Study Modes
Flashcards: Works pretty much the way you would expect flashcards to work
Learn: Adapts to how the student responds to provide repetition of words answered incorrectly and to
challenge students who have achieved mastery
Write: Requires students to write the Latin word to match the picture provided
Spell: Requires students to write the Latin word to match the audio and picture provided
Test: Combines elements from all the study modes to build mastery
Flashcards
Select “Flashcards” from the list on the left
Clicking anywhere on the card will flip it to reveal the answer
To play audio of the Latin word, click on the speaker in the top right corner
Select the arrows below the card to proceed to the next word or return to the previous one
Play: the vocabulary and answers will proceed automatically
Shuffle: rearrange the order of the words
Options: allows you to change some settings as outlined below
Study Starred: You can choose to focus only on any words that you have starred within the set
Answer With: You can change how the question will be answered: with the Latin, the picture, or both
Audio: Select whether or not you want the Latin audio to play automatically
Learn
Select “Learn” from the list on the left
Options: allows you to change some settings as outlined below
Study Starred: You can choose to focus only on any words that you have starred within the set
Error Checking: Ignore this option. It isn’t relevant
Answer With: You can change how the question will be answered: with the Latin, the picture, or both
Question Types: You can select with types of questions will be asked. Multiple choice is my preference for
most students. Written questions will provide an extra challenge for students who have already achieved
mastery.
Audio: Select whether or not you want the Latin audio to play automatically

Create New Test: Scroll back to top and select “Create new test” to have changes take effect
