Gasification (Gas Cleaning System) Gasification employed high temperature in order to convert biomass into valuable gas, fuel and other products. Process: - Converting biomass into homogenous size by mechanical mean. Best result, woodchips (<2 inches size; 20-30% moisture content). - Biomass is then fed into gasifier with controlled environment (temperature, pressure). - In Bubbling Fluidized Bed (BFB), biomass reacts with catalyst to produce syngas (mainly CO and H 2 ) and leaving at 800˚C. Conditioning system: 1 st stage (Particle separation): - Using high efficiency cyclone - Remove particulates such as char and ash 2 nd stage (Cooling): - Syngas is cooled at optimum condition for energy use in co-generation system - Tar and methane removal by special catalyst by converting the compound into additional syngas Products: - Fuel by syngas fed into co-generation engine, producing energy supplied to the grid system - Useful heat
