Southport Partnership continues with annual Back to School Bash: Our annual Back-to-School Bash for Southport Elementary will take place on Sunday, Aug. 1 from 2 to 4 pm. Servants are needed! Adults, youth and older children (with a parent or guardian) are invited to serve. Southport teachers and the Eagle mascot will join with us to provide a fun and exciting atmosphere for Southport students and families as they get ready to return to school. Each student will receive a bag of school supplies and other items to start the school year. The Bash will also feature free hair cuts, food, snow cones, bounce houses and games. Want to help provide school supplies? A $20 donation will provide supplies for one student. A servant sign-up form and link to give are posted at mylhumc.net/BTSB.

Join us for Blessing of the Backpacks and Teacher Appreciation on Aug. 1: We invite all teachers and students (and families) to attend our 10 am service on Aug. 1 for a special back-to-school blessing. Students should bring their backpacks for prayer/blessing. All teachers will be given a small gift as a token of our thanks.
