GRAND PRIZES Registration for the Ultimate Summer Challenge means you are automatically entered to win the grand prizes in your age category! Families with children 0-5 can win a custom storybook with their child as the main character and a book bag. Teens (ages 12-17) can win one of ten Chromebooks and kids (ages 6-12) are entered to win one of two iPads, two Nintendo Switches, and a bicycle. One child from each location is also eligible to win tickets to an After-Hours party at the new Central Library for themselves, a friend or sibling, and an adult.

ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE? Kids and families (ages 0-12) can pick up, or print off, their Challenge Map. Record your reading, listening, and Library time, working your way to a collectible DIY prize. Time spent at the Library counts towards your goal, so be sure to check out everything in this Summer Kids Guide, which lists all our free summer events, activities, and programs. Last year, Calgary kids read 135,576 hours! How many hours will you read this summer?
