Miniload automatic storage systems have been created to satisfy small parts storage and handling requirements.The stacker cranes used have high operating speed so as to ensure fast picking/placing times and high dynamic performance. They furthermore come complete with picking equipment, which vary according to the load units and the handling procedures.

The automatic storage systems for pallets and bins are served by stacker cranes, with single-post and two-post frame, depending on system load capacities and heights.The stacker cranes feature various picking equipment (telescopic forks, etc.), for picking/placing on single and double-depth racks.For greater heights, the automatic stacker cranes are equipped with operator cab to perform inventory or inspection operations in manual mode

Miniloadautomatic storage systems

Ferretto Group is able to provide solutions which enable exceptional exploitation of spaces and very high storage density: the dynamic flow-through gravity-fed, UPB and satellite storage systems. The satellite system uses shuttles to place and pick the load units independently. In this way, a high number of pallets can be stored in depth on each single level, thereby optimising all available storage space. The flow-through gravity-fed system features aisles for sliding the load units on rollers. The gravity-fed store allows the stored material to be placed and picked according to FIFO (first in – first out) logic.
