Winter Ministerial: Please note that both Pr. Bentley and Pr. Crews will be out of town at Camp Au Sable for required Ministerial Meetings Monday evening, January 22 through about mid-day on Thursday, January 25. Presidential Search Committee: As most of you know, Elder Jay Gallimore stepped down from serving as our Michigan Conference president after 27 years in that position. The search committee--comprised of the Conference Executive Committee and the last Nominating Committee from 2013--will begin meeting Sunday, January 21, to begin the process to fill this important office. As a member of the Executive Committee, Pr. Bentley will be on the search committee. Please pray the Lord's will is done and the right man is selected to fill this critical position.

Dear Church Family, Our sincere appreciation for the love shown to us in so many ways by the church and school following the recent death of our mom, Mrs. Phyllis Morgan. When she visited Metro several years ago, she was treated as family with love that she fondly remembered. Our Michigan Men of Faith Sabbath is scheduled for March 24th at GLAA. The theme this year is “The Faithful Man.” Our keynote speaker will be Pastor Ron Kelly, along with 4 breakout sessions (more details to come). Jeremy Hall will be presenting a concert in the afternoon. We will not be offering lunch this year, so please bring your own and some to share. The dining hall will be open for you to use.
