• Customizing Capability– Teachers can create a custom course that

– You can assign a custom course to a student in addition to assigning the full course.

Ideas for Classroom Use

• Whole Course Presentation – student progresses throughout the course having all strands presented as per default.

• Single Strand - Using the reference manual, match the objectives in MCS with what is being taught in class. Shut all other strands off.

• Creating an Alias – Students can have two logins. One login can take them through course eclectically, and another can focus on one strand at a time.

• Speed Games - Strands can be turned on or off, but if a strand is set as inactive, then no speed games exercises involving that operation are presented.

• Math Groups - using an alias login, sets of students can be grouped according to strand, or level.
