as presents in December. Please do book early to avoid disappointment.

As you know, the studio I work in is a shared space and my colleague Ron Sumners is a commercial and stock photographer - should you need products photographed, we are able to do this too for you in the studio - just contact us to find out more on info@andaleeblilley.ch or sumners@databaar.ch

Aqua-fit during pregnancy / baby swimming classes

As most of you know I also share my studio space with Babys im Wasser who run aqua-aerobics classes for mums-to-be as well as baby swimming in Central Switzerland. Pregnancy aqua-aerobic courses can be started as of the 16th week of pregnancy and must be completed before birth. Non-swimmers are welcome as courses take place in 3-4 feet of water. Baby swimming classes (for babies aged 4 months and upwards) can take place with grandparents and godparents as well as mum and dad and are a lovely way to bond with your child in the water.

Ruth specialises in natural treatments helping you gain more energy, focus and confidence and you can find out more about her and her services here. I particularly enjoyed her daily affirmations/messages which you receive if you sign up for the”Rockstar” package as well as the relaxing facial massage. For anyone with back and neck pain I can highly recommend her shiatshu treatments too!

Corporate Sessions Our drop-in corporate sessions have proved to be very popular since we launched them this year. One outfit, one background, one retouched digital image – this is what the monthly corporate walk-in sessions are all about. These take about 10–-15 minutes and if you have time afterwards, you can enjoy a coffee whilst selecting your image after the shoot which will then be sent onto you (or you can of course do this later if you need to get to work!) This is ideal for you if you want one image (or a couple) and don’t want to make a fixed appointment. Our special rate for this session is CHF 50 (10% off for SwissLinked members). Introductory Photo Tuition Offer Do you have a new camera and aren’t really sure how to use it or just want to know how to take better photos? Then this is the ideal offer for you - we will look at settings on your camera, talk about the differences between ISO, shutter speed and aperture and then go outside to practice what you have learnt. These can also be tailor-made to suit your needs. Tuition will take place at the studio in Baar and then we will go outside to practise. These also make ideal gifts.
