VIP EventsQuality Hill: Broadway and All That Jazz: Songbook of the 60’s and 70’s - Celebrate the era of Broadway when traditional musicals (HELLO, DOLLY!, FUNNY GIRL) lived alongside innovative ones (COMPANY, GODSPELL), while the jazz world evolved to reflect an eclectic culture, with traditional vocal standards (“Alfie,” “Moon River”), iconic instrumentals (“Linus and Lucy,” “The Pink Panther Theme”), and vocal jazz that exploded with the formation of The Manhattan Transfer (“Java Jive,” “That Cat Is High”) in 1969.

Quality Hill: Broadway and All That Jazz: Songbook of the 80’s to the Present - “Over the top.” Nothing describes American musical theatre of the 1980s to the present better. Characterized by lavish spectacles and epic plots, musicals like THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, LES MISERABLES, MONTY PYTHON’S SPAMALOT, and WICKED continue to captivate us with their “bigger is better” approach. On the flip side, American popular artists such as Rod Stewart, Joni Mitchell, Michael Buble, and even Lady Gaga (in partnership with the incomparable Tony Bennett) returned to the humble roots of the Great American Songbook for contemporary - yet classic - hits.
