This project is only 10km away from the coast. Phono Solar (SUMEC)
modules have passed salt mist corrosion test based on IEC 61701
standard from Intertek. The durable modules are assured to maintain
high performance of consistent and stable power generation in
coastal flat and tidal areas.

PID was the main challenge for Dongtai 50 MW power plant due
to high humidity and high temperature, To solve PID problem,
SUMEC chose world’s leading high quality model inverters,
assuring the solar modules could be grounded to negative poles.

Tidal-flat area is not easy to pile, the project engineers chose solid square
piles in order to resist seawater corrosion. Engineers slightly adjusted the
column’s angle to ensure all installed Phono Solar (SUMEC) modules
would have the same angle and height for the same solar radiation
without shadow.

Different plant conditions (roof structure, direction, contamination, power
usage) were given varied overall photovoltaic plans, which consist of standard
modularized small unit plans as “construction blocks”.。

The average depth of this lake is 2.5 meter, causing great difficulty in
construction, SUMEC engineers chose fixed pile to ensure the project

SUMEC engineers had been fully taken difficulties and characteristics of
the water power station maintenance into consideration in system design.
They set the sidewalk in main maintenance channel, using 0.6 meters
wide plate with the feature of anti-corrosion and anti-skid, total length of
5300 meters. Meanwhile they set the junction box on both sides of
sidewalk. The various cables of the power station are arranged below the
footpath, so as to "people go up and wires go down" without interfering
with each other.

the first photovoltaic power station in Zhejiang province that has not

The success of the Sishui 20MW project is thanks to its
specific design to the mountain region. Face with the
rolling barren mountain area’s characteristics, the major
challenge was to increase land utilization while maximizing
the performance of the solar plant. An array was designed
based on the Sishui contour and topographic map,
ensuring all Phono Solar (SUMEC) modules were south-
facing when installed.

Maximizing the performance of the solar plant was the
main challenge for the Sishui project. Besides shading
control and array control, SUMEC’s engineers divided the
project into 18 parts, and chose four different types of
inverters for the different mountain top graphical features.

This plant covers an area of 16,000 sqm. It can yearly
generate 1,745,000 kwh to meet the local 110 villages of
daily electricity and some auxiliary electricity demand. Its
annual reduction of CO2 emissions is up to 1,580 tons.

50℃ and the humidity can reach 90%. In order to
