Inevitably, your groomsmen will include a diverse mix of ages and builds meaning that what suits one person may not suit another. It takes more than just carrying a large range of sizes to ensure that everyone in the party looks and feels good. Stephen Bishop creates designs to suit all ages, shapes, and sizes. We also pay special att enti on to the fi t. Aft er all, you’ll be in your suit for several hours, and it is essenti al that you feel as comfortable at the end of the day as you did at the beginning.

Think about what you want (and what you don’t want) before the initi al consultati on. This will helpyou avoid being overwhelmed by the choices available.

One of our expert suiti ng team will interpret your ideas and guide your selecti on. Refreshments will be provided as you browse our extensive garment showroom.

Once you have decided on a look, your consultant will fi t the suits, advise on other garments andhelp you select accessories in our relaxed private ‘Try-on’ area.

Once happy with a style, it is best to book as early as you feel comfortable. Given that most of our goods are couture, replenishing stock or ordering items can take ti me. You shouldn’t rush perfecti on.

Aft er booking, we will invite your groomsmen for their fi tti ngs. There is no need for you to conti nually att end but if you are sti ll pondering over details, please join in and enjoy a glass of bubbly or two.

Closer to the wedding date it is usual for the parti es to have one fi nal fi t to confi rm all is perfect. This is the opportunity to up or downsize garments to ensure your comfort.

Stephen Bishop uses two outstanding services to help create simply stunning suiti ng, Lambtons Tailoring with their years of tailoring experti se and Bernhardt, the most reputable German suit maker. In additi on to this, in store, we carry thousands of fabrics by some of the world’s most renowned fabric mills, Holland and Sherry and Dormeuil.

We are committ ed to helping you create high quality individuality while off ering you access to the full breadth of cuts and styles, fi tting and constructi on that the tailoring trade has to off er. Our made to measure suits provide you, the groom, with the opportunity to spoil yourself. Let us create something almost as stunning as the bride’s dress, setti ng you apart, in a planned and styled way, from your groomsmen.

Your initi al appointment will begin with a consultati on with one of our suiti ng experts. Our role is to work with you to create an idea that can be brought forward into producti on.

Once your unique style has been established, you will be able to browse our endless array of fabrics. Aft er choosing a material and lining, we begin measuring.

This process takes place in our exclusive ‘try on’ area. Your consultant will confi rm your measurements and summarise your style requirements.

Your suit will then go into producti on with our master tailors. The process can take up to 6 weeks so it is advisable to leave plenty of ti me before your event to create the perfect suit.

At your next appointment your suit will be ready to try on. At this point, we will advise on any small adjustments that need to be made. If any alterati ons are required, this can take up to 2-3 weeks.

Aft er the fi nal alterati ons have been made, all that is left to do is to try the suit for a fi nal ti me to confi rm the fi t. When everything is fi tti ng perfectly, your brand new ‘Made to Measure’ suit is all yours.

PAGE BOY SUITS

Stephen Bishop Suiti ng believes that page boys are litt le men on the big day, so why not dress them to coordinate with the grown-ups. From full Top Hat & Tails to a standard suit, matching waistcoats or patt erned, cravats or ti es, we can cater for children aged from two to three years old and upwards. Rest assured your page boy will be dressed to feel and look as good as the other men in your party.

For the initi al consultati on, we allow an hour and a half, helping us understand your needs and to bring together the perfect look. Should you be just passing our door, do sti ll pop in, as we will try to do our best to accommodate you.
