Details Description
Service 1 one-hour counseling session (sponsored by Stuy) Access to additional services at family’s expense
Est. Participation 450 junior families (~55%) Resources available for 100% participation
Resources 2 counselors Translator available (provided by Stuy)
Location Stuyvesant High School Guidance Office (to be finalized)
Timing Majority of sessions 2/2/03-4/2/03 Remainder of sessions 4/12/03-5/30/03
Hours Monday – Friday, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm Saturday, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Pre-meeting• Family completes College Coach’s comprehensive questionnaire
• College Coach reviews questionnaire and creates structure for meeting
Meeting (basic structure)• Identify strength and weaknesses of student
• Strategic discussion (testing, extra-curriculars, recs.)

Post-meeting• College Coach completes Family Report for guidance file
