If you have surface water/raw water reservoirs, start your de-strat equipment

up now. This will help you to avoid roll-overs caused by rain (and help you avoid fish kills, algae blooms and poor

water quality).

Order extra chemicals to plan ahead for extra

consumption/service interruption.

Be ready for fish kills and prepare to harvest them so

they don't disturb the general public. (Destratification will

help prevent this!)

Do more regular testing tosee (and allow you to deal

with!) with changes to water quality. Consider putting

together an algae management plan.

Check your sand filter for mud balls and cracks. Clean your sand

or repair backwash equipment where needed.

Dose powdered bentonite or kalon to help stablise upset

clarifiers.

Think about changing out the sand in your

sand filter.
