With national bike to work day upon us ,
you should consider cleaning up your
bike and hitt ing the road . A recent
study est imated that 70% of car r ides
are for distances under two miles , which
i s an easi ly bikeable distance . You may
want to soup up your r ide with baskets
i f you need to run a quick errand , but
biking in general i s easy on the knees
and costs you zero dollars . As the old
saying goes , cars run on money and
make you fat , but bikes run on fat and
save you money .
