What is needed to meet a Circle of Quality? The Licensed Circle of Quality is the foundational circle of quality and recognizes compliance with the licensing standards of the IDCFS. The Bronze Circle of Quality recognizes staff qualifications and professional development. The Silver Circle of Quality recognizes completion of a rigorous self-assessment and implementation of continuous quality improvement process, as verified by an independent assessor. The Gold Circle of Quality recognizes programs which have demonstrated quality on all 15 standards as validated by an independent assessor.

There are also Awards of Excellence in specific areas that can be achieved once the Gold Circle of Quality is reached. Awards included: Preschool Instruction Infant-Toddler Care and Education Family and Community Engagement Inclusion of Children with Special Needs Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Practice

LATE ARRIVALS – A fifteen (15) minute “Grace Period” will be given at all training sessions. This grace period begins at the advertised start time. Participants will not be allowed in the training after the 15 minute grace period.

EARLY DEPARTURES – To receive a training certificate, participants must stay until the trainer is finished. Please be courteous of association meetings which may follow the session.

PARTICIPANTS MUST RESPECT THE LEARNING SPACE OF ALL. Participant behavior that is disruptive to other participants will not be tolerated. The individuals will be given the choice to stop the behavior or leave the training session.
