ADVANCED SOZO AND INNER HEALING We have seen glorious fruit from our 6 week Advanced Inner Healing training. The attendees included pastors, therapists, ministry leaders, clinicians, and lay prayer ministers. We had powerful testimonies each week from the attendees had who applied what they learned immediately in their ministries as well as received personal healing and breakthrough. We’ll be doing this training again in the Fall.

RAPHA GOD PRAYER CENTER Lenay and I are excited to introduce you to the team at the new Sozo prayer center near Leon Springs, “Rapha God Sozo Ministry.”

Just one year ago, after meeting with the Lucado family and Tammy Watts founder of Rapha God, Lenay and I had the pleasure of training a ministry team for the Rapha prayer center, devoted to bringing healing prayer to Oak Hills Church and surrounding areas. I recently

had the pleasure of teaming with Max Lucado to Sozo a friend and worship leader Mark Bryand. Afterward Mark had this to say; “I love how loving our God is! I have so many stories of the Lord’s faithfulness in my own personal life! This morning I had the honor to meet Max Lucado. Spent some time in Gods presence with him and my dear friend Sammy.”

“PPG” A Prayer Revolution on the Horizon This is quite possibly the most exciting new development that I have the privilege to announce. This summer Take This City will begin preliminary development of “Presence Prayer Groups” or PPG.

Presence Prayer Groups will begin locally but given both time and success it definitely carries potential to eventually become a global endeavor to provide a small group setting for those who have received Sozo or other presence based prayer ministry

in which they will continue their Sozo / renewal journey as a group.

With trauma all around us, we believe it’s crucial to equip ministers with the Trauma Prayer Model developed by Jim Banks. We recently held our first Trauma Prayer Training and with great success. We have witnessed the crippling effects of trauma as well as miraculous physical healing and breakthrough that comes when we minister using the Trauma Prayer model. We have clinicians who refer many of their patients. They are continually astounded by the improvement their patients experience in their health and over all well being after we have ministered sozo and the trauma prayer with them. This is a training we will definitely be repeating soon.

Sozo Evangelism Recently more “pre-believers” have been referred to us for sozo prayer. We are privileged to introduce them to Jesus. We are amazed every time they report to us (as we pray together) that Jesus has led them to the cross to exchange their guilt and shame for his redemption and righteousness. This is the purest form of sozo. We get to watch someone with no knowledge of God interact with the loving, powerful, person we know him to be, just listening is a privilege and an honor. We are overjoyed every time! Jesus came to save (sozo: save, heal, deliver) all of his children!

Prayer for Kids and Families

We have had more children and teens sent to us for sozo prayer recently. We love helping them deal with wounds and learn God’s heart towards them early in life instead of carrying baggage for decades. It’s been wonderful to see how ministering to the child inevitably touches their whole family. We recently prayed with a ten year old who offered Jesus his crippling fear, in return Jesus gave him the Holy Spirit. As it turns out until the moment Jesus offered he had never heard that someone could have the Holy Spirit! His mom, who was present, was blown away by

this. She knew he had no knowledge of these things. Praise God she got the same exchange the very next day during her own prayer session!

Expansion and Partnerships

We continue to train and mentor teams within churches throughout SA to minister freedom and healing through sozo prayer which connects our hearts with God’s heart. We are also seeing a growing interest in clinicians and physicians to partner with us and implement sozo in their practice. The bottom line is, Jesus loves to heal and when something works, people want more of it.

Meet Anistasia Joy! Anistasia, who we affectionately call “Ani,” was born on May 10th at 3:26pm, at 7 pounds 9 ounces. She’s perfectly healthy and we are in love! The delivery was miraculous. We experienced God’s best plan for childbirth and realized how fear steals from these blessings. Inspired by our new experience, after a short maternity leave, Lenay will begin pre-childbirth sozos for expectant mothers to help them deal with trauma and fear surrounding childbirth and prepare them to have a victorious and supernatural birth experience. Lenay finally tapped into this the third time around, and we want to pass the blessings on! 1 Tim 2:1 says “she shall be saved (sozo) in childbearing, if (she) abide(s) in faith ...." We have claimed this promise and we’re running with it! Sessions will also be available for those who need healing from traumatic childbirths. Anistasia means “resurrection” and “breaker of chains”. She is already inspiring freedom in the area of bringing new life! WOW!!
