How did Sue become Blind?

• Sue suffered from an illness of diabetes. A few years ago tiny blood vessels in her eye started to leak across her retina. She then had laser eye treatment to try and stop the vessels but then her vision became blurry. Two years ago she became partially sighted and from that she became blind.
