Brittany Daniel

Herbert Jefferson Jr.

Best known as portraying Lt. Boomer in the original Battlestar Galactica. He has appeared in many more films, television shows and theater performances, including two Pulitzer Prize winning plays.

Terry Kiser Best known for playing the dead title-character in the film Weekend at Bernie's. He's also appeared on several television shows, soap operas and films.

Robert Knepper

Best  known  for  his  role  as  Theodore  “T-Bag”  Bagwell  in the FOX hit show Prison Break. He has appeared on several other television shows including Heroes and Mob City. Film credits include Good Night and Good Luck, Transporter 3 and he will appear in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.

Kent McCord Best known for his role as Officer Jim Reed on the television series Adam-12. He was also on the sci-fi cult hit Farscape beginning in 1999.

Jane McNeill

Best known as Patricia on the AMC hit show The Walking Dead. She also appeared in the TNT television film Hornet's Nest and has appeared in local plays in North Carolina.

Milo Ventimiglia

The American born actor is best known for his role as Jess on Gilmore Girls and as Peter Petrelli on NBC's Heroes. He has also been in a number of films and he produces behind the camera.

Lindsay Wagner Starred as the iconic role of Jamie Sommers in The Bionic Woman. She can also be seen in numerous television movies and is a published author.

Joshua Buchanan: Comic book creator of his own comic The Rocket, he is also illustrating the Eisner nominated book Scratch9.

Alex Buechel: Concept artist and illustrator who has created hundreds of liscensed images for companies such as NBC's Heroes, New Line Cinema's Lord of the Rings and STARZ's Spartacus.

Richard Bugbee: Has many self published comic books including Aftermath Detroit, Cold Galaxy and Devil Christ.

Tommy Castillo: Has painted and penciled titles such as Batman Detective, Legends of the Dark Knight, Alice in Wonderland and more. He's also done designs and storyboards for films and has worked for companies like DC Comics and Paramount Pictures.

Amy Chu: Writer and publisher of Alpha Girl Comics. Her story, So Blue, is in DC/Comics Vertigo Quarterly: Cyan #1 in stores now.

Clayton Crain: A comic book artist known for his work on Ghost Rider: Road to Damnation, Sensational Spider-man and more. He is currently working with Valiant.

Seth Damoose: Created the art and designs for Xenoholics, Brat-Halla, Spook’d  and  more.  He’s  also  done   short   stories   for  Nightmare World, Digital Webbing Presents and more.

Dan's Dream: Dan Fraizer will share his comic sketch art collection at MCCC. A percentage of proceeds from the tours and books will benefit a comic book industry charitable organization.

Jay De Foy: A Michigan-based comic book artist whose work can be seen around Michigan and at Lilacs and Lace on Mackinac Island's Market Street.

J.M. DeMatteis: Starting out as a rock music journalist and musician, he transitioned into writing novels, film, television and comics. A well known work of his is DC  Comic’s   Justice League.

Jim Demick: A freelance artist in Downriver Michigan, he has worked with Gary Reed and Sarah Jezebel Deva on her first solo album.

Devon Devereaux: His client list includes Disney, Slave Labor Graphics and more. He is currently the artist for The Littlest Bitch published by Sellers Books. His work has been shown in galleries all over the world.

Evan Derian: A graphic artist from Detroit who also writes, illustrates and publishes independently.

Rik Deschain: An artist whose works are meant to provoke thought through the mediums of inks, paints, sculptures and woodwork.

Marshall Dillon: Served as managing editor for Devil's Due Publishing, BOOM! Studios, and more. He has also worked with telecom and video game companies.

Joe Dragunas: He draws with influences from medieval times and is currently working on his own title about four knights and their misadventures.

Drunk on Comics: Award winning West Michigan-based podcast, which includes comic book reviews, collecting tips and industry news.

Kimberly Dunaway: An artist, illustrator and costumer, she has worked heavily in the trading card industry with licenses including Star Wars, American Horror Story, Grimm and more. She creates costumes for conventions, as well as custom art.

Don Rosa: Became well-known internationally when he began drawing Uncle $crooge and Donald Duck in various comics in Europe. His most famous work is Eisner Award winning Life and Times of $crooge McDuck.

Andy Suriano: He’s  won  Emmy’s  and  Annie  Awards  for  his  work  in  animation shows such as Samurai Jack, Star Wars: Clone Wars and more. The Frazetta Girls: Holly and Sara make up this duo. Holly is the daughter of Frank Frazetta, a well-known heroic fantasy painter, and Sara is his granddaughter. Both women are actresses.

Novi, MI (January 29, 2014) – Living long and prospering for  25  years,  Motor  City  Comic  Con,  Michigan’s  No.  1  pop-culture event, celebrates its 25th anniversary transporting fans into the mystical world of captivating comics, fascinating fantasy and spectacular sci-fi. William Shatner, most known for his portrayal of Captain James T. Kirk in the science fiction television series Star Trek, has been recruited to join the all-star line-up. This will be his first appearance at Motor City Comic Con. The event takes place on Friday, May 16 (12:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.), Saturday, May 17 (10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) and Sunday, May 18 (10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) at the Suburban Collection Showplace located at 46100 Grand River Ave in Novi. Motor City Comic Con will also have a variety of pop-culture merchandise available for purchase from several comic book and multi-media dealers, partners and vendors, including comics, art, movie memorabilia, posters, apparel, etc. Additional special guests will be announced closer to the event. Travelling across galaxies and beaming across nations, fans from all over the region can participate in several weekend activities including the fascinating Costume Contest on Saturday afternoon, sponsored by the Specs Howard School of Media Arts. Local celebrity judges will determine who will win cash and gift packages. Sunday is also Kids Day featuring kid-friendly activities with the comic and media guests. Following the Star Trek series from 1966 to 1969, William Shatner starred in seven Star Trek films, establishing Captain James Tiberius Kirk, commander of the Federation starship USS Enterprise, as a cultural icon. Lee Majors: Lee  Majors’ starring role as Steve Austin on the overwhelmingly popular ABC television series, The Six Million Dollar Man, secured him as a lasting icon in American culture. In the series, Majors played a secret operative augmented with cybernetic parts by the government, fighting justice with superhuman strength and speed. Austin has also played lead roles in The Big Valley, Men from Shilo, Owen Marshall Counselor at Law, The Fall Guy, Raven and many more.

Andrew McCarthy: Making his professional debut at 19 years old in Class, he has appeared in dozens of films, including The Spiderwick Chronicles, The Joy Luck Club and Mulholland Falls, as well as popular favorites Pretty in Pink, St. Elmo's Fire, Less Then Zero, Weekend At Bernie's and Mannequin. Burt Young: Burt Young made his name playing rough-edged, working class Italian-American characters. His best-known, signature role is Sylvester Stallone's brother-in-law Paulie in Rocky (1976), for which he received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Young is a painter whose art has been displayed in galleries throughout the world. He is also a published author whose works include two filmed screenplays and a 400-page historically based novel called Endings.

Mark Waid: Mark Waid is a New York Times-bestselling author who has been in the comic industry for nearly thirty years as a writer, editor and publisher. Currently, he writes Daredevil and The Hulk for Marvel Comics as well as Green Hornet and Dr. Spektor for Dynamite. He is also the creator and co-publisher behind Thrillbent.com, an innovative digital comics platform. Waid also co-owns the store Alter Ego Comics in Muncie, Indiana.

Chris Claremont: Chris Claremont has been working with Marvel Comics on The Uncanny X-Men for 17 years. His work is lauded for its anti-prejudice themes and groundbreaking inclusion of minorities as heroes. With artist Frank Miller, he created the Wolverine graphic novel that serves as the foundation for the movie The Wolverine starring Hugh Jackman. His X-Men story arc “Days  of  Future  Past”  is  the  source  material  for  the  X-Men movie of the same title coming out in July 2014. Claremont has written other seminal characters such as Batman and Superman and is the author of nine novels.

José Luis García-López: Since   the  1970’s,  José  Luis  Garcia-Lopez has drawn Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman, as well as many more DC Comics characters. Garcia-López’s other works include Jonah Hex, Hercules Unbound, Atari Force and Batman Confidential. Currently, Garcia-Lopez is working on Madame 44 and Superman covers.

James O’Barr: Detroit born James  O’Barr  is  the  award-winning creator of The Crow, the best-selling independent graphic novel of all time. In  1993,  his  book  was  adapted  into  the  cult  film  of  the  same  title  starring  Brandon  Lee.  O’Barr  will  be  a  consultant  on  The Crow movie, which begins production this year. Today, he is the writer of two hit series from IDW Publishing, entitled Curare and Skinning The Wolves.

Gerry Conway: Gerry Conway sold his first comic to DC Comics at the age of fifteen. By the time he was eighteen, he was writing for Marvel Comics full time. By his twenties, he was writing Marvel Comics’ flagship title, Amazing Spider-Man. Known as "the man who killed Gwen Stacy," Conway is also the co-creator of many characters for Marvel and DC Comics, such as The Punisher. Beyond comics, Conway has written several science fiction novels, films and written and produced television shows such as Law and Order Criminal Intent. Along with the other writers of The Batman animated series, Conway won an Emmy for his work on the show's first season.
