Keyword Searches
Search in English and turn up materials that are in Spanish especially if you put the word “Spanish” in one of the search boxes.(example: cat AND Spanish).
Search in Spanish (example: gatos [for cat]).

The Library of Congress main Subject Heading that allows locating material in Spanish is “Spanish language materials” or “Spanish language”*
The main Sears Subject Heading that allows locating material in Spanish is “Spanish language”
* In Library of Congress, “Spanish language” normally refers to materials that facilitate the teaching of the Spanish language.

The Prefix normally appears on the spine label above the Dewey Number. Other Prefixes are PB for Paperback, Video for videotapes, etc…

Most OPAC’s or Library Automation Systems will allow a Call Number Search.
If you searched by your campus Prefix for Spanish material, you would receive a list of all materials designated as Spanish material by Prefix.
