CATSKILLS WEST Theatre Arts Day Camp Ages 5-10Lights, cameras, action! The show will go on as the magic is still alive at Catskills West. Located on the picturesque grounds of the Historic Greystone Mansion, your children will be engaged in activities that will motivate and stimulate their creative desires. The goal of Catskills West is to show children that everyone is a star, no matter how small the role. We also promote teamwork and socialization in a group setting. 5 and 6 year olds will be specially featured in the opening of the Catskills performance.

UPPER CATSKILLS WEST Theatre Arts Day Camp Ages 11-14Concentrating on the technical aspects of drama, singing and dancing, the Upper Catskills actors will have the opportunity to build confidence while learning how to work as a cohesive unit. Rotating skills stations, strategizing game play, and high energy fun will prepare you to excel in the upcoming soccer season. Coach Asaf is well known for provid-ing the excellent Monday Night Skills Clinic during the AYSO season. 2014 SUMMER INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC WORKSHOP 8th-12th Grade Taught by Bill BradburyorcHestra WorksHoP [8-12 grade] Continue your study of a string instrument, develop your skills, and just have fun playing in an orchestra this summer! This class is open to 8-12 graders who have had at least two years training on a string instrument (violin, viola, cello, & bass). Students will rehearse and perform music from a variety of orchestral repertoire – from classical to pop music.

Emphasis will be placed on improving individual musical abilities, as well as developing as a musician in an ensemble.

jazz BanD WorksHoP [8-12 grade] The jazz band offers a unique opportunity to learn, rehearse, and perform in a jazz ensemble. The ensemble will work on a variety of jazz genre including rock, swing, latin, and pop tunes. This class is open to students grades 8-12 who have had at least two years training on alto, tenor, or baritone saxophone, trumpet, & trombone. Students who play rhythm section instruments (piano, guitar, bass, and drum set) should have at least 3 years experience to participate. Some attention will be given to the basics of improvisation.

VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP PROGRAM For Students Entering 8th, 9th and 10th Grades in the Fall of 2014The VLP is an exciting opportunity for students to serve the community youth. The train-ing portion consists of two half days of instruction, followed by summer service assisting City staff in camp programs. Space is limited! BIZZY GIRLS ENTREPRENEURSHIP CAMP FOR GIRLS Ages 7-14Make your own line of fashion, accessories, home decor and more! Girls create a mini business plan, name their company, design a logo, business cards, learn about cost and profit and then sell their products. Girls run their own a pop up store at the end of the camp.Girls aged 13 and 14 may bring their own sewing machines. After completing the camp, students will be eligible to assist us in next year’s camp. Students will be required to bring several supplies with them, with a maximum cost of $20.
