Enhanced Internal Hire Process : CrossBoarding
• What is it?
• The Internal Hire process has enhanced to retain the existing employee data in Employee Central that
are not passed from Recruiting Management using Recruit-to-Hire Data Mapping.
• All the fields that are passed from Recruiting Management using Recruit-to-Hire Data Mapping are
overwritten and rest of the fields are copied from the previous record to Employee Central.
• With this enhancement, for job information fields in Employee Data Model or compensation information
in Succession Data Model, marked as mandatory that aren’t passed from Recruiting Management either
because they aren’t mapped or they’re mapped with no value to send, then we show the existing data
from the employee's record in New Hire Data Review page.

Russia Data Residency Solution
• What is it?
• The Initiate Onboarding, New Hire Data Review, Personal Data Collection, and Manage Pending
Hire process steps in Onboarding will save the new hire's Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data
from Day 1 onwards in the Russian Data Center.

Set Locale for External New Hires
• What is it?
• The locale for the external new hire is updated automatically, when you initiate
the Onboarding process from Recruiting Management, External Applicant Tracking System (ATS), or by
using the Admin page Add New Hire to Onboarding.
• This feature allows the external new hires to see Onboarding user interfaces in the locale provided
in Recruiting Management, or the locale value set through External ATS, or the Admin page Add New
Hire to Onboarding . If no locale is set, the application picks the default locale value that is set in
Provisioning. You specify the default locale in the Default Language field of Company Settings.

Enhanced Offboarding Knowledge Transfer Task
• What is it?
• It is no longer required to provide the Process object permission for only accessing the Knowledge
Transfer (KT) tasks in the Offboarding dashboard. This allows the KT assignee to perform KT task only
for the intended Offboardee.
• You now require only the Knowledge Transfer Task permission to perform this task.
• This enhancement prevents the exposure of the Offboarding dashboard to the KT assignee.

Enhanced Onboarding Dashboard (New)
• What is it?
• You can now set permission group for the external user target population based on the granted users
department, division, and location in Role-Based Permissions.
• The feature gives the logged-in user the flexibility to view new hires in the Onboarding dashboard that
belongs only to their department, division, or location.
• Configuration Requirements
To use the feature, configure the following:
• Create a Permission Group.
• Create a role and grant the role to target with department, division, or location.
• Select target from the Target population of dropdown.

External User Visibility Tool
• What is it?
• Using the External User Visibility tool, you can now make certain objects visible to the new hires
without contacting SAP Cloud Support. After the basic Onboarding setup, you can use this tool to
display the objects to new hires during the Personal Data Collection step.

Enhanced Read Access Logging in Onboarding
• What is it?
• The read access log now includes the context and reason for sensitive personal data fields in SAP
SuccessFactors Onboarding.
• Read access log context and reason are captured for sensitive personal data fields that are read from:
UI
• API (accessing from API)
• File Name (documents downloaded and sent through email as an attachment)
• Reports
• This enhancement helps Data Protection Officers to understand the reason and legitimacy for accessing
sensitive personal data fields and take the required action.

• What is it?
• E-Verify - web-based system now allows any United States (U.S.)
employer to electronically verify the employment eligibility of all newly
hired employees.
• People Analytics helps to generate reports containing Form I-9 and E-
Verify related information for audit purposes
• If the Form I-9 enabled and the respective job configured, a
reverification process is automatically initiated when the employment
authorization of an employee is due for expiry within 240 days. A
reverification task is created and the stakeholders are notified. You can
also initiate the reverification process manually.
• The prepopulated fields in the compliance forms can now be mapped
with values from custom fields, instead of the default mappings to
standard fields.
• Employers can now use the United States Citizenship and Immigration
Services (USCIS) Form I-9 remote data collection workflow to remotely
collect employment eligibility information for new hires in the United
States.

Access to Onboarding and Offboarding Dashboards from the Global Navigation Menu in the latest home page
• What is it?
You can now use the Global Navigation Menu to access the Onboarding
(New) and Offboarding Dashboards in the latest home page.
• You can access the Onboarding (New) and Offboarding Dashboards if you have the required
permissions.
• Note
• For Onboarding customers, we recommend that you explore this latest home page in Preview or Test
instances only.
• Managers needed a way to access the Onboarding (New) and Offboarding Dashboards when the latest
home page is enabled.

Qualtrics Email Surveys for Offboarding
• What is it?
• You can use Intelligent Services events to send employee offboarding payload information to Qualtrics through the
Integration Center, so that you can send a Qualtrics survey via email to them when the offboarding process is initiated.
• This will enable customers to easily send surveys in an email when employees go through the offboarding process.
• Configuration Requirements
• Enabling this feature requires Onboarding, a Qualtrics license for Lifecycle projects, turning on a setting in Provisioning,
configuring a business rule, and enabling Intelligent Services.
• You can use your Qualtrics account to create surveys and view its results. All the settings to configure the contents and
schedule email surveys can be performed at Qualtrics.
• What's Changed
• In the current version, Manage Qualtrics Integrations in the Admin Center includes the Initiate Offboarding option in the Event
Name field's pulldown list for the Onboarding product area.
• In previous versions, this option was not available.

displaying search results where the multiple employment
types for global assignments and concurrent employments
are indicated.

Cookie Management in CSB
• What is it?
• Career Site Builder has improved the cookie banner and cookie consent manager settings, so that visitors
to the public career site can customize their cookie settings. This has been a request from customers
from long time, they needed a way to present a detailed list of cookies used on their career sites, as
well as give visitors the ability to accept or deny the use of specific cookies. Majority, coming from
organizations to meet government compliance requirements.

Edit Exiting Category Page Names
• What is it?
• Now SAP SuccessFactors team allows customer to edit the names of category pages even after they were
initially saved with a different name. Previously this was only possible through Command Center, not
through Career Site Builder.

Recruiting Posting on Multiple Locations
• What is it?
• Jobs can now be posted to multiple locations at once on the job boards that support multiple locations.
Location is a new category that saves the Location, Postcode, and the Country/Region information, and
a new mapping named Map to location Foundation Object appears to the job posting rule to fetch the
Foundation Object location information. When posting the jobs to multiple locations, you can set the
Field Completion Rules to auto-populate the location information with default values or the Location
Foundation Object defined in the job requisition template. Also, the Location Foundation Object
mapping in the job posting rule supports multiple locations.

Site Source Editor
• What is it?
• The Site Source Editor now allows users to specify what sources are available in the Recruiting Source
Tracker through Career Site Builder. This allows Administrators to control what source engines are used
for the Source Tracker, without having to contact Professional Services, an implementation partner, or
SAP Support. A new permission, Site Source Editor, has been added for Career Site Builder-specific roles.
