The Mission

The Process

The Final Remarks

Hosting a summer intern is easy! The TAG-Ed Summer Internship Program boasts a turnkey

process that provides a beneficial internship experience for both the student and the company.

Internships are 5 consecutive weeks, 20-30 hours per week

Take place from June to August.

We have placed more than 650 students in paid STEM internships

Our goal is to place 200 students in 2016!

Hosting an intern is easy and makes a huge impact. Your company gets a firsthand look at the next

generation of employees, you enable a student to gain much needed experience to pursue a career in a

STEM field, and ultimately help bridge the gap in Georgia's STEM workforce.

TAG-Ed works with you to define a valuable project for your company.

TAG-Ed sends 2-4 pre-screened candidates for you to interview via phone, Skype, or in-person.

Once you have selected your intern, TAG-Ed notifies the student and ensures

they complete their necessary paper work, connects them to their mentors, and provides a

student/mentor orientation on how to make the most of the internship experience.

TAG-Ed bills your company; $1,000 for the student stipend (standard 5

week internship) and $250 for the program administration. After

satisfactory completion, we send your intern his/her stipend!
