Chapter 1 Major Dissertations of Li Hongzhi

Regarding "Consummation"

Some people have the opinion that the word "Consummation" isoriginally used by Daoism, but more people believe that it originates fromBuddhist concept, "Perfect Merits," which means the Merits that commonpeople may approach after cultivation, including doing good deeds forgood returns, altruism with benefit to oneself, release all living creaturesfrom sufferings, and so on.

In Chinese culture, the word "Consummation" means nice and isused frequently. People use the word to express the best result of theirefforts, for example, in "the meeting is finished in consummation," or "thejob is done in consummation."

The antonym of "Consummation" may be "deficiency" or "regret."Most people cherish to be disengaged from "deficiency" ("regret" or"unsatisfied") and approach "Consummation," which is their dream andlonging. "Consummation" is the perfect result that everyone wishes toapproach; therefore people are always dreaming of accomplish this result.

Base on these wishes of common people, Li Hongzhi makes use ofthe desire of people for perfect future and fabricates the specific"Consummation" theory of Falun Gong by adding an even more attractingaura to it.

The said "Consummation" is the core concept of Falun Gong and themain method that Li Hongzhi lures the Dafa disciples. As the mostpowerful motivation of the Dafa disciples, Li Hongzhi's theory of"Consummation" is the significant excuse that he uses to drive thefollowers committing in different activities.

There are all kinds of motivations that Dafa disciples believe FalunGong or start cultivation, such as to be physically stronger, for mentalperfection, being cynical, etc. But when they become disciples, they all

turned to cherish the final "Consummation.""Yet I also want to bring humankind a magnificent scene at the time

of your Consummation. My thought is this: Have all Dafa disciples,regardless of whether they need bodies or not, elevate their bodies intothe sky and then fly away; those who don't need bodies will have theirbodies go through Light-Transformation in the air. This will create a glorythat's never existed before in history, leaving human beings a profoundlesson...As for Consummation, there shouldn't be a problem. It's only amatter of what form to adopt."①

"If you succeed in cultivating into a great god or a great Buddha...Youwill be able to hold the earth in your palm with no effort at all."②

"Think about it, everyone: in the past, a person had to go through alifetime of cultivation or even several lifetimes, yet today we're havingpeople reach Consummation in as little as a few years . The process ofenduring is but a brief moment, and besides, time has been accelerated."③

...Although Li Hongzhi has never directly defined the "Consummation,"

we may figure out his basic meaning from his discourses. Vulgarly speak-ing, when Li Hongzhi says "Consummation" to his disciples, he means:

Lured by such a perfect prospect, many cultivators abandon theirbeloved ones, give up their families and jobs, even committ crimes, harmor kill others, so as to achieve "Consummation."

Then, how Li Hongzhi exactly explains the said "Consummation" thathe promised to the Dafa disciples?

Actually the "Consummation" theory of Li Hongzhi has been ex-

plained differently in different times and occasions, differing from the rea-son when he used the word: to apotheosize himself, to promise benefit tohis disciples, or just running off at the mouth, or trying to make up theomissions in what he had said before but proved not able to be realized...mainly in connection with the evolution stages of Falun Gong. In his

and the other "scriptures" and "Fa-teachings," Li Hongzhi ex-plained his said "Consummation" as:

Li Hongzhi makes use of the thoughts of some Falun Gong cultiva-tors that are unsatisfied to the status of their surroundings and perusinghappy life, alleged that the human society is "frightening."

"Earth is but the garbage dump of the universe...The human beingsin the universe who are bad fall downwards, falling to the very center ofthe universe要 Earth."①

"In particular, the moral values of the human society are now declin-ing very badly...society as a whole is declining...If you ... return to this orig-inal realm of human society, you will find even from not too high a levelthat today's people and the human society rather frightening! It is truly ter-rifying!"②

"In this enormous universe, Earth looks just like an apple 要 an applewhich has become rotten inside and out. Just like every individual humanbeing, every particle inside of this apple is rotten."③

"If man continues to decline, he will face elimination, a thorough elimi-nation, which is called, 'extinction of body and soul.' It is very frightening!"④

According to Li Hongzhi, the earth is but the garbage dump of theuniverse, the human society is terrifying, and the human race is to beeliminated, like an apple which has become rotten inside and out, there-fore, the Falun Gong cultivators shall try their best to go beyond from thehuman society,

Li Hongzhi also allegs that:"For human beings to be human is not the goal. The goal is to return

to your original true self."①

"The ultimate goal of cultivating is to attain the Dao and reach spiritu-al Perfection."②

"Why does one cultivate Buddhahood? ...One will be eternally free ofsuffering and forever be in a wonderful state."③

"You are brought out of the ordinary human state, which is the mostmiserable, and taken to high levels so that you'll never suffer again and beliberated."④

"Have you heard of the Paradise of Ultimate Bliss? The Falun Par-adise is even more beautiful."⑤

"In the Paradise of Ultimate Bliss, the trees are made of gold, and soare the ground, birds, flowers, and houses. Even the Buddha-body isgolden and shiny."⑥

Hence, the Falun Gong practitioners in darkness think they havecaught a sight of the morning twilight, and then do whatever they can tolook for the opportunity to "get rid of the human world" and "enter theheavenly paradises."

The allegation of Li Hongzhi that cultivators who practice "Falun Dafa"will achieve "Consummation" satisfies the desires of the cultivators. Hesays:

"We are not coming here (on earth, the garbage dump of the uni-verse) to be a human being, but to suffer and eliminate bad. Only by wayof 'cultivation,' suffering and eliminating the bad, can we human beings re-turn to our congenital nature so as to back to our origin and true nature,back to our heavenly paradise."

"Throughout the ages, only the Buddha Fa has been able to perfectlyprovide a clear exposition of humanity, every dimension of material exis-tence, life, and the entire universe."①

"Inborn quality is a condition from birth, right enlightenment is the rea-son for a high-level person's wisdom. With truthfulness, compassion andtolerance in the heart, there is Dao, cultivating Falun Dafa can lead toConsummation."②

Therefore, there comes a chance to achieve "Consummation," getaway from the earth and get rid of pain by following Li Hongzhi and prac-ticing Falun Dafa. It seems to be the best chance that not likely to happenin a century to the Dafa disciples. Falun Gong cultivator Li Hongwu,scared by the frightening lies such as "the earth is the garbage dump ofthe universe," "the earth is going to explore," and "the doomsday isaround," tried to commit suicide by cutting in the wrist but failed, and thenjumped from the cliff and killed himself, thereby bringing ending to his28-year-old life, wishing to achieve "Consummation" (Please refer toCase 1). Another Falun Gong member He Qun thought that themagnificent meaning of human life is to achieve "Consummation," returnto "the heavenly paradise," and get away from the sea of pain. He thenchose to commit crimes, hurt his family members, and even divorced hiswife (Please refer to Case 2).

From of old, millions of people have been trying hardly but failed inseeking for the secret to "live forever and never grow old," to break awayfrom the rule of born, age, sick and death. Li Hongzhi declares that he cansolve the problem of human beings. He says:

"There are altogether two major levels (excluding practicing ). Oneis In-Triple-World-Fa ( ) cultivation practice, while the other isBeyond-Triple-World-Fa ( ) cultivation practice...In thecourse of In-Triple-World-Fa cultivation practice one's body will be con-stantly purified, it will be completely replaced by the high-energy matterwhen one reaches the highest form of In-Triple-World-Fa."①

"Human cells are being gradually replaced by high-energy matter, theaging process slows down... transforming gradually. When it's finally com-pletely replaced by high-energy matter, your body will have been entirelytransformed into another kind of physical body... And your body will neverdegenerate."②

"Why does one cultivate Buddhahood? Doing so can allow one tokeep the human body forever."③

Most of Falun Gong members start cultivation to "cure illness and im-prove the health." When they hear Li Hongzhi's allegation about "humanbody be replaced by the high-energy matter," and that one may thereforelive forever and never grow old, and his body "will never degenerate," theyseem to be promised much better than they have ever expected: notmerely a healthy body, but a body in Buddhahood. That is extremely at-tractive. Crazy about Falun Gong, they turn their steering wheel from loveof their family and happy life with a good family, to abandoning everything

in their human life so as to get a body of Buddhahood. Yao Wei, a FalunGong cultivator, tried so hard to reach the "Consummation" promised byLi Hongzhi that he abandoned everything he had in this world, only tocommit crime by printing and distributing illegal Falun Gong materials.(Please refer to Case 3) Li Bingxiu, another member who had been crazyabout Falun Gong, sincerely express herself after she was aware andback to reasonable sense, by saying: "The 'Consummation' promised byLi Hongzhi is nothing but cheating pretense. The true paradise is certainlyin this human world." (Please refer to Case 4)

Li Hongzhi says:"Gong is formed, Consummation is reached要 Buddha, Dao, God."①

"One who has reached Consummation is a Buddha, Dao, or God withboundless radiance, and he will have the magnificent image of a God,having all of the Buddha Fa's divine powers."②

"If you succeed in cultivating into a great god or a great Buddha...Youwill be able to hold the earth in your palm with no effort at all."③

"When he succeeds in cultivation later on he'll get whatever he wantsjust by extending his hand, he'll have anything he wants, and he'll be ableto do whatever he wants to要 he'll have everything in his world."④

"His Consummation will be the Consummation of an enormous groupof beings, and the Consummation of a Lord, or a King."⑤

"Consummation." According to Li Hongzhi, reaching "Consummation"means one can become almightyGod, Buddha, or the "Prince of Dharma,"who is completely free and able to do whatever he wants to. Therefore,the cultivators all take "Consummation" for their anchor and make "be-coming God and Buddha" their lifetime goal to pursue. In order to pursue"Consummation," many cultivators run amok or even have mental col-lapse, and some became the victims of Falun Gong and lost their lives.On January 24, 2006, Falun Gong cultivator Zhu Zhengfeng poured gasall over his body and burned himself, wishing to reach the "Consumma-tion" vaunted by Li Hongzhi, only to die in his young age, losing anychance of enjoying love and family life at all (Please refer to Case 5).

Chapter 2 Methods to Achieve "Consummation"

Li Hongzhi had promised to Dafa disciples that when they reach"Consummation," they may "enter the heavenly paradise." Then, by whatmethod can the disciples achieve Consummation?

Li Hongzhi says:"Karma resulting from past wrongdoing, one has illnesses or tribula-

tions...We human beings have developed to this extent today, and almosteveryone has karma built upon karma要 everyone's body has a pretty bigamount of karma."①

"Suffering is repaying a karmic debt, and thus nobody can casuallychange this. Changing it means that one would not have to repay the debtafter being in debt, and this cannot be done at will. Doing otherwise is thesame as committing a bad deed."②

"For us cultivators, other than the karma Master has eliminated, westill have to pay a portion ourselves. You will thus feel physicallyuncomfortable, as if you were suffering from sickness. Cultivation practiceis to cleanse you from your life's origin."①

"There are altogether two major levels (excluding practicing qi). Oneis In-Triple-World-Fa cultivation practice, while the other isBeyond-Triple-World-Fa cultivation practice...In thecourse of In-Triple-World-Fa cultivation practice one's body will beconstantly purified, it will be completely replaced by the high-energymatter when one reaches the highest form of In-Triple-World-Fa. Humancells will be gradually replaced by the high-energy matter...And your body

will never degenerate."①

Trusting the above, Dafa disciples believe that they themselves arecarrying so large amount of "Karma" that they need to follow instructionsof Li Hongzhi that "Master eliminates the Karma," "Suffering is to repaythe Karma" and "Elimination of Karma may purify oneself and achievingConsummation." They don't try to have medical cure when sick, callingwhich "eliminating karma," and "purifying body." Some even think theyhave already got "a body that will never degenerate" and will not be hurt infast or jumping from a height. They take lost of their lives as reaching"Consummation." Falun Gong cultivator Zhang Yidong fell in cancer, butshe did not go to hospital to have medical cure, expecting to reach a"Consummation by eliminating Karma." Li Hongzhi disappointed her untilher death. In her dying words, she told here sister: "I wish I could live anormal life." (Please refer to Case 6) Another Falun Gong cultivator MaXiangjin, thinking he has already got "a body that will never degenerate,"jumped from the top of a high building to show the world the power ofDafa, but instead of reach Consummation, he has only got a life timedeformity (Please refer to Case 7).

In order to make Dafa disciples follow himself firmly although theirlive, Li Hongzhi says:

"If this sentimentality is not relinquished, you will be unable to practicecultivation."②

"Cultivate away fame, material interest, and emotion, reach Consum-mation, ascending the firmament."③

"If you can let go of life and death, you're a God; if you can't let go of

life and death, you're a human."①

Of course, Li Hongzhi knows how difficult it is to drop out "fame, inter-est and emotion" for common people, so he says:

"As a matter of fact, when you agonize over infringements upon yourreputation, self-interest, and feelings among everyday people, it alreadyindicates that you cannot let go of ordinary human attachments. You mustremember this: Cultivation itself is not painful要 the key lies in your inabili-ty to let go of ordinary human attachments. Only when you are about to letgo of your reputation, interests, and feelings will you feel pain...You don'tlet go of those filthy things that you cling to in this filthy world, and youeven agonize over the most trivial losses."②

"But as a cultivator you can't confuse yourself with an everyday per-son. To put it a bit seriously, you're no longer human...Humans have vari-ous emotions and desires, and live for emotion . During the courseof cultivation you are gradually taking these things more lightly and gradu-ally letting go of them until you completely discard them."③

Since emotion is the fetter of cultivation and the obstacle of reaching"Consummation," then anyone who cannot drop emotion will not reach"Consummation."

Therefore, the cultivators try their best to get rid of all kinds of emo-tions in the world. How hard it is when dropping emotions, they have to dowhatever they can to "pass the barrier of emotion." However, to love is hu-man. No single Dafa member had ever drop human emotion 要 if he can,he had already dropped his emotion to Li Hongzhi and Dafa at all.

And according to Li Hongzhi, anyone who has emotion will be impos-sible to reach "Consummation." But the fact is that when Li Hongzhi says"drop out fame, interest and emotion," he actually means that the Dafadisciples shall only crazy about his Falun Gong. "Consummation," but he failed, getting nothing but being almost isolated.He said when recovered from bewilderment, that "Li Hongzhi's advocatingof 'droping out fame, interest and emotion' was like harmful poison whichmade me calloused and nearly became a waste!"(Please refer to Case 8)

When Li Hongzhi requests his disciples to abandon fame, interestand emotion, he emphasizes that they should give up "emotion betweenhusband and wife," and mainly referring to "abstinency." He says:

"You cannot cultivate well if you have not yet abstained emotion orsex. Right in the midst of ordinary people you have to get rid of every bit ofall those bad thoughts you have, and that's the only way you can improveand go up. You have to give up all human emotion and lust, that's the onlyway you can improve yourself and reach the highest realm."①

"Those who are attached to lust are no different from wicked people.While meditating the scriptures, they even cast furtive glances; they arefar from the Dao and are wicked, everyday people. "②

Although Li Hongzhi requests his disciples to reach Consummationby "abstinency," it is hard for normal human beings to suffer from "lust."But Consummation cannot be reached if one cannot "abstain sex" andstrangle human nature. Xiaomei, a Falun Gong practitioner, fearing lustmight impede her cultivation, and even draw her to the hell, she chose toleave her family so as to abstain sex (Please refer to Case 9).

"Cultivate until not one attachment is left," ③ so says Li Hongzhi to

Dafa disciples again and again. But how many Dafa disciples have actual-ly cultivated and eliminated any attachment?

Li Hongzhi requests Dafa disciples to drop all and every attachment(including body and life), he says:

"It is in fact time to let go of your last attachments. As cultivators, youalready know that you should, and in your actions you have, let go of allworldly attachments (including the attachment to the human body) andhave made it through the process of letting go of life and death."①

When Dafa disciples fail to reach "Consummation" even after theyhave abandoned every attachment, Li Hongzhi throws out his saying"searching inside."

"When you have problem, search inside for your answer, this is thecore difference between Dafa disciples and normal people.②

But how to search and what are supposed to be the attachments thatshall be abandoned?

"Human beings acquire many notions in this world and are, as a con-sequence, driven by these notions to pursue what they yearn for...Sothose so-called 'beautiful dreams and wishes' become pursuits that cannever be realized, despite painful attachments."③

"Human society is a good place for cultivation, since everything herecan lead to attachments. Precisely because of this, a person who is ableto step out of it and get rid of all his attachments to human society is mag-nificent and is able to reach Consummation."④

"The entire cultivation process for a practitioner is one of constantlygiving up human attachments."⑤

According to Li Hongzhi's theory of "searching inside, Consummationby eliminating attachments," the said "attachments" include anything goodthat human pursue, such as happy life, good emotion, and healthy body,

etc. So long as any Dafa disciple is alive, he has some sort of "attach-ment." It seems the poor Dafa disciple could never stop searching his"attachments" until his death. However, how could he reach "Consumma-tion" without eliminating all attachments?

The cultivators have to continuously "search inside," only to makethemselves lose normal sense, lose normal capacity to distinguish andanalyze, and become:

"Lack rationality"要 with nothing but "Consummation" is expected, noone but Master Li is respected, no emotion but lust to Falun Dafa. Accord-ingly, some disciples refuse to go for a doctor when they are sick and diefinally of disease; some disciples cultivate only to become mentally col-lapsed and even become murderer; some disciples try Male-Female DualCultivation or even group coition to improve their efficacy of cultivation.

"Acting and talking senselessly" 要 some disciples think himself bornfrom the universe (master soul), disregard family love, recognize no rela-tive in human beings, or even taking killing lives as "Consummation by re-leasing people from suffering."

"Losing sense of reason" 要 "look outward" said to be "persecuted bythe government," "seek outwardly" said to be "intolerable," and even killpeople for "eliminating the devil."

But even these advanced Dafa practitioners cannot get away fromthe doomed Fa-rectification according to the recent lections of Li Hongzhi.

"Fa-rectification is in its final stage, and the disruptive factors in thecosmos are dragging those who have failed to be diligent out from amongthe ranks of practitioners, such as those who 1) lack rationality; 2) act andtalk senselessly; and 3) have not removed their attachments, which haveincreasingly expanded, leading these practitioners to have a strong ten-dency to look outward and seek outwardly, losing their sense of reason."①

Following the spirit of Li Hongzhi that "the course of cultivation is acourse to let go of ordinary human attachments," Falun Gong practitionerWang Jindong's enviable family, gradually dispatched from normal life and

became enslaved to the spiritual control of Falun Gong. He Haihua,Wang's wife loved watching TV programs. When Wang Jindong heard LiHongzhi's wording "your time is running out, be diligent in cultivation," heforbad her watching TV any more. He Haihua liked reading magazines,Wang said "why don't read Dafa." He even requested her to stop eatingher favorite chilli so as to get rid of "human attachments." His daughterWang Juan, a vivacious and cheerful girl, loved singing and facial care be-fore the family started the Gong cultivation. Afterwards, her father re-quired her to let go these "attachments." Therefore, she tried her best toconstrain herself, "dare not laugh, and dare not sing." Clamored by LiHongzhi, on January 23, 2001, pushed by Li Hongzhi's repeated wording"let go the last attachment," under the bewitchment of heresies "ascen-sion" and "Consummation," Wang Jindong and his caboodle started up atragedy of the appealing "self-immolation affair at Tian'anmen Square,"resulting death of two people and seriously wounded of three. Wang Jin-dong and the other practitioners paid too disastrous price for "Consumma-tion" but gained nothing (Please refer to Case 10).

Li Hongzhi says院"If you can let go of life and death, you're a God; if you can't let go of

life and death, you're a human."①

"It is in fact time to let go of your last attachments. As cultivators, youalready know that you should, and in your actions you have, let go of allworldly attachments (including the attachment to the human body) andhave made it through the process of letting go of life and death."②

"Regardless whether they are put in jail or lost a human life for culti-vation of Fa, they all gain Consummation."③

Amongst the heresies of Li Hongzhi, the theory of "Consummation" isthe most cheating one. Lured by all good prospects of the "Consumma-tion" promised by Li Hongzhi, "Consummation" becomes the only pursuitof Falun Gong practitioners. In pursuit of "Consummation," the Dafa disci-ples eliminate their human nature by abandon their family, trample laws,or even risk their own lives by ultra manners such as self-immolation andpaunch to get rid of all human attachments (including life itself). There areexamples:

Gao Encheng, an employee of Industrial and Commercial Administra-tion Office at Tianbai town, Kai county in Chongqing, started practiceFalun Gong with his wife in 1997, believing that they will "return to the o-riginal true self" and "raise to heaven after death." On November 6, 1998,10 o'clock in the morning, he jumped from his home at 4th floor holdinghis son Gao Xiong in arm. Gao Encheng died in hospital. The child wassaved.

On the night of August 29, 1998, Wang Yuzhi, an employee of Shan-mushu Coal Mine, Furong Mines Bureau, Yibin city , Sichuan province ,said to her husband at home: "I'm going up to the heaven, after I count 9,I will fly." Then she lied down and started counting "1, 2, 3..." But she didnot fly after counting. She wandered all day with vague emotion in herface. The very next day, she hung her self at home.

Falun Gong practitioners lapse into the illusion of "Consummation"that Li Honghi promised, believing that they will "go up to the heaven afterdeath" and death is "nothing but abandon one flesh body," finally kill theirown lives.

On July 10, 1998, Feng Shaobao who had practiced "Falun Dafa" forfour years hung himself. Feng Shaobao had once worked at Xinhua Ship-yard in Nanjing. In his Falun Gong practice diary he wrote, "Who are ourrelatives? Our real parents are looking at us from Paradise, they expectus to return home. We all want to go back..." Feng Shaobao told his wifebefore he killed himself, "If I have been off for 48 hours and do not return,

I will definitely arrive in Paradise at that time."①

To fetch up his promise of "Consummation" that is proved cannot bereached by dropping life and death, Li Hongzhi released a "Consumma-tion by saving beings from suffering" in his

in March, 2002:"So for you, personal Consummation is minor, your cultivation is ab-

solutely not a personal, simple matter of reaching Consummation."②

Thereafter, in July of 2002, this theory was further supplemented inInternational Fa Conference in Washington DC:

"Right now, your Consummation is first and foremost. Of course, yourbeing responsible to Dafa and saving sentient beings is part of your Con-summation."③

On April 22, 2003, he alleged at:

"As you already know, Dafa disciples have gone through the processof Consummation, and history today has bestowed upon Dafa disciples aneven greater responsibility: not your own liberation and Consummation,but saving more sentient beings. That's why you deserve to be Dafa disci-ples."④

On November 21, 2004, Li Hongzhi emphasized in his:

"Before long everything will change, but as Dafa disciples, you can'twaver in any way before Consummation...Your cultivation's goal goes

beyond self-Consummation, as you are to save sentient beings, and youare helping the lives of the future to establish that future."①

On July 22, 2007, Li Hongzhi said in"Aside from what you as individuals need to go through and establish

on your final road to Consummation, what is most important for you andmost significant right now is to save people."②

Therefore, according to Li Hongzhi, none of the Dafa disciples is culti-vating for himself, but for the beings in one of the numberless huge cos-mic bodies that he is representing instead. If any disciple failed in his culti-vation, the beings in the cosmic body represented by him will be doomedeternally.

Any disciple who wishes to reach "Consummation" must "save all be-ings from suffering." In case any being has not been saved, the disciple isnot able to reach Consummation. Considering the 6 billion human beingsall around the world, it is a question when each of them could possibly besaved.

By setting "saving beings" as a requirement and condition of "Con-summation," Li Hongzhi completed his transfer from "Personal Consum-mation" to "Common Consummation by rescuing beings," once againfinding a new bailment for his promises. However, once again the "Con-summation" expected by disciples becomes too far away.

Li Hongzhi once said, "I knew at the very beginning that the old forceswould interfere this. Their interference seems stochastic but in fact or-dered. The difficulties and tests that our students met in this world wereactually arranged by these old forces." "The evil party launches the perse-cution against Falun Gong, disturbing people in this world to prevent them

from knowing the truth, thus it is the worst evil being. In Fa-rectification,you must eliminate the interference of the 'evil beings' and their interfer-ence."①

By this token, in order to shift off his responsibility for the discipleswho cannot reach "Consummation," Li Hongzhi fabricated the "old forces"that never exists and the two jins, "good" and "evil," thereby push the re-sponsibility of the disciples cannot reaching "Consummation" to the fabri-cated "old forces."

If some Dafa disciples cannot get what they wish in their daily life, orif some are self-contemptuous a depressed, and wish to pursue relief,they may do whatever to seek an instant "Consummation," get rid of thepredicament and reach the realm of "great freedom." When he hears thatthe "Consummation" that they've been expected is interfered by the "dev-ils" fabricated by Li Hongzhi, the only choice left for them is to reach Con-summation by eliminating devils.

But how should they eliminate the devils? Li Hongzhi says:"If the evil has already reached the point where it is unsavable and

unkeepable, then various measures at different levels can be used to stopit and eradicate it...Completely eliminating the evil is for Fa-rectification,and not a matter of personal cultivation."②

In the , Li Hongzhi in-dicated that the greatest obstacles are "the law and the current govern-ment."

Therefore, some Dafa disciples take anyone who interfere their Facultivation for "devil," and they use "various measures at different levels"to "stop and eradicate" the evils so as to "cultivate to high levels." Thusthey harmed many innocent lives. On April 22, 2002, a Falun Gong practi-tioner Guan Shuyun in Yichun city, Heilongjiang province, carried out her"eradication of devils," strangling her 9-year-old daughter Dai Nan todeath before the eyes of scores of people! (Please refer to Case 11)

Chapter 3 Results of "Consummation"

Li Hongzhi says:"You are transforming your innate body. While your body is trans-

forming and human cells are being gradually replaced by high-energymatter...When it's finally completely replaced by high-energy matter, yourbody will have been entirely transformed into another kind of physicalbody. That kind of body, like I said, will have gone beyond the Five Ele-ments, it won't be within the Five Elements anymore. And your body willnever degenerate."①

"It's (Gong) carried directly on your master soul, it comes with youwhen you're born and it goes with you when you die...In other words, whatyou give up are bad things...you gain...your level is raised, you eventuallyobtain a True Fruition, and you reach Perfection 要 what it resolves is thefundamental problem."②

"A person's soul doesn't perish."③

"The body that we see in this material dimension 要 dies, yet none ofthe bodies existing in other dimensions die...When a person dies, only thelayer of the largest molecules 要 the human shell or this layer ofmolecules on the surface要 dies and falls away from this dimension. Howcould your real body that's composed of microscopic matter die?"④

"Even if a Dafa cultivator truly casts off his human skin during thepersecution, what awaits him is still Consummation."⑤

"In this cosmos, 99.9 percent of the numerous cultivation ways in the

past and heavenly paradises in different cosmic bodies didn't need bod-ies. Not everyone thinks so favorably about having a flesh body. Manyheavenly paradises absolutely will not let you bring a body when you re-turn there. If you took your body along, you would be disrupting the Fathere."①

Hearing that by cultivation, their bodies are transformed into "thebody that will never degenerate," and they do not need bodies to reachConsummation, getting rid of body is a kind of relief, what on earth thedisciples need to fear when they committ suicide by jumping off the build-ing, jumping into the river or fast? On January 23, 2001, seven FalunGong practitioners from Henan province including Chen Guo and Liu Siy-ing carried out self-immolation together in Tian'anmen Square, resulting totwo dead and three serious injured. Liu Baorong, one of the participatorssaid: "'Consummation' means 'going up to the heavenly paradise,' whichis a very good thing and will happen instantly, without any pain... (Theheavenly paradise is) covered by gold, the roads are covered by gold, thebirds are made of gold, everything are made of gold including human bod-ies." Chen Guo said: "At that time, I don't fear self-immolation, cause Ithought 'Consummation' would be achieved, and heavenly paradise couldbe reached. According to , the heavenly paradise is extreme-ly beautiful." When the nurses in the hospital asked Liu Siying: "How couldone reach heavenly paradise?" Liu Siying replied: "Dropping the fleshbody, the soul will go up there." Yet the mother Liu Chunling and daughterLiu Siying finally failed to achieve Consummation by self-immolation(Please refer to Case 13).

Li Hongzhi promises that:"In our practice system, I use the method of Ascension in broad day-

light for those who are to go to the Falun Paradise...Many of you think witha human mindset, 'Oh, this Ascension in Broad Daylight is awesome.People will see me fly up.' You are thinking about divine matters with a hu-man mindset, and that is totally unfitting. Put another way, at the time ofConsummation there will naturally be a form for it. I can tell you, though,that with so many people reaching Consummation this time, I will definite-ly leave a profound lesson for the people who didn't believe. So when mydisciples Consummate in the future it will very likely be a magnificentsight, one that human society will never forget."①

"I also want to bring humankind a magnificent scene at the time ofyour Consummation...Have all Dafa disciples, regardless of whether theyneed bodies or not, elevate their bodies into the sky and then fly away;those who don't need bodies will have their bodies go throughLight-Transformation in the air...People don't believe in gods, so let godstruly manifest before people."②

"At the very moment of death they did not feel scared; on the con-trary, they suddenly felt a sense of relief, with some sort of subconsciousexcitement. Some people felt free from the bondage of the body andcould levitate very lightly and wonderfully."③

Believing that after Consummation one may levitate very lightly andwonderfully, free from the bondage of the body, seen by everyone in theworld, Dafa disciples dare to do whatever they can for this magnificentscene of Consummation. However, more than a dozen years have passedsince Li Hongzhi first mentioned his Consummation, who ever has seenthis magnificent scene of ascension in broad daylight? Which one of theDafa disciples has ever enjoyed the levitation lightly and wonderfully!

Long Gang who once lived in Shuangshi town of Chongqing, dream-ing of "Consummation," had always said that the earth was going to bedestroyed and he would ascend in broad daylight. On early dawn of July

17, 1997, holding his 6-year-old child, murmuring the lections, Long brokeloose from his family, ran to the river and jumped down the tone bridge.His family and neighbors tried to save them. The son was saved, but LongGang could never be saved.①

Cui Qiaoyun, who once has been a Falun Gong practitioner, said,"Now I realize that the so-called 'ascension in broad daylight' was a sheertrick. If Li Hongzhi were really such a rare 'Buddha' rare to see in a thou-sand years, if he could go 'ascension,' he would not have to hide in the U-nited States to eke out a living. So many years have passed, but is thereever a Dafa practitioner ascension in daylight?" (Please refer to Case 12)

Li Hongzhi says:"As Dafa is being cultivated more deeply, many disciples have suc-

cessively attained Enlightenment or achieved Gradual Enlightenment."②

"The Falun Paradise is even more beautiful."③

"In the Paradise of Ultimate Bliss, the trees are made of gold, and soare the ground, birds, flowers, and houses. Even the Buddha-body isgolden and shiny."④

There comes the fabricated scene of "Another Space" and "FalunParadise." But how could it be proved? Or is there anybody who could seeit? Then the "Consummation in another space" will always be a scene thatcould never be seen or toughed by anybody at all.

Well, it could be said that some Dafa disciples reached the Consum-mation according to Li Hongzhi.

Station of Falun Gong, and seven other key members had a traffic acci-dent on their way from Haikou to Sanya to spread Falun Gong with ChenYong and six other people dead and Zhang Yijun seriously wounded. LiHongzhi gave a holographic letter to Jiang Xiaojun, director of HainanGeneral Training Station of Falun Gong, saying: "When Consummation isreached, flesh body is no longer needed in that world...Only Dafa discipleswho go to the Falun Paradise may carry flesh bodies with them. Masterknows your heart. Actually when you see my letter, the eight disciples ofmine have reached Consummation in their own different world."①

While one of the eight disciples that were alleged by Li Hongzhi tohave reached "Consummation," Zhang Yijun, survived and finally gave upFalun Gong. Doesn't it seem strange that death or giving up Falun Gongmay also be called "Consummation."

Chapter 4 Time of "Consummation"

Li Hongzhi promises that Dafa disciples who follow his words mayreach "Consummation," but when could they reach Consummation? Hasthere ever been any one who has already achieved Consummation?

Regarding the time of "Consummation," there is a process that LiHongzhi develops his theory. The concept of Consummation time wasambiguous in his early days of teaching, such as "Consummation by twoyears of cultivation," and "your last chance to reach Consummation," "10years to Consummation" is the most definite concept of the Consumma-tion time promised by Li Hongzhi, and the most significant method of hischeating and control, which deeply influences Dafa disciples. Li Hongzhivows solemnly to his adherents that cultivation of Falun Gong may enablethem to become god or Buddha by most expeditious way (i.e., to believein Falun Gong, buy his books and read repeatedly, Consummation can bethereby achieved within 10 years. Sounds shorter than any other religiousor "Cultivation"), to become god and Buddha in a bunch (according to LiHongzhi, all of his disciples will reach Consummation). Now that ten years'cultivation is almost done, and the dreamed "Consummation by ten years'cultivation" is going to be failed. Therefore Li Hongzhi had to change his"Personal Consummation" into "Common Consummation by rescuing be-ings" in his .

Li Hongzhi "showed" and started teaching Fa in 1992, and mentioned"Consummation" in his so-called (On Buddha Law):

"Mankind will make a leap forward if it can take a fresh look at itselfand at the universe, changing its rigid way of thinking...Throughout theages, only the Buddha Fa has been able to perfectly provide a clear expo-

sition of humanity, every dimension of material existence, life, and the en-tire universe."

Later he wrote in the poem :"Scriptures cultivate one's heart, exercises refine one's body;

Oneday upon Consummation, truthfulness , compassion and tolerancestays."①

On February 18, 1993, Li Hongzhi wrote in the poem :"Inborn quality is a condition from birth, right enlightenment is the rea-

son for a high-level person's wisdom. With truthfulness, compassion andtolerance in the heart, there is Dao, cultivating Falun Dafa can lead toConsummation."

During this period, Li Hongzhi hadn't prescripted how many peopleand when could they reach Consummation, but merely set Consummationas a goal.

But after 1996, Li Hongzhi has dropped hints several times that "Per-sonal Consummation is approaching."

"The time for actual cultivation in studying Dafa is limited."②

"I have taught the Fa for two years, and I have given disciples twoyears to practice cultivation."③

"A large number of disciples have now achieved or are about toachieve Consummation. How solemn it is for a human being to achieveConsummation! Nothing in this world could be more wonderful, glorious,or magnificent."④

"Enlightenment is also called the Awakening of Wisdom. In our Dafait is called the Unlocking of Gong; that is, one has reached Consummation

through cultivation, finished the entire course of cultivation, and is about togo to a heavenly paradise...Because some disciples have come from veryhigh dimensions to obtain the Fa, they will become Enlightened very soon.The two-year time for cultivation practice that I mentioned was for thesedisciples. But all of our Dafa disciples have indeed made rapid progress intrue cultivation. Many of them will soon become enlightened, which usedto be beyond the imagination of cultivators. I hope everyone will maintaina peaceful mind and make continual progress with perseverance. As eachperson reaches Consummation, I will receive and deliver each."①

Around ten thousand of Falun Gong practitioners besieged Zhong-nanhai on April 25, 1999. There were so many of them coming because LiHongzhi specifically instructed Wang Zhiwen and Yao Jie when they noti-fied practitioners all around the country to come to Zhongnanhai, theyshould emphasize that, "This is the chance to reach the final Consumma-tion."②

Ten thousand of them besieged Zhongnanhai, but none reachedConsummation. When the Chinese government legally banned FalunGong on July 22, 1999, his adherents started to doubt Consummation.Withal, Mr. Li exculpated:

"Despite this, and the situation in which a large number of discipleswho are true cultivators are suffering severe hardships, the time of conclu-sion has been repeatedly postponed so as to wait for those people to rec-ognize their own fundamental attachments. This is because many amongthem are predestined and have the potential to reach Consummation...Dafa has already consummated everything in the cosmos...Disciples arewaiting to reach Consummation, and I can wait no more."③

"Think about it, everyone: in the past, a person had to go through alifetime of cultivation or even several lifetimes, yet today we're having peo-ple reach Consummation in as little as a few years. The process of endur-ing is but a brief moment, and besides, time has been accelerated."①

After that, Li Hongzhi hinted repeatedly that the Consummation wasjust around the corner and gave the detailed promise in his lection

on May 19, 2002: "Master has spread Dafa for tenyears. Even in the human world, predestinations have been greatlychanged. The comet catastrophe predestined in history is no more, thethird world war has been averted, and the peril in 1999 from the cycle offormation-stasis-degeneration-destruction of Heaven and Earth will neverrecur. The Fa-rectification of the human world is on the verge of arriving."②

is published exactly ten years after thepublication of (On Buddha Law), which means the said "Master hasspread Dafa for ten years" by Li Hongzhi and that "the Fa-rectification ofthe human world is on the verge of arriving," namely the "Consummation"is approaching.

In , Li Hongzhi aims to declare to his disci-ples that: the "Consummation by ten years cultivation" is approaching,which is the theory of "Consummation by ten years cultivation." From thenon, the Dafa practitioners believe that Consummation will be approachedby ten years' cultivation, and accelerate their preparation to receive thecoming "Consummation."

However the temporary excitement of Dafa disciples die rapidly astime goes by. They become lather for the "Consummation by ten yearscultivation" promised by Li Hongzhi could not be realized. To rescue his

lies, in March 2002, Li Hongzhi shifted his wording in the

"Don't worry that it will take a long time. I can tell you that Christianityrose after three hundred years of persecution. Is a Dafa disciple, with hisimportant mission, not as good as an ordinary cultivator? What's crucial ishow we understand things. Let me ask you, if it would take another tenyears to save all sentient beings, would you still do it?"①

Obviously, when Li Hongzhi said, "Let me ask you, if it would take an-other ten years to save all sentient beings, would you still do it?" he actu-ally left the evidence for the "Consummation by ten years cultivation"promised by himself. The altered wording "don't worry that it will take along time" means the promised "Master has spread Dafa for ten years"and that "the Fa-rectification of the human world is on the verge of arriv-ing" completely falling through.

"For an ordinary person who has done something good for Dafa dur-ing this period, at this critical time, it's possible for even that person toreach Consummation as a god, let alone you, who are cultivating in theDafa."②

"Most all of the entire cosmos has beencompleted in Fa-rectification...Between the old and new cosmos, the new cosmos was ever gaining inweight, and the part that had gone through Fa-rectification was ever in-creasing...the formation of the new cosmos is basically fully done...Andwhen all of those things are resolved, the last stage of Fa-rectification willdraw to a close."③

"Today is the final moment that concludes arrangements that areeons old...you are now Dafa disciples who have made it through, and youare Dafa disciples who will soon achieve Consummation...As the Fa-recti-fication constantly forges ahead, the surface dimension has the look ofsomething that would be punctured from just a little poke...You have al-

ready made it through the hardest part of your cultivation, so walk well thefinal leg of your journey."①

Ten years passed since Li Hongzhi promised "Consummation by tenyears cultivation," yet none of his adherents has reached the prospected"Consummation." Although Li Hongzhi is still using "Consummation" in lur-ing Dafa disciples, but he no longer promises an exact time of Consum-mation, which becomes far way to go.

When Dafa disciples find they could not achieve the "Consummation"that they've been dreaming of, their doubt to Li Hongzhi increase. InMarch, 2002, Li Hongzhi threw out his "Common Consummation by res-cuing beings" 要 Dafa disciples are cultivating to rescue beings and thepersonal Consummation and personal cultivation is over:

"You are saving even more and even larger additional cosmic bodies...A Dafa disciple's responsibilities aren't for the sake of personal Consum-mation, but to save sentient beings while validating the Fa 要 that is aDafa disciple's historic mission."②

By throwing out the saying "Common Consummation by rescuing be-ings," Li Hongzhi endlessly postpone the time and extend the place of"Consummation," thus drawing the practitioners into endless cultivation.

On November 21, 2004, Li Hongzhi said to his disciples in: "Your cultiva-

tion's goal goes beyond self-Consummation, as you are to save sentientbeings."①

要 Li Hongzhi shifts the "final chance of Consummation" into thestarting time of "saving sentient beings"!

On February 26, 2005, Li Hongzhi said in: "Fa-Rectification Period Dafa

Disciples have enormous responsibilities...Our work is not yet completelydone, though, and in terms of personal cultivation, each step might."②

要 Li Hongzhi changes his methods, telling his disciples if they wishto reach personal Consummation they shall first have the said "work"done.

On May 27, 2006, Li Hongzhi so wrote in his letter to the Ukraine FaConference: "The Consummation of Fa-rectification Period Dafa Disciplesis Dafa creating the Great Enlightened Beings of the new cosmos, so thismakes your responsibilities that much greater. As you progress in cultiva-tion, your mission of saving beings and dissolving the evil and the old fac-tors' interference will naturally converge with your cultivation."③

要 Now Li Hongzhi starts to request his disciples to complete their re-sponsibilities of "saving beings and dissolving the evil and the old forces'interference" before they could ever reach Consummation!

On February 26, 2005, Li Hongzhi said in: "From the beginning I knew

that the old forces would interfere with this...The different tribulations andtests our disciples have gone through in this world are exactly the ar-rangement of these old forces."④

要 Thus, Li Hongzhi pushs the responsibility of not reaching Consum-

mation to the said "old forces."On February 26, 2008, Li Hongzhi wrote in his "lection", the disciples who "lack rationality," who "act and talk senselessly"

and those who "have not removed their attachments, which have increas-ingly expanded, leading these practitioners to have a strong tendency tolook outward and seek outwardly to be washed out."要 He has once promised that all disciples may reach Consumma-

tion, now begins to wash out part of the Dafa disciples!On May 24, 2008, Li Hongzhi said again in the New York Conference:

"Whether your motive is to save sentient beings, to validate the Fa, or tomake progress in your own cultivation, they are ordeals all the same. Theyaren't supposed to make way for you just because you think, 'I'm doingthis for Dafa' or 'I'm doing this to save sentient beings.'"①

要 Thus, Li Hongzhi requires the Dafa disciples suffering all ordeals, ifthey wish to reach Consummation, they should follow the requirement ofLi Hongzhi to "search inwards" and "cultivate inversely."

Until today, none of the adherents of Li Hongzhi has ever flied in thesky, with or without body, and become "Buddha, Dao and God." The na-ture rule of born, age, sick and death is fair to every human being and noone may ever escape from the rule. Ever since the ancient times, thou-sands of people have devoted themselves into cultivation but except forlegends, which one of them is proved to live forever, not getting old or as-cend in broad daylight? On the contrary, too many of committed suicide orinjured themselves to pursue "Consummation," "Ascension" or "becomeGod or Buddha."

Conclusion

Through the above four parts of analysis to Li Hongzhi's main discus-sion regarding "Consummation," one may possibly understand why Dafadisciples are so strongly attracted by Consummation. From the methodsof "Consummation" that Li Hongzhi proposed, one may possibly how ex-tremely uncertain it is for Dafa disciples to reach "Consummation." Fromthe results of Li Hongzhi's "Consummation," one may possibly see the illu-sion nature of the "Consummation" expected by Dafa disciples. From thetime of "Consummation" promised by Li Hongzhi, one may possibly seethe cheating nature of Li Hongzhi's theory of "Consummation."

Then, what exactly is the "Consummation" promised by Li Hongzhi toDafa disciples?

Xue Hongjun, one of the planners of the self-immolation event atTian'anmen Square said: "Consummation is a soap bubble, to woozy peo-ple which is a beautiful dream, but to the sober, a nightmare." (Please re-fer to Case 13)

Wang Jindong, whose face is completely wounded in the self immo-lation, appealed to people who are still obsessed to Falun Gong todaythat: "Wake up, don't regret after great suffering like me, thus the price istoo big! Li Hongzhi's 'Consummation' is nothing but a great lie!" (Pleaserefer to Case 10)

On August 10, 1998, a 28-year-old Falun Gong practitioner jumpedoff the 100-meter cliff at the Dragon Gate of Western Mountain inKunming, Yunnan province and died. Three days later, people found hishorrible remains. He was called Li Hongwu, a graduate with universitydegree and a translator of Physical Education and Sports Committee ofYunnan. He began to practice Falun Gong since 1997, and beingobsessed so much, he went on a blind alley in less than two years.

Li Hongwu's wife said that in 1997 Li got a series of "Falun Dafa"books and video cassettes, and then he refused to eat meat and practicedsitting meditation on bed like a log and didn't move a little even undermosquito bit according to the heresy of "truthfulness, compassion andtolerance" advocated in the books. The couple relation remained in nameonly. Gradually, he became distant even to his own daughter, and oftenlowered his head and stared blankly in the courtyard for more than anhour, sometimes thought aloud, claiming he was "chatting with theMaster." In order to seek "truthfulness, compassion and tolerance," LiHongwu refused to eat meat, claiming chicken would be hatched in hisabdomen if he ate eggs. Watching TV must be soundless for fear it wouldaffect communications with "the Master" in order to "go up," "towardsConsummation." He Qun lives Zhenjiang, Jiangsu province . In May 2002, when hebecame sobered from nightmare, all was impossible to retrieve 要 theprevious happy family had broken, he was sent to prison, and his oldparents had to bear debts from him under the terrible blow of single son inprison, and daughter-in-law and grandson left.

In 1997, he was introduced to Falun Gong in the parade of"truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance." Later, according to therequirement Li Hongzhi's "repeatedly meditate" and "cultivation," he spenta lot of time to meditate the "scriptures." He was gradually andunconsciously controlled by various heresies and refused to takemedicine when he fell ill because he believed "Gong could get rid of thevirus," and he became aloof to family love. As time went by, the heresiesbecame stronger and deeper in his mind and his outlook on life and worldhad changed radically. In his eye, the biggest meaning of life was theso-called "cultivation for Consummation," going back to "the heavenlyparadise" and "breaking away from the suffering sea" said by Li Hongzhi.

In July 1999, Chinese government banned Falun Gong according tolaw, at that time He Qun was unwilling to admit the fact Falun Gong was acult. Meanwhile, Li Hongzhi continuously released "scriptures" fromabroad, claiming the time of "Consummation" was coming, and one wouldlose the opportunity and be "eliminated and destroyed" if "couldn't stepout" (in confrontation with the government). Under such a menace and forsake of his own "Consummation" as well, he began to engage in illegalactivities. Finally, he was arrested by printing illegal leaflets for FalunGong.

In the detention house, he continued to resist the law by means offast as advocated by Li Hongzhi. His parents, wife and son came to per-

suade him. When his mother knelt down, weeping and begging him tobreak away from the evil cult Falun Gong, he didn't show slightly mercy.

When he was awakened, He Qun said: "While I am serving my sen-tence, my old parents do all they can to pay the debt. At the weekendsand in holiday vacations, when other families gather happily for celebra-tion, my parents could do nothing but cry bitterly at home. Whenever Ithink of this, my heart is filled with endless remorse and agony. Li Hongzhipromises that the family of the Falun Gong practitioners would 'be reward-ed,' but I finally realize I have brought my family members nothing but sor-row and agony. I also find out that 'to remove Karma for others' means topurposely harm others, and that's Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong's viciouslogic."

Yao Wei is former teacher of Beijing No.19 Middle School. In 1996 hewas cheated by Li Hongzhi's lies of so-called "truthfulness, compassion,tolerance," "cultivating your mind," and "doing a good man," then began topractice Falun Gong, gradually he was trapped into the vicious circle ofFalun Gong. He joined the "4窑25" illegal gathering at Zhongnanhai and"7窑21" illegal gathering and affray. In 2000, he printed more than 40,000leaflets for Falun Gong, and received sentence for the crime of organizingand using evil cult to destroy the law implementation.

Yao Wei said he was hooked and trapped into Falun Gong under thebewitchment of becoming "perfect" Buddha by Li Hongzhi. Li Hongzhi soldthese shadows but took real benefits from you, and then bit you in a livinghell.

Allured by Li Hongzhi's , Yao Wei turned from"Fa cultivation for Consummation" to "safeguard Fa for Consummation,"

with the belief of "going up to Consummation" by giving up fame, interestand emotion, he left alone classes and students, and complained for the"unfair treatment" for Li Hongzhi and Falun Gong. The school leaders andcolleagues tried to convert him earnestly and kindly, with the hope hecould distinguish the evil cult nature of Falun Gong and completely drawthe line with it, but he was unmoved. Yao Wei thought it was a test if hecould let down fame and material interest, and if he could be insusceptibleto emotion, believing that he could "go up," "towards Consummation" bypassing through this.

Under continuous allurement and urge of "steping out to safeguardFa, going up towards Consummation," he began to print Falun Gongleaflets and went on a criminal path.

In prison, Yao Wei began to recollect himself, Li Hongzhi and FalunGong: "Why do so many true cultivators who have given up everything inthe world still fail to reach the standard of Li Hongzhi's Consummation?Why can't Li Hongzhi's law bodies protect us? Why can we these super-normal people be closed by normal people in prison?"

He became reasonable and dare to face reality, and not obsessed inthe imaginary heavenly paradise any more. Especially after liberated fromprison, assistance volunteers solved his questions and made him reallyknow the cult Falun Gong. He said at the beginning his knowledge of LiHongzhi was merely a Qigong Master, and he also doubted many thingsclaimed by Li. But along with study Fa and communications, he was grad-ually brainwashed, gradually turned from disbelief to half belief and finallyto being completely obsessed to these heresies, and he would activelygive up fame, interest and emotion and continuously step out to safeguardFa according to requirement of Li Hongzhi. Therefore, when his old fathersaw his son fall to such status and angrily cursed Li Hongzhi a pest, hesaid such cruel words as "saying more, you will go to hell after you die."Then Yao Wei completely discarded family love and human nature, andregarded Li Hongzhi as someone more intimate than his own parents, hisworship to Li Hongzhi made him lose reason and abandon family love.

Yao Wei says, Falun Gong takes advantage of the disciple's wish ofgetting rid of disease and being healthy, hooks him in a trap, then, furtherallures him by "going up towards Consummation," and then through set-ting relative close environment such as one shouldn't study other schools,but only communicate with disciples of Falun Gong, and should repeated-ly study and Li Hongzhi's other "scriptures," which constantlystrengthen psychological hint so as to realize spiritual control of Dafa dis-ciples. At last Li Hongzhi threatens that leaving Falun Gong would lose ev-erything and return to normal, and betraying Dafa would be demolished bybody and spirit, and therefore the Dafa disciples could only obey and be-come his tool of confronting the state and government.

Now having been completely sobered, Yao Wei said: "I'm going toaccuse, it is Li Hongzhi who has ruined my future, made me lose the mostprecious golden years of my life, caused immeasurable spiritual losses tome and my family, and caused the same injuries to numerous Falun Gongpractitioners like me. He has made a lot of families broken up, ruined anddecimated."

55-year-old Li Bingxiu is a rural woman living in a remote village, eastof Sichuan province . When Falun Gong cult spread like plague all overChina at the beginning of 1990s she was allured by so-claimed "truthful-ness, compassion, tolerance," "going up to the heaven," and particularly,"Consummation," so that she became a victim of the cult. Her heart stillflutters with fear when she recalls that period of obsession, haze and fa-naticism.

Li Bingxiu used to live a stable and quiet life. However, one day inSeptember 1997, occasionally she began to practice Falun Gong and was

attracted by the lie of "no need to take pills when getting ill" and "canbecome a god and Buddha" after "Consummation" advocated in

, she felt an overwhelming urge as if her simple, kind soul sublimedand her desires indefinitely inflated, having affinity with heaven, earth,gods and Buddhas. Then she accepted Falun Gong without considerationand convinced "it is most profound; among all the theories in the world, itis the most intricate and extraordinary science."

From then on, her life was not quiet any more, she had evolved fromoccasionally practice at home to a crazy degree of practice very hard dayand night, led and influenced by her, some weak and sick people often lis-tened to her speech about Falun Gong, and she became a "counsellor."Then she felt intoxicated and joyful and often used the hard-earned mon-ey of the family to print various Falun Gong materials. Regardless objec-tion from family and advice from relatives and friends, she gave up every-thing to cultivate Falun Gong attentively. Encouraged by other practition-ers, she went to Beijing twice to "appeal to the higher authorities," to clari-fy the truth, to protect and rectify the Fa and even took part in illegal activi-ties such as carrying banners on Tian'anmen Square with others.

In July 1999, when Falun Gong was banned by the government, shewas confused intensely. She said who she feared most was Li Hongzhithen, believing he was a "deity," "omnipotent" with "numerous law bodies,"anyone against him could not gain "Consummation" and would be throwninto hells, demolished bodily and spiritually, which was so terrifying,thrillingly.

Later she is completely awakened. After separating from Falun Gong,she doesn't suffer from so-called Karma as the Master said, let alone tobe demolished by body and spirit...nor she has any abnormal reaction...With mixed feelings, contrasting the confronting behaviors of Falun Gongmembers with the government's education and saving, and normal peo-ple's life in the society, Li Bingxiu deeply realizes so-called "Consumma-tion" of Li Hongzhi is cheating, and those Dafa disciples who are tryinghard to be "consummate" to become deity and Buddha are the most

selfish, false and unkind people in society. Many actions they have doneare unreasonable and unkind, they even sell their souls to Li Hongzhi, toFalun Gong, but they felt honorable gloatingly, how foolish they were.

After stepping out of the "abyss," Li Bingxiu becomes open-mindedand modifies bodily and spiritedly. Her 80-year-old mother is so affectedthat her eyes teeming with tears, her husband returns back. She decidesto establish a warm, peaceful and happy family with hard work.

Recalling the past, Li Bingxiu said: "Li Hongzhi's 'Consummation' isnothing more than camouflage ofcheater and the paradise is in this world!"

The 50-year-old man Zhu Tiehua who lives in Baizi town, Rugao city,Jiangsu province wrote a letter to memorize his single son Zhu Zhengfengwho was obsessed to Falun Gong and set himself on fire two years ago:

You were kind-hearted from childhood...After you read ,you were fascinated by "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance," butlost interests in your study gradually. You didn't want the teachers andyour classmates to know what you were doing, so you read ,studied it, or even meditated it under your quilt secretly. At last, they dis-covered your secret. The teachers talked with you, your classmates triedto persuade you. Besides, I was asked to go to the school helping you.However, all we got was the silence from you. Yet when you met your fel-low practitioners, you were always full of energy, talking about "Consum-mation" and "ascension in broad daylight," eager to know whether MasterLi Hongzhi published any new scriptures. We tried everything to cut theconnection between you and Falun Gong, but you still managed to attendthe Fa conferences or Fa study gatherings with others. Your classmatestold us, you looked like a drug-taker every time you came back from these

activities, excited, claiming "the Earth is doomed" and how mighty theMaster was, and you practitioners would soon reach Consummation. Thismade your mother and I extremely worried. But we did not want you toquit school, so we planned to wake you up during the summer vacation.

To cut the connection with Falun Gong, your mother and I decided tochange you by arranging a marriage. We selected two girls for you. Bothof them were nice, and your 180-cm height and handsome face con-quered them, too. But they broke up with you because you could not stoppracticing Falun Gong.

We tried to persuade you thousands of times, talking with you aboutChen Guo who burnt herself at Tian'anmen Square, showing you the pa-thetic end of the Falun Gong addicts. But you smiled coldly, meditatingyour master's scripture, "There is no difference in terms of the realm ofConsummation and the progress towards Consummation 要 whereveryou're supposed to reach Consummation, you're sure to go there." (Thereporter found these words came from Li Hongzhi,

, December 9, 2000) Andthen you told us Chen Guo had entered the Paradise! We were hair-rais-ing by hearing this.

Totally despaired, we sent you to the restriction class, but you didn'tget any better after more than a month there.

You were still dispirited and murmuring all day long. That made ussuspect you got sick. After examination in a hospital, the result confirmedour suspect: you got schizophrenia. Like being struck by lightning, wewere all knocked down.

Sadly, we had to brace ourselves up for the shock. We accompaniedyou all the time, so you could not do anything silly. I tried to talk with you,but you would not have any word with me. You always murmured, "Mom,dad, your son will go to Paradise, but how will you do?"

On January 24, 2006, a day unforgettable in my life...My son, whymust you spill the gasoline of the rice planter on your body and burn your-self when I wasn't at home?

My son, I regret that I have not guarded you properly. However, howcould you cruelly abandon your mother and me? It's too painful that theold is left by the young.

My son, if you could hear my words, I would tell you: It was LiHongzhi who killed you and ruined our family! "Truthfulness, Compassionand Tolerance" turned my dear son into a fool, a puppet, and a corpse atlast! The so-called "Consummation" kept my little son away from humanlove and family affections. It's Li Hongzhi who killed my son and destroyedthe happiness of our family.

My dearest son, your mother and I are missing you so much...

On January 31, 2008, an occasion that all families were joyfully wel-coming the new spring festival, Zhang Yidong passed away at her age of39 with suffering the torment of sickness at her home in Jingjiang, Jiangsuprovince.

When recalling Zhang's life, her elder sister Zhang Yimin felt so re-sentful that she would condemn Falun Gong to the world, the evil cult,damaged her sister's happy life, Li Hongzhi, the cheater, ruined her sis-ter's precious life.

Zhang Yidong worked at Jingjiang General Merchandise PurchaseSupply Station, who had a harmonious family and a lovable daughter, andlived happily. In 1997, Zhang Yidong began to practice Falun Gong bysomeone's introduction, gradually she was obsessed by the so-called"truthfulness, compassion, tolerance," "eliminating karma and diseases,""Consummation and ascension" and heresies advocated by Falun Gong,and then she was enticed into evil abyss step by step. At that time ZhangYidong was deeply obsessed to Falun Gong, copying out Li Hongzhi's

Zhuan Falun for hundreds of times by hand, and the handwritten note-books piled up high. After practicing, she held Falun Gong books all theday neither went to work nor took care of her family, and the only thingshe cared about was her own "Consummation." After the governmentbanned Falun Gong, regardless of dissuasion from family, and her daugh-ter's kneeling down and begging, she went to Beijing to "safeguard Fa" forthree times and was brought back by public security. Thus, she brokehearts of her family and for this reason her husband divorced her. In2003, she fell in love with a man from Zhejiang province, then married himand moved to Zhejiang.

In summer 2007, Zhang Yidong came back her hometown to visit rel-atives, her sister Zhang Yimin saw she was so weak and seemed sick,and advised her to see a doctor, but she turned a deaf ear. In January2008, Zhang Yimin suddenly received a call telling her sister was caughtuterine cancer and sent to hospital for treatment. It was like a bolt fromthe blue, Zhang Yimin and the family hurriedly went to Huzhou PeopleHospital, Zhejiang province . In the hospital, the doctor said her sister'ssickness had already worsened to terminal stage of cancer, complainingwhy not sent the patient to the hospital earlier.

Zhang Yimin was in a very bad mood, asking Yidong why she didn'tsee a doctor earlier. Under strict inquiry of sister, Zhang Yidong told thefact hesitatively. She did not give up Falun Gong in heart, taking for grant-ed the practitioners would not fall ill, even they fell sick, they could get ridof karma and sickness without seeing a doctor.

Zhang Yidong's sick condition rapidly worsened, who was dying afteronly two dozens days. In a severe condition, she was crying and said,"Sister, after I leave the hospital, I wish I could live a normal life."

A former addict of Falun Gong Ma Xiangjin, at age 33 then, lived inCuijiayu town , Qishui county , Shandong province . He used to trustprotection from Li Hongzhi's law bodies to be perfect and ascend toheaven, so that he tried the Fa in order to show the miraculous mighty ofDafa disciple by jumping off the building and broke his right leg whichbecame permanently disabled, and lost normal labor abilities.

In 1998, Ma Xiangjin who was a construction worker in Qingdao wasintroduced to cultivate Falun Gong. After reading Li Hongzhi' s

, he felt the "Law Bodies," "Falun," "salvation" and "Consummation"too miraculous. Li Hongzhi said, "As long as you persevere in cultivation,my Law Bodies will protect you until you reach Consummation." Becauseof this, Ma Xiangjin believed Li Hongzhi's law bodies would protectdisciples at any time. It planted potential crisis for his boldly jumping offthe building later!

From then on, Ma Xiangjin decided to grasp the very rare chance ofcultivation, then advocated Fa through unwilling to sweaty work or worldlyaffairs, delaying to work, ignoring his parents at home completely, and dis-carding his intimate girl friend. When Chinese government banned FalunGong, he thought the government did wrong to Falun Gong and decidedto fight for justice for Li Hongzhi and Falun Gong.

On July 23, 1999, Ma Xiangjin discarded his construction work inQingdao and went back to his hometown Qishui county, then gathered agroup of fellow practitioners to go to Tian'anmen Square holding the ban-ner. Thus, they were deported to hometown due to in breach of laws. Inorder to save him, the local government sent him to the PsychologicalCenter to receive psychological coach. At the center, he had always re-fused to receive the psychological coach, continued to encourage himself

with Li Hongzhi's words, "My Law Bodies will protect the practitioners tillthey reach Consummation," "no matter they were put in jail or lose theirlives by insisting on practicing Dafa, they are all consummating them-selves."

Ma Xiangjin, standing on the 4th-storey balcony of the center, felt hislevel of cultivation was very high, if jumping off, he would have no prob-lem, even he died, which was Consummation. Thus, he wrote a piece ofpaper, with the content that it aimed to let the world see the mighty ofDafa disciple, and had nothing to do with others. He jumped from the4th-storey balcony, fortunately some basked quilt buffered his body, andhe was still fallen to the ground to a pulp!

Unconscious Ma Xiangjin was sent to hospital rapidly for first aidtreatment. When he came around, touching the right leg already of com-minuted fracture, unexpectedly he didn't show a little sorrow. At that timehe thought that was the "hurdle" set by the Master, not to mention humanbody was merely a "stinking skin-bag," so, he still expected the mercifulMaster to bring him to Consummation.

As he believed "eliminating karma" and refused to cooperate with thedoctors, his wound was healed very slowly. Several months later, he wasstill very weak and couldn't stand on right leg, so as to delay the goodchance of recovery, and lead to permanent disability.

A former Falun Gong addict Guo Rong, was an employee of Yan'anCivil Airport, Shaanxi province . In 1996, he and some classmates prac-ticed Falun Gong together. After reading , he was obsessedand regarded Li Hongzhi as the supreme deity and Buddha, and regarded

as a revelation to send human to heaven, regarded practice

"perfectly" to become deity as the supreme pursuit, and regarded "drop-ping out fame, interest and emotion" as critical test, and trapped deeperand deeper in the bog pool of Falun Gong.

Guo Rong, now who has completed awakened, said during his ob-session to Falun Gong, Li Hongzhi's dropping out fame, interest and emo-tion ruined him and allured him do wrong in ten aspects.

Before practicing FalunGong, he was filial, considering their health and comfort, taking good careof them every day. But after practicing, he took no notice of them, letalone to care their living. They said indignantly, "Falun Gong has deprivedus of our son."

When his child fell ill, he thoughthe was "paying back karma," who needn't see a doctor or fear any acci-dent, because his whole life had been arranged in another space.

. Sincehe was convinced of what Li Hongzhi said, he lost all compassion andsaw the plight of beggars as "karma" that they had committed in the previ-ous life, and they ought to suffer to repay the karmic debts. Therefore, heno longer gave them anything or help, believing it was the best for them.

He had been always ready and supportive when the Airport organized do-nation activities, contributing money or other stuff. But since he believed inLi Hongzhi, he became as cold-hearted as Li and thought the victims de-served to the plight which was a divine retribution for their karma commit-ted in the last existence. So he never gave a single dime again whencalled on to make a donation. Not even for the worst floods ever occurredalong Yangtze River and Songhua River in 1998.

Before practicing Falun Gong, he was making efforts to

pass exams for adults to gain a college diploma. He was also workinghard in the hope of getting a promotion to section chief from team leaderthat he had served as for years. But he gave up all those hopes afterpracticing Falun Gong, regarding them as pursuit of fame and material in-terest. He became lethargic and degenerate, clinging to the illusion thathe might become an immortal someday.

. In the Airport, his main duties were firecontrolling and airstrip guarding. He used to be a conscientious employee,but after he started practicing Falun Gong, he shrank from stopping hiscolleagues when they acted in breach of discipline, even though it was in-cumbent upon him as a team leader. He simply thought of such action as"committing karma," which was predestined by god. If he had preventedthem, he would have been "immoral" by violating Falun discipline.

. He was uncon-cerned about the campaign to select model employees through public ap-praisal, and found such things as rendering meritorious service, striving tobe model employee etc., loathsome.

Guo Rong said: "The 'dropping out fame, interest and emotion' trum-peted by Li Hongzhi is indeed a pernicious lie that turned me as hard asnails. And I came within an inch of becoming a good-for-nothing!"

In June 1994, Xiaomei walked to the palace of marriage, a perfectmatch, and happy life. After a daughter was born, Xiaomei felt she be-came fat. Just then she was introduced to Falun Gong, and soon alluredby the fabrication of Li Hongzhi in "After our Falun Dafa stu-dents cultivate a while the way they look changes a lot. Their skin be-comes delicate and fair, it glows with health ...This is all common...you

truly do a dual practice of nature and longevity you'll naturally get that, andI can guarantee you won't need to do facials." She was like obtain thetreasure and would not give up forever.

After a period of cultivation, Xiaomei felt her skin became tender andshine, which strengthened her determination of cultivation. Especiallywhen she knew she could even cultivate herself a deity, she again felt for-tune's favor. From then on, she dared not to be remiss and regarded theMaster Li Hongzhi's words as a decree to strictly follow.

In Li Hongzhi said: "You are unable to practice cultiva-tion if you don't abandon sentiment and desire or don't give up the ordi-nary heart. Right in the midst of ordinary people you have to get rid of ev-ery bit of all those bad thoughts you have, and that's the only way you canimprove and go up. You can only be elevated and go to the Paradise afteryou abandon all affection and desire in the world." He also said in

: "If some-one can break out of affection, then that person is divine." Those wordswere a head-on blow on Xiaomei and plunged her into a tortuous dilem-ma: if she rejected affections from her husband, were they still the cou-ple? If she didn't, she cannot do real cultivation.

When Xiaomei was hesitant, she also read such words of Li's, "The truth is, you're

no longer one of the ordinary human beings, and you couldn't even goback anymore, you really can't. The difference between you and ordinarypeople has grown downright large." Associated with his other words in

about couple's life, "From a high-level perspective, everydaypeople are playing with mud while in society without realizing that it isdirty. They are playing with mud on earth," she was at a loss.

Then, Xiaomei thought she had already be a deity instead of human,how could deities "play" with ordinary person? Moreover, she couldn'tpractice with a heart of "lust." Later in Li Hongzhi's , sheread: "You don't let go of those filthy things that you cling to in this filthyworld, and you even agonize over the most trivial losses. As a matter of

fact, when you agonize over infringements upon your reputation, self-interest, and feelings among everyday people, it already indicates that youcannot let go of ordinary human attachments. You must remember this:Cultivation itself is not painful要 the key lies in your inability to let go of or-dinary human attachments. Only when you are about to let go of your rep-utation, interests, and feelings will you feel pain." Reading this, Xiaomeithought her suffering originated from her attachment, so she did not careher husband's feelings any more and separated with him decisively.

At that time, as a wife Xiaomei felt remorseful and uneasy after all forrejecting her husband to be close to her, especially seeing her husband'sbusy figure inside and outside home, and his blue eyes, many times shewanted to nestle up to his arms with soft smile and enjoy his care. But LiHongzhi's "cultivating the heart, severing desires, discarding attachments,""What do the old forces and the old cosmos see as the gravest thing?Lust...In other words, these things are extremely serious to them. So theold forces and all of the gods in that cosmos will not defend anyone whoviolates the prohibition on this, anyone who doesn't do well in this regard;in fact they will push you downwards," and the collection of papers inMinghui , which made Xiaomei"enlightened" suddenly, if she didn't set down lust and desire, it would besure to influence cultivation and even be caught into hell and never e-merge. Therefore Xiaomei told herself should give up the temptation oflust thoroughly instead of cooking up excuses and should completely dis-enchant her balk but the considerate husband was so alluring.

As a result, in order to mortify the desire, Xiaomei selected to runaway from home.

Xiaomei who was an apple of her parents' eye from childhood, andafter marriage, was coddled by husband, so that she was too dependentto feel helpless when she was alone outside. She couldn't cook a deliciousdish. Soon Xiaomei followed a male practitioner, as co-cultivators, theydidn't guard or care anything. The male practitioner helped her to rent ahouse near his, except sleep, and they stay together for cultivation, eating

and speading the Fa. Xiaomei lived an appearing happy life because sheneedn't be baffled by her husband's love. However, in the deep night,singly lying in the lone house, she was somewhat fearful, and what's morewas missing, missing her clement and considerate husband, missingcheerful, loving daughter. However, such words of Li Hongzhi as "Thosewho are attached to affection for family will definitely be burned, entan-gled, and tormented by it. Pulled by the threads of affection and plaguedby them throughout their lives, they will find it too late to regret at the endof their lives," and "If this sentimentality is not relinquished, you will be un-able to practice" always hindered her way to go back home. A few dayslater, their money was running out, the practitioner proposed to share onehouse to reduce the house rent charge. Then they lived together for nearlythree months.

One day, the practitioner said solemnly: "let's begin double cultiva-tion, so that will shorten the time to reach Consummation." Before Xi-aomei could respond, he read the narration of Li Hongzhi in :"In the community of cultivators, there is a cultivation practice called dou-ble cultivation of a man and a woman. It is for collecting to supplement

and vice versa with mutual complement for mutual cultivation, en-abling the goal of balancing and to be achieved. Because a hu-man body inherently has and , with the interactions of and

, it can itself achieve a balance of and ," "We've discoveredthat nowadays a lot of men have female master souls, while a lot of wom-en have male master souls. That fits exactly with the celestial phe-nomenon in which the and are reversed, where is prosperingand is in decline, as Taoists put it." And "When conjoining the hands,the left hand is on top for males, while the right hand is on top for females.Why is that? It's because the male body is one of pure and the fe-male body is one of pure . In order to attain a balance of and ,males should suppress the and give play to the , while femalesshould suppress the yin and give play to the ," also saying "Buddhahas no thought, and Buddhas are all stark-naked," Xiaomei felt muddled.

Xiaomei left home for the purpose of asceticism, but now she wasasked for "double cultivation of a man and a woman." Xiaomei was con-fused so that she rejected him. The practitioner seemed to read Xiaomei'sthought, then persuaded her: "We are both cultivator, not 'ordinary peo-ple', 'ordinary people' are dirty to do this but we are double cultivated forConsummation, we are great." Afterwards he told her the story of Dafadisciples' group cultivation in some place saying they elevated very fast af-ter that.

Aiming for "Consummation," Xiaomei discarded all thoughts and fi-nally agreed to conduct "double cultivation" with him...

"I want to shout, Li Hongzhi, you are a big swindler, hurriedly tidy upyour cheating jugglery, and hurt no one any more!"

The man who shouted such bitter words was Wang Jindong whoused to be obsessed by Li Hongzhi and the cult Falun Gong.

In that year under the enchantment and allurement of Li Hongzhi andFalun Gong, Wang and other partners organized, planned, instigated andhelped Falun Gong cultivators to fabricate the appalling self-burning eventat Tian'anmen Square.

Now, Wang Jindong has made out the true colors of Li Hongzhi andFalun Gong.

In Zhengzhou Prison, Wang Jindong remorsefully told the reporterthat in October 1996, an evil cult enveloped by flowery words sidled up tohim, ruthlessly tore up all dreams of his family, which was the blood guiltyevil cult Falun Gong. At that time his intimate friend Xue Hongjun who wasobsessed by Falun Gong's absurd ideas coming back to Zhengzhou to"propagate the Fa" agitated Wang to join in for improving health.

Wang Jindong recalled after he was obsessed by Falun Gong, hespent half a month to read through , then he kept onpracticing half an hour to one hour every morning and evening under theguidance of other friend. At the beginning, Wang Jindong practiced athome. In 1998, Li Hongzhi issued scriptures to require "Dafa disciples" topractice at the practice stations, and therefore Wang Jindong began tocontact "co-practitioners." Gradually, under the guidance of scriptures,they began to gradually "go up." Among them, Wang Jindong wascomplimented "highly enlightened" by the group many times for he hadsurprising discoveries.

Along with continuously "going up," Wang Jindong began to "spreadthe Fa" to his family members, then the only 16-year-old daughter WangJuan began to contact from the 4th day of her father's "ob-taining of Fa." Two years later, his wife He Haihua began to cultivateFalun Gong too. Afterwards, the whole family would practice Falun Gongevery morning and evening.

Under the control of so-called "the practicing course is the process ofremoving ordinary people's attachment," this admirable family began toremove from normal life and to be gradually enslaved to the spiritual con-trol of Falun Gong.

He Haihua said she liked to watch TV, but Wang Jindong who wasconvinced by Li Hongzhi's instigation that "your time is running out, be dili-gent in cultivation," kept her from watching TV. She liked reading maga-zines, but Wang Jindong said: "Why don't read Dafa." Even her favoritered pepper was given up as "attachment."

Before contacting Falun Gong, cheerful Wang Juan loved singing andfacial care. Afterwards, her father required her to let go these "attach-ments." Therefore, she tried her best to constrain herself, "dare not laugh,and dare not sing."

Wang Juan had prominent remarks of Japanese during her study inKaifeng University, the teacher had conducted the procedure for her tostudy abroad. However, Wang Juan feared it would impair "cultivation"

and firmly rejected, which was supported by her father.He Jinju, He Haihua's young sister still remembers at the beginning of

their business, Wang Jindong was ambitiously, ready to run anotherbranch, and to buy a car in three years. After being obsessed to FalunGong, in order to go through the "gate of money," the couple Wang Jin-dong and He Haihua always sat outside the shop, and when some cus-tomer came to buy something, they would say "no one is in the shop."

Under the spiritual control of Falun Gong, the whole family was in-creasingly obsessed. Wang Jindong said in August 2000, Li Hongzhi con-tinued to distribute reactive scriptures such as

, mobilizing the practitioners "let go of all worldly attachments." Themost influence to them was that Li Hongzhi claimed in a scripture "cultiva-tion is for Consummation, now it is time to consummate, but you remainmotionless, I'd like to see what you will do?" Thus, Wang Jindong andsome addicts began to idolize "Consummation."

Then, another Falun Gong addict Liu Yunfang lost no time in claimingthe scene of "ascension in broad daylight" of the immolators who setthemselves on fire at Tian'anmen Square he saw during his "cultivating."

On January 23, 2001, under the repeated instigation of Li Hongzhi's"eliminating the last attachment," Wang Jindong et al who were obsessedin the sweet dream of "ascension," "Consummation," finally made theworld-shocking self-immolation tragedy, and led to the serious result oftwo dead and three grievous injured.

Wang Jindong, a chilling reminder of the sharp pain, more clearly re-alized the blackness of Li Hongzhi and wickedness of Falun Gong. Hewrote in the article named : "Li Hongzhitakes advantage of people's simplistic idea of keeping healthy, to bewitchpeople to step into the trap of Falun Gong's 'ascension' and 'Consumma-tion' by fallacy of doomsday. He grasps disciples' great attachment to'Consummation,' using the avalanche of 'teaching the Fa' and scripturesto urge disciples' to step out of 'their own traps.' I went up the blind alley ofself-burning by believing his rumor, and became a criminal. But till today,

Li Hongzhi also encourages 'disciples' to step out. The fact has beenproved that these so-called 'disciples' are just a card in his hand and agame he playing with, to bring shame to motherland."

Wang Jindong also questioned Li Hongzhi: "You let 'disciples' stepout to achieve so-claimed 'Consummation,' therefore you issued continu-ously 'scriptures, teaching the Fa and explaining the Fa.' Is your 'Consum-mation" just suicide and homicide, just in the teeth of the government?You said you cherished us more than ourselves, but why you remain stu-porous to more than 1,700 victims who lost their lives by practicing FalunGong?"

Wang Jindong has called on the people who are still obsessed byFalun Gong today that: "Wake up, don't regret after great suffering like us,thus the price is too big! Li Hongzhi's 'Consummation' is nothing but agreat lie!"

On April 22, 2002, Guan Shuyun, in order to realize "Consummation,""ascension," executed so-called "dispelling devils," in face of dozens ofFalun Gong practitioners, strangled Dai Nan, her less than 9-year-olddaughter!

Guan Shuyun began to cultivate Falun Gong since April 1997. In July2000, she was reeducated through labor for participating in illegal activi-ties, then was released in advance in February 2001. After returninghome, she didn't forget "cultivation of heart," still often communicated herexperience with other cultivators and expected early "Consummation."Therefore, she had dispelled devils three times for "ascension."

On April 18, 2002, Guan Shuyun furtively told Falun Gong membersRen Lan and the couple Zhang Yanmin and Wang Zhilin: "Recently I have

learnt some new knowledge and feeling and want to share with you."Zhang Yanmin et al called Falun Gong members in other places respec-tively. From the afternoon of April 19 to 22, about 40 people came from Ji-amusi, Jixi, Suihua and other regions in Heilongjiang province. They ateand lived in Guan's house, including 4 children at age 10 and more alongwith their parents.

On April 20, Guan Shuyun let her good friend, former Falun Gongmember Li Fengling go to Guan's home with her daughter and wear thesports suit they bought together. When they arrived there, Guan Shuyunwas huffish that Li Fengling didn't wear white shoes and her leather shoeswere to fashionable, then let Li go home and exchange shoes at once. LiFengling's 15-year-old daughter pulled caps with her joylessly. Thus,Guan Shuyun deemed that Li Fengling's daughter had very strong "de-mon qi" and should "dispel demon" for her. Then Guan ordered other peo-ple to slap the girl in the face. Li's daughter was disobedient shouting "youpeople are most inhuman." Guan Shuyun said, "Listen, this is a 'devil' talk-ing." Then she rode on her, striking her face and pinching her throat. LiFengling's daughter angrily said: "You may kill me. I will let the wholeworld know how cruel you are after I die. How inhuman you are." LiFengling and her daughter held a chance to escape when some otherFalun Gong members reached there.

At 10 pm, on the evening of April 21, Guan Shuyun awoke all peoplein her family and said "devils" were coming over, only she could demolishthem. She let other people sit around her to form a "field" for assisting herto "expel monsters and devils." Guan Shuyun formed her two hands into aring, hinting other persons surround her to choke her by neck. Meanwhile,people shouted "kill," "kill," and "kill all evil things." One hour or so later,Guan Shuyun drank a big glass of water, then spit continuously, saying "adevil" had been sucked out by her, melted into water and died. "Now I amthe Master, you all kneel down!" Shouted Guan Shuyun, more than 40people in the room knelt down, some of them even devoutly placed thehands together and grovelled. At dawn, Guan Shuyun thought again an-

other person on the bed had "a devil" in body that was the dead devil's fel-low apprentice, then the history of "dispelling devils" re-acted.

Around 7 am on April 22, after awakened, Guan Shuyun didn't let herdaughter Dai Nan go to school, and told others her own daughter was alsopossessed by "a devil," if not expel, it would leave a lot of trouble. GuanShuyun let Ren Lan hug Dai Nan on the bed, and hugged her in a quilt,sharply interrogated: "Who on earth are you? Where are you from? Howmany evil things have you done? How many people have you injured?"Dai Nan horribly said: "I am Nannan, I am not a devil, and I am a real hu-man!" Guan Shuyun thought it was demon's feint to cheat people, then hitDai Nan in the face. Then she let several people to ask what on earthNannan was, and beat her. "Uncle, aunt, please don't beat me, let me go,I am a true human!" Dai Nan continuously begged. Guan Shuyun startedto pinch Dai Nan's neck with no word. Dai Nan kicked legs and painfullystruggled, but Guan Shuyun pressed her by leg, and let Wang Zhilin andother people come to press down the quilt on Dai Nan's body to preventher from struggling. Dai Nan helplessly said: "I am human, I am not a de-mon, truly I am Dai Nan, you are killing me, you are criminal." GuanShuyun told people it was again "devil's" talking, and then she put forth allstrength to tighten little Dai's neck. During the time, at scene some kneltdown, some closed hands and prayed to kill the "devil" as soon as possi-ble, some were afraid the "devil" ran to their bodies and hid in the cornerafar, and other people glared with empty eyes. No one was aware howlong it had past, and Dai Nan was black in face like a log. Some one want-ed to see how Dai Nan was but were all prevented by Guan Shuyun, whosaid: "Don't move the child, or 'demon' would run away, and we would notgo ascension."

How could a mother who loved her child so deeply while killed herdaughter? Guan Shuyun said: "My daughter was possessed by 'devil' todestroy Dafa, and it had entered her body in a flash. Once my daughterwas dead, the 'devil' was also killed." She undisguisedly talked about thewhole course killing her daughter: "I hugged Dai Nan in quilt, kept her

from moving, and then I strangled her violently. She shouted 'mommy,please don't strangle me', and asked Aunt Ren (Ren Lan) for help. I toldthem it was none of your business. I pinched her so tightly that her faceturned to purple. I was hesitant with tender-heart at that time 要 if I killedher, I would have no daughter, but if not, the devil would be harmful to thewhole world. At last, I strangled her to death with cruel-hearted."

Cui Qiaoyun was a retired worker in Kaifeng city , Henan province ,who used to be obsessed to Falun Gong. In1995, she and other severalpeople set up a Falun Gong study group and exchanged experience witheach other to increasingly strengthen their determination of practicingFalun Gong. At that time, ascension following the Master Li Hongzhi wasthe dream of all Falun Gong members, including Cui Qiaoyun.

Under the inspiring of heretical ideas of Falun Gong, Cui Qiaoyun etal gradually separated from the ordinary people's life orbit and becamedifferent. They often posed as cultivators, seeing people in the society stillbuying houses, doing business and busy working, they felt funny. As theywere convinced Li Hongzhi's words 'the earth would be destroyed," theythought the celestial phenomena would appear and in future in a flashnothing would be left. People still spent money and energy to establishbuildings, to study useless things, to study things based on error, how fun-ny it was.

Before Double Ninth Festival, Falun Gong members in Kaifeng con-veyed a "scripture" scrip of "stepping out and watch celestial phenomena."Cui and her co-practitioners gathered and discussed for several days,imaging if the Master Li Hongzhi came, how would he summon them, howwould he appear in the sky, whether he would be able to name his pious

disciples, how could they follow him to leave? They were so excited as ifthey were about to complete the cultivation and achieve Consummation,and they would go to the paradise with "the Master." They even started toarrange for the things behind them, making arrangements for the family,and said farewells to relatives in the mind. Later someone said the ninthday of the ninth month of lunar calendar is also called the height ascend-ing festival, which means that it's time for leaving.

On the afternoon of the height ascending festival, Cui Qiaoyun wentto supermarket and bought a lot of things, including clothes of differentseasons for daughter, quilts and winter clothes for parents, spending allthe money in her pocket. Returning home, she gathered the family mem-bers to have supper, in her mind, which was the last supper. At midnightshe came to the lakeside of Longting Lake, and found many familiar orunfamiliar Falun Gong practitioners. Cui Qiaoyun went to an insignificantcorner, singly sitting at Longting Lake, silently watching the most beautifulplace of the ancient city Kaifeng, with no mood to appreciate the sceneryleft more than 1,000 years. In her mind, there was merely delight and im-pulse of waiting for the master. The minutes slipped by. An hour later, itwas already in the dead of night. Why the Master Li didn't show up! Look-ing around, she saw clusters of fellow practitioners everywhere, waiting,some of them holding kids in their arms. Everyone was waiting for thechange in the image of heaven. Nothing happened till 2 o'clock. Then apractitioner said it maybe a test of "the Master." Others agreed, and theyscattered in droves. No one dared to doubt it was false, because doubtwould generate "karma."

Thus, a "feat of ascension" passed off in its own time.When sobered up, Cui Xiaoyun said: "Infused with the theories of

Falun Gong, we had lost the capacity of individual thinking and had be-come mindless puppets. Now I realize that the so-called 'ascension inbroad daylight' was a sheer trick. If Li Hongzhi were really such a rare'Buddha' rare to see in a thousand years, if he could go 'ascension,' hewould not have to hide in USA to eke out a living. So many years have

passed, but is there ever a Dafa practitioner ascension in daylight?"

On the first New Year's Eve of the new century, under the bewitch-ment of heresies "let go off life and death," "ascension," "Consummation,"several Falun Gong addicts played an appealing self-immolation tragedyat Tian'anmen Square.

Around 2001, among Falun Gong addicts in Kaifeng city , Henanprovince , a quirky story of an advanced "Dafa disciple" was spread: Heclaimed he "had opened his third eye," capable of seeing "existing modesof life and material in another space"; he also claimed himself one of the"top ten advanced disciples" of Li Hongzhi. The leading role of the absurdstory was Falun Gong member Liu Yunfang, the direct organizer of theself-burning event at Tian'anmen Square.

Liu Yunfang, a former worker of a factory in Kaifeng, made a life onrepairing electrical appliance and taking odd jobs in recent years. Since1997, he was obsessed by Falun Gong. Liu Yunfang put his entire mind toworship the Master Li Hongzhi by the heresies, and made up imaginarybalderdash. Liu often showed off he was summoned by the Master per-sonally, and enlightened the essence of "Dafa." Falun Gong practitionerssurrounding him were captivated by hearing these and they are proud ofclosing to Liu Yunfang.

During May and June 2000, Li Hongzhi continuously issued many"scriptures," stirring up deeply obsessed cultivators "to step out underpressure." In the "scripture" , Li Hongzhi said onecan be "towards Consummation" by "truly merging the whole life with Fa."

In May, Liu Yunfang excitedly said to Falun Gong addicts Wang Jin-dong, Hao Huijun, Xue Hongjun and other addicts in Kaifeng: "I have real-ized 'Consummation.' 'Consummation' means giving up everything. After'Consummation,' human can gain ascension in broad daylight directly en-ter the paradise." His balderdash was recorded by Wang Jindong'sdaughter Wang Juan and handed out.

Since August, 2000, Li Hongzhi issued the "scripture", claiming "now it is the last chance of cultivation and ob-

taining the Fa," and it is "the deadline of true Consummation," agitatingthe addicts to "obtain a true fruition" at the turn of the century.

Liu Yunfang's "level" of "enlightenment" continued to ascend. Soonafter, Liu Yunfang suddenly uncannily claimed, "I entered some conditionduring my practice, and realized my 'master soul' set himself on fire atTian'anmen Square in Beijing, after being on fire, my 'Buddha body' ap-peared with flame spurting out of my mouth, in a flash, it was resplendent."Liu Yunfang told such balderdash to butter-tonsiled practitioner XueHongjun, and Xue at once spiced it up among Falun Gong cultivators.

Induced by continuously "going up to higher level" of Li Hongzhi,Wang Jindong also followed closely. In the last 10-day of December 2000,he publicly claimed he was also "enlightened" that "Consummation" couldnot be realized without executing the highest form of self-burning atTian'anmen Square.

On January 10, 2001, Liu Yunfang, Wang Jindong, Xue Hongjun,Hao Huijun and the like again gathered and vied with each other to ex-press they had gone up to a higher "level." They all expressed they wouldgo to Tian'anmen Square in Beijing to burn themselves for "Consumma-tion" on the eve of Spring Festival January 23.

According to management, Liu Yunfang and Wang Jindong respec-tively informed Falun Gong addicts Liu Baorong and Liu Chunling; HaoHuijun called her daughter Chen Guo who studied in Beijing and was ob-sessed to Falun Gong likewise, and mobilized her to go "Consummation"together.

According to hint of "scriptures" of Li Hongzhi, Liu Yunfang, WangJindong et al were busy preparing. Wang Jindong claimed, "It's better touse petrol for self-burning."

On January 14, 2001, Liu Chunling spent 1,800 yuan buying 6 traintickets of No. 1488 Zhengzhou-Beijing, 1,000 yuan from Hao Huijun and800 Yuan from Wang Jindong. After taking the tickets, Hao Huijun en-gaged with Chen Guo to gather at the bus station near Central Conserva-tory of Music at 8 am on January 17.

On January 16, Liu Yunfang, Wang Jindong, Hao Huijun, LiuBaorong, and 12-year-old Liu Siying and her mother Liu Chunling got onNo. 1488 train. When the train started up, Xue Hongjun who was seeingthem off promised with them: "See in the paradise."

Around 5 am the next day, they arrived in Beijing and met with ChenGuo directly. They resided in an apartment in No. 18 Building, Chengziwest street, Mentougou district by three batches under arrangement ofFalun Gong members in Beijing.

On the mornings of January 18 and 20, Wang Jindong and Liu Yun-fang took taxi to "Tianchangxuan" Arts & Crafts Store in Xinhua street,Xuanwu district to buy long plastic bag enveloping painted scroll for use ofloading petrol. Meanwhile they also handed out two blades to cut plasticbag and lighters to every person. The two also came to Tian'anmenSquare to observe the situation.

Even in the hurry-scurry preparation period, these addicts still intoxi-catedly communicated the "wonderful experience" after entering "par-adise." Liu Yunfang said to Liu Siying: "Paradise is abundant in gold"; andtold her: "Your current mommy is not your true mommy, and your truemommy is in the paradise."

Liu Yunfang and Wang Jindong also told their idea of self-immolationfor "Consummation" to Liu Xiuqin, a Shougang staffer, who was same ob-sessed to Falun Gong. Liu Xiuqin was very excited and gladly provided aroom for them to fill in the petrol.

At 8 am on January 22, Liu Yunfang, Wang Jindong bought 40 litrespetrol and filled in more than 10 one-meter-long plastic bags in the roomoffered by Liu Xiuqin, and promised to "take the petrol bags to executeself-immolation at Tian'anmen Square on the morning of January 23."

Liu Xiuqin felt horrified seeing the plastic bags giving off smell of pun-gent petrol. At night, she poured petrol back into the can. At 8 am nextday, when Liu Yunfang, Wang Jindong totally 7 people came to fetch thepatrol bags, Liu Xiuqin lied that "the plastic bags are aleak." Then LiuBaorong suggested: "Let's fill by Sprite bottles." All agreed with her.

Liu Xiuqin immediately went to supermarket to buy a box of Sprite,and then filled petrol into 14 Sprite bottles. In order not to arise notice, LiuXiuqin sprayed perfume to every one. They finally determined to startself-immolation at Tian'anmen Square at 2:30 pm.

The seven addicts were singularly excited and shook hands, blessing"see in the paradise!" They left more than 5,000 Yuan, ID cards, clothesthey carried totally to Liu Xiuqin. Hao Huijun and her daughter Chen Guo,and mother and daughter Liu Chunling who were eager for "ascension"hurriedly took a taxi to rash to Tian'anmen Square, so they had disap-peared when Liu Yunfang, Wang Jindong and Liu Baorong went down.

After the four mothers and daughters arrived at Tian'anmen Square,first they went to a toilet nearby History Museum and poured petrol onbody, and then they came to the north of the Monument to the People'sHeroes. More than 10 minutes later, Liu Yunfang, Wang Jindong et alcame to the west of Tian'anmen Square by taxi too. Soon after, a stupidand mad tragedy happened with flames and smoke hoisting...

Liu Yunfang, who always posed as "advanced Falun Dafa disciple"and directly planned the self-immolation event at Tian'anmen Square,didn't burn himself for "Consummation" on that day as promised, more-over, there wasn't a drop of petrol poured on him. Liu Yunfang had agitat-ed other addicts to risk in pursuit of "Consummation" and "going up tohigher level," but in the end, he excused himself lightly by a few of words:

"I didn't set myself on fire because 'the Master' wanted me to remain totalk by my mouth."

Then the report continued to ask: "Why didn't you tell Hao Huijun andother people in advance?" He answered, "They have higher 'mind' than I,and they have truly 'Consummated' by self-burning. My level is inferior, sothat I give up the idea of self-immolation."

Another planner Xue Hongjun at last uttered his inner voice in the de-tention house. He said: "'Consummation' is a soap bubble, to woozy peo-ple which is a beautiful dream, but to the sober, a nightmare."

The self-immolation participant Liu Baorong said: "'Consummation'means 'going up to the heavenly paradise,' which is a very good thing andwill happen instantly, without any pain... (The heavenly paradise is) cov-ered by gold, the roads are covered by gold, the birds are made of gold,everything are made of gold including human bodies."

Although the tragedy has passed more than 30 days, when the reporttalked about the scene of pouring petrol before self-immolation with LiuSiying, covered in bandages, Liu Siying still retched by conditional reflex.

"On the day of January 15, mommy said an idea of self-burning for'Consummation' suddenly occurred in her mind. Mommy asked if I dared.I said if you went away, whom I could live with. I could only live with you,and I was your little tail." Then Liu Siying choked with sobs.

① Minghui is an important site subject to Falun Gong organization, Li Hongzhi stressed re-gard the attitude of Minghui for important issues, and the website: http//www.minghui.org/

Among Falun Gong cultivators many supernatural stories arewidespread, e.g. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong, once stroke ahumpbacked man five times on the back to make him straightened, and acultivator recovered from the end-stage uremia by meditating the scrip-tures... These stories seem absurd and incredible in the eye of ordinarypeople, but Falun Gong addicts make no doubt and regard them as "mira-cles."

Falun Gong has made up these "miracles" mainly for two purposes:first, it is the important means for Li Hongzhi to implement spiritual controlcultivators. Li Hongzhi would like the Falun Gong practitioners to worshipon him and his cult through disseminating these miraculous stories; sec-ond, he also uses these to menace and threat the people who disapproveof Falun Gong and have doubt to it.

There are two main types of the story makers: the first one is LiHongzhi himself, he intending to show his omnipotence as Falun Gong ini-tiator; the second one is Falun Gong members, they do it for showing theirpractice of Falun Gong has been up to a high level.

There are two main transmission channels of these stories: the seniorchannel includes Li Hongzhi's "scriptures" and Minghui①; the junior one isthe Fa meetings held by Falun Gong members.

playing hide-and-seek with little friends, as long as he was thinking "let no-body see me" then no one could find him, even shone by flashlight at hisface. He could easily dig out a long, rusty and crooked spike in wood byfinger. In winter, the water pipes were frozen, when he hooked the pipesby hand, they would be curved. Even he didn't know the reason. When hewas playing with little friends in snow, he would jump into the sky whenrunning and jumping. If two kids were going to fight, as long as he took itin mind that one of them didn't go through, it came to ture. When he stud-ied in his fourth grade, one day he forgot to take the bag after school, thenhe returned to fetch the bag, but the classroom door was locked and win-dows were closed, then an idea occurred to his mind that if only he couldcome in, and then suddenly he found he was in the classroom. He thoughtit again, and came out, even he himself also found it very magical. Oncehe wondered what it would feel like by staying among the glasses. As hethought, he was amist a window, at once he felt his head teemed withfragment of glass. "It was terrible, I'd better go out." As he thought, hewent out again. At that time he didn't know what function it was and took itfor granted that everyone could be the same so that he didn't take it inmind.①

"Now supernatural power of Mr. Li has reached very high level, someof them are unimaginable and unintelligibly to ordinary people. Oneevening in July 1990, he and several disciples were practicing at a court-yard in Beijing. Soon black clouds filled the sky, followed by lightingflashed and thunder rolled, just like overhead. Disciples lost their calm-ness somewhat. According to most requirements for practicing, suchweather was improper. But they saw the Master was crossing legs and sit-ting on a big stone as stable as a mountain, without a little meaning of wa-ver or retreat. Disciples followed and continued to practice, it was strangealthough the black clouds were stronger and lower, thunder was rolling inthe sky one by one it didn't rain. After the practicing, the master calmly

told his disciples: "It wouldn't rain in half an hour. You could be relieved togo home." As a disciple lived in Xicheng district, it would take him half anhour to go home. When he just stepped into the door of his home, it be-gan to rain cats and dogs if heavens dripped. There are a lot of supernat-ural stories about Mr. Li Hongzhi, which are unbelievable to ordinary peo-ple, and we would not narrate more in this text.

"After dozens of years of hard cultivation, Mr. Li Hongzhi not onlyreaches very high level of Gong, what's more important is he sees thetruth of universe, more and nicer existence in universe, and sees the ori-gin, evolution and future of human being."①

I was teaching a class, a person came, saying his Shiye (The Master'sMaster) would like to see me, and his Shiye was so-and-so who had prac-ticed for many, many years. I saw this man had strong Yin Qi, very bad,and his face looked sallow. I said that I would not see him, I had no time,and I declined. As a result, the old man was unhappy and began to maketrouble and bothered me every day. I'd not like to fight with him, and itwasn't worth fighting with him. I cleared up the bad things he brought tome, and imparted my Fa after clearing.

In the history there was a Dao practitioners in Ming dynasty, whichwas possessed by snake, later he was died without success, and thesnake possessed his body and cultivated into a human shape. The Mas-ter's Master of that man was the human shape of the snake. It againtransformed to a big snake to bother me due to his true nature. I saw itwas so monkeyish, I grasped it in one hand and use very strong Gongcalled Dissolving Gong and dissolved its lower half of body into water, andits upper half of body ran away.

One day, his Tusun (the disciple's disciple) visited the head ofGuizhou assistance center saying his Shiye would like to see her. Shewent, and when she entered the hole, it was dark and she was out of sightbut a shadow sitting there with eyes shining green light, and it lit up whenhe opened his eyeholes, when he closed eyeholes, it was dark. He spokea jargon: "Li Hongzhi would come again, this time we would not do thatthing. I'm wrong, Li Hongzhi come to save people." His Tusun asked:"Shiye, please stand up, what's wrong of your legs?"He said, "I can't standup, my legs get injured." Then he was asked how he was injured. He be-gan to tell the course he bothered me. In 1993 Beijing Oriental Health Ex-po he made trouble again. Because he always did wicked things, and in-fringed me from imparting Dafa, I destroyed him completely.①

yond Triple-World-Law cultivation, an eye that's like a compound eye ap-pears. To be more specific, a large eye develops over the whole top halfof his face, and there are countless small eyes in it. Some Great Enlight-ened Beings at really high levels have cultivated an incredible number ofeyes, and they're all over their faces. All of their eyes see out of that onelarge eye, they can see whatever they want to, and when they look theysee all levels at once. Nowadays zoologists and entomologists study flies.They've seen that a fly's eyes are big, and that under a microscope theyhave countless small eyes in them. They call that a compound eye. Whenyou get to a really high level that cultivation state might appear, but youhave to be way higher than a Tathagata to have that happen.②

Everyone who knows how to operate a computer has been registered(by alien beings). Of course, our students don't have this problem. Onceyou obtain the Fa, I clean up that layer of your body that's been occupiedby them. They have formed a layer of their body within the human body.It's incredibly frightening! Everything people learn from elementary schoolright up through college is the science they brought, and everything thathuman beings use nowadays is the product of this omnipresent science.Why do the inspirations people get make computers and technology de-velop with such tremendous speed? It's done by that layer of the body thatalien beings formed so as to control the human race. It's exactly becausethat system of their technology and science that has formed in the humanbody is making people's minds do so. Today it's incredible how developedcomputers are. But it is not a human technology. Man will be replaced byalien beings if it continues like this for long.②

Nomatter which country you're in, you were first Chinese on this earth, be-cause your first incarnation was there. Having said this much, I need totell you that the form and the inner meaning of China as a country actuallydon't exist. Are you shocked by what I just said? Actually, Chinese culturewas left behind by all the world's people in different dynasties; and thesepeople reincarnated in other regions after they formed a karmic relation-ship. For example, today's Americans were people of the Great Ming dy-nasty. Today's Americans like Daoism a lot and still demonstrate the val-ues of that time. Back when Daoism reached its height of popularity in theMing dynasty, in some cities almost every family had a crucible set up inthe home. England was the Great Tang, France was the Great Qing, Italywas the Yuan, Australia was the Xia, Russia was the Zhou, Sweden wasthe Northern Song, Taiwan was the Southern Song, and Japan was theSui. In those times, people from each dynasty left China and reincarnatedto places that didn't have the countries that are there now 要 they werestill rugged wilderness. So most people reincarnated all over the world in ascattered way, and only returned to their places in recent times. Peoplefrom one dynasty went one place, while people from another dynasty wentto another place要 that's how it went.①

An Zeru, who claimed himself as a retired cadre from Beijing No.6Construction Company presented how his disease of liver was cured by LiHongzhi in his communication article

. He said in the article that in 1998 hediscovered a lump in his liver in a physical examination, according to thedoctor's diagnosis: the size of hepatic cyst is 4.7 cm Х 4.7 cm. In Decem-ber, 1994, when Li Hongzhi taught a class in Guangzhou province , AnZeru went to listen to the course for special purpose. On the 3rd day, LiHongzhi told all audience to stand up and he would purify their bodies. LiHongzhi said you should pay attention to the sick point in your body, sothat old An focused on thinking of the cyst in his liver. Li Hongzhi said: Iwill shout one, two, when I'm shouting two, you stamp your left foot. Whenthey were stamping the left foot, Li waved his hand, and everyone fol-lowed him. Then old An felt his liver was appreciably cool, and relaxed. Hethought Li Hongzhi was good. After that he wrote this article.①

Soon after the article was released, old An felt his liver was un-comfortable and went to the No. 6 Construction Staff Hospital to take an-other examine. The X-ray displayed the former cyst in liver still existedand became bigger, 5.9cmХ5.9cm, enveloping the whole left lobe of liver.

An old woman Wu Chuanli was 90 degree humpbacked for manyyears. Thus, she was difficult to walk, saying nothing of respiration, andher face was so swollen that nearly can't open her eyes. But she madegreat progress by practicing Falun Dafa and kept on practicing regardlessof freezing weather. Her humpback miraculously straightened after onlyone month.①

Wu Chuanli's husband sneered at this material, thinking it wasnonsense, completely cooked up. He reveal that after practicing FalunGong, Wu Chuanli's humpback became more serious instead of cured, atlast she died from cerebral haemorrhage.

After emergencytreatment, examination and assayed, he was diagnosed as end-stage ure-mia, and determined as high-risk patient, in danger of death at any time.His mommy was a Falun Dafa disciple, who raised his son, meditating theteachings and sending righteous thoughts, begging the Master for givinganother chance to her son. Her son came to life, meditating the Fa alongwith her, begging for another chance. Then she went on meditating ,Scriptures and . After she had meditated "really leading peo-ple up to higher level," a miracle occurred that he fell into asleep, stoppinggasping without inserting an oxygen hose. He slept dreamlessly for morethan an hour. The nurse came to draw his blood and he was awaked then.After that, he got up, used the toilet, and paced up and down in the corri-dor with erect back. Then he went down the stairs to test type-B ultrasonicand ECG."①

It is recognized by the medical circle that end-stage uremia canbe cured only by blood dialysis or renal transplantation. Currently themedical circle has not found a therapy for curing uremia. Falun Gong dis-ciples could make a dying person completely recovered "within more than

an hour" by meditating scriptures and sending righteous thoughts, whichis not scientific therapy at all.

When I heard of it, I visited her home telling the Dafa truth and the-ory. Then I gave her after she understood it. She read it inthat evening...After she cultivated Dafa for more than two months, shetold me the lump disappeared, when she went to the hospital to test, thecancer healed. The doctor was surprised, then asked what medicine shehad taken, she told the doctor frankly Falun Dafa saved her and the Mas-ter Li Hongzhi give her a new life."①

The couple hurriedly consented. Af-ter a few days later, I called to inquire the child's condition, the father said:'Sister, it is so wizardly, she only transfused several days, and the hospitalsuddenly announced she don't have to be operated, and the test shownthe hurt eye was recovered, and the sight was even better that the other.'"①

In the next morning, a group of doc-tors and nurses came to check and a miracle appeared, the doctor ex-claimed: 'The baby's hydrocephalus vanished, and all recovered to nor-mal!'...Suddenly I realized it was the Master who saved the baby, and theman I dreamed at night was the Master! Because I am a Dafa disciple,one practices and the whole family will benefit, so that great Master is pro-

It includes free from injury, death in case of vehicle crash, uninjuredafter falling from a building, riskless by electric shock, unhurt after takingpoison, fine in fast, fire and flood, escape from mining accident, mercy ofthief and etc.

, saying: "On 23rd ofthe 12th lunar month, 2006, I practiced Gong and studied the Fa for awhile after having supper as usual, then I put more wood into the fire andwent to sleep about 9 o'clock in the evening. I didn't know when the firedied out, and I didn't know when I rolled from bed down to the ground...Atabout 9:00 in the next morning, my daughter came to awake me but shecouldn't get a reply, so she broke into. Then I was already got gas poison-ing and became rigid." The doctor's diagnosis was: "He is dead, havingbeen rigid from head to foot, and lost pulse, please go home and preparefor funeral affairs." The whole family couldn't accept the fact, and repeat-edly required the doctor to retest, "the doctor took up the stethoscope tolisten, yet I had no pulse, so he said it was no use, and then gave up res-cuing." "But my son believed that I was a cultivator of Falun Gong so that Iwouldn't die. My son hurriedly ran to the street to buy six hot-water bagsrunning over more than half a street, then he warmed my whole body.Then the doctor said: 'I have never heard hot-water bags can warm up alife died from gas poisoning, there is no precedent.' On December 16, 2007, Minghui released an article titled, which goes: One day in the mid of the

lunar March 2005, at about 12:00 at noon, Jiji, merely at age 1.5, slippedand fell down into the one-odd-meter-deep fish pond when she was play-ing there. At the time her mommy went out to find her, she had alreadybeen drowning for quite a while in the fish pond. When her mommyhauled her onto the bank by hair and hugged her to the grandma's homenot afar, the little girl Jiji was already unconscious, with eyes staring, andfoams of chemical liquid which was just poured into pond were remainingat corners of her mouth, and she were out of breath...In such a danger,

Jiji's grandma reminded of the Master, then she prayed to him in heart:"The Master, please save my granddaughter." Then she brought hergranddaughter Jiji in the room, lying her down on the floor where the fig-ure of the Master Li Hongzhi was placed above, and covering some cloth-ing on her body. It was so miraculous that around 3:50 pm to 4 pm, the lit-tle girl was awakened. Then she was sitting on the ground and saying likean adult: "I'm all right." The grandma told the reason that she was a FalunGong cultivator, whenever granddaughter came she would teach her tosay: "Falun Dafa is good," "truthfulness, compassion and tolerance aregood," though she couldn't speak completely, she spoke out coos andbabbles; when grandma was burning incense sticks and joined her palms,she would follow. Today she's coming back to life is blessed by worshipingthe Master. After being awakened, she could speak the adult's languagelike a grown-up, and it is the Master telling people she is saved by hermouth so that we can rest assured.①


, claiming at about 7 am onSeptember 12, 2004, Li Lianhua (alias), a woman from a village in Wuxuecity , Hubei province , was picking up cotton in the field, when she wasstretch out her hand for picking cotton from a cotton plant bent down onthe ground, her hand was bit wound by a one-odd-meter-long vipercrouching among the cotton plant. After a while, her right hand and thearea to the whole shoulder swelled like a bowl, then the breast alsoswelled. The poison still spread that the skin was gummy and black, andshe was nearly out of breath in a very critical condition. Her family liftedher back home and someone said she would die within one hour. A practitioner remindedher: "The Master said in his lectures that one should seek inside whenmeeting a trouble." Then she realized now it was a wonderful occasion totell the truth and save the people face to face. She talked from her villageand nearby villages to some villages of outside towns, and talked in morethan ten villages in a whole day. "Unexpectedly when I came back homeand studied the Fa in a quiet mind, miracle occurred. She found the tu-midness on her whole body vanished...After a week, she could return thefield to do farm work. , introducing the story of a68-year-old Dafa student in Lingshou county Shijiazhuang city , Hebeiprovince, "She was cooking deep-fry sesame cakes at home, when shehad finished, and was taking away the pan, the handle was loose, the panthen tilted, so that half a pan of oil was pouring on the fire (the villagersuse coal stoves in the north). The flame was jumping up to the roof, shewas so vexed that she lifted up a pot of water and poured on the fire,shouting: 'The Master, help!' After she poured the pot of water, the firedied out."

Then, her son and daughter-in-law came back from the farm field.The oldest son saw his mother's face was black and some skin was lost,insisting on seeing a doctor. She said: "Don't worry, I ask you, is it hot orcool by burnt?" the son said: "Certainly it is hot." "Then you touch my handand face is it cool or hot?" the son touched it was cool so that he didn'tfeel worried. The old woman said: "You cook noodles, I will not care foryou." Then she went into the room, held up to study.

It's time by noon, her face had swelled out of shape, and couldn't seeanything by eyes. She began to practicing dynamic qigong, and discover-ing any leakage in her mind inside. On the third day, her face was terriblypruritic and flowing yellow liquid. In the evening, the liquid stopped flowingand the skin became drying. On the fifth day, she stripped off the wholeblack skin in the face, only small area around rim of the eyes and mouth

remained black. On the seventh day, all black skin shed off, while thewhole face was florid and transparent like a baby's face. On the 14th day,she was basically recovered without any trace of burn, and complexionlooked fresher and nicer.①

She was unexpectedly rejuvenated after being burnt by cultivating dy-namic qigong and seeking self inside.

He was quick-witted and shouting 'FalunDafa is good! Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is the true Fa!' in succes-sion. As soon as he said this, the vehicle miraculously started off."①

On October 25, 2003, Minghui released another article, telling: "A

female Dafa disciple in a village of Liaoning province always actively tellsthe truth and saves people by any means, and she often hand in thescrape-and-screw money to the practicing station to print material, actual-ly she was not rich. The followings were two miraculous stories occurredto her: once her television was broken, and the repairer said the key partwas broken and needed to be exchanged with lots of money. She hesitat-ed, thinking: repairing a television is far less than saving a person, if Ispend money to repair the television, the money for saving people willlessen. So she decided not to repair and donated the saved money to thestation again. A few days later, her husband tried to turn on the television,then found it was good unexpectedly. Another story is the water pump inher home was broken, and it would also cost some money for repair. Shesaid in her mind to the Master: 'The Master, I really have no money!' As aresult, Dafa again shown a miracle and the water pump was repaired au-tomatically."②

On December 14, 2007, Minghui released another article titled, telling, "A female Dafa dis-

ciple has two neighbors whose daughters studied in the same senior highschool, one wore Falun Gong periapt, meditating 'nine-word authenticscriptures' before examination, and she successfully enter a key universityin the south. The other girl doesn't believe Falun Gong. Before taking ex-amination, she suddenly suffered from nasal bleeding, and was diagnosedas 'leukemia.' Now she is seriously ailing."②

This is the typical Falun Gong logic: believing Falun Gong, onecan create a miracle, no matter how absurd it may be. Contrarily , one willcome to a bad end.

Motherwas pushed to the ground by so fierce force, and the dull was rushing to-ward mother, it was so critical! In general condition, once the dull rushesto the person who fell down, it would prick the fallen body by its horn. Myfather was at wit's end, and desperately shook the falling guardrail in orderto attract the dull. But the dull was reaching at my mother! In such a criti-cal condition, the only word my mother recalled was "Falun Dalun AyudaMe (Save me, Falun Dafa)." Then a miracle happened: the dull suddenlystopped at a distance of 10 cm to my mother! In such a case before thedull would never give up an attacking chance, but now it suddenly turnedaround and ran away.①

And he told his wife, "Why do you stare blankly here? Why

Minghui also tells a lot of stories such as "a dead tree blossoms," "a70-year-old madam has her period."


, telling:In a remote village of Beijing, a 75-year-old madam came back to life

last year. Her husband, seeing her true rise again, carefully took care ofher. But her diseases didn't relieve but deteriorated. Tormented by in-creasingly heavy diseases, the old lady looked sallow, difficulty in walk,even under the support of stick. Maintaining her life with a lot of medicine,she lived such a torment life.

One day, a guest dropped by, telling her by meditating "Falun Dafa isgood", "truthfulness, compassion, tolerance are good" every day sincere-ly, she would have good luck. She really kept on meditating these. Gradu-ally, the blood pressure became normal; the pain all over her body re-duced; her face was ruddy, and she had the spirit of talking. Later, herfamily prevented her from practicing Falun Gong, but she firmly replied,"You don't care, and I have made up my mind." After that, the old ladydidn't need a walking stick to walk, more surprisingly, not long ago, shewas rejuvenated with having her period. The family took her to see thedoctor, then the result even shocked the doctors. All is normal, and theold lady said herself "was rejuvenated."②

My father recalled mother had made clear thefuneral affairs, but she couldn't feel assured of me and was unwilling togo, so that she seeked a doctor here and there, and passed through thedisaster. Perhaps we both have the opportunity of practicing Dafa. Todaymy mother obtained the Fa from me. She studied Dafa as soon as I men-tioned it, firstly she learnt 'Falun Zhuang Fa (standing skill),' and thenpracticed every day by herself. Two weeks later, she called me, sayingshe had her period again and asked how she could do. I was scared shewas really the person in the way, so that I told her the Gong we were culti-vating was 'dual cultivation of spiritual nature and bodily life.' The Masteronce said in his : 'Old ladies would have her own period oncemore.'"①

...Since then, I began to meditate "Falun Dafa is good." As a result, a

miracle occurred to me: serious pains in my waist were disappearing aftermy meditating "Falun Dafa is good" for only several days. The pain tor-menting me for nearly 20 years were healed, thus, I couldn't tell how hap-py I was. I was so grateful to the Master who saved me! I still meditated"Falun Dafa is good" everyday, and gradually I strengthened my back,that's so miraculous. I continued to meditate for twice and a half months intotal, unexpectedly I had my period once again, for seven days, of bigamount. My family couldn't understand and urged me to check in hospital.Because in the past such phenomena happened with an old woman is akind of illness which is incurable. I went to Dalian New Century Hospital inorder to make my family feel relaxed. The result of test proved I had nowoman disease. The doctor felt strange but I knew it was the Master helpme clean my body, soon everything would be normal. Now I feel comfort-able, and I don't feel a bit tired, even going up 4 or 5-storey stairs.

I was cured of the incurable disease by meditating Falun Dafa isgood, what a miracle of Dafa!①

These stories are not only absurd but also amok, including those whooppose Dafa and betray Dafa would be suddenly attacked by serious ill-ness, casualty, transformed to dog or pig, tortured in hell, with nine gener-

ations implicated, with heart and guts picked out, with breast and belly cutopen, chopped in pieces, skinned alive, dropped to an oil pan and etc.

At the Canadian Fa Conference on May 19, 2001, Li Hongzhi invent-ed a way to eliminate the Chinese Communist and China's government,that is the collective "sending forth righteous thoughts" (cursing), and it issaid as long as meditating "the Fa rectifies the Cosmos; the Evil is com-pletely eliminated (Fa Zheng Qian Kun, Xie E Quan Mie)," "the Fa recti-fies Heaven and Earth; immediate retribution in this lifetime, (Fa ZhengTian Di, Xian Shi Xian Bao)," then "evils" could be killed and resolved toblood water.

The reason for Li Hongzhi's invention of "sending forth righteousthoughts" curse is: "All the methods employed by the evil political gang ofscoundrels in the Chinese government are the most despicable, the mostevil, and unknown to history 要 they have reached the extreme, theycouldn't possibly be worse...It is bad, it is venomous, and it is evil. And justlike poison, if you want it not to poison people it can't do that 要 that's justhow it is. So in the process of eliminating it don't be lenient at all 要 justclean it out!... If the evil has reached the point of being no longer savable,how to handle it isn't a question of one's personal cultivation要 it is guard-ing the Fa of the cosmos. When necessary one can use different abilitiesof different levels to eliminate it...It's not only you who does the eliminat-ing; if a cultivator can't eliminate it, Gods要 including higher Gods要 alsoneed to take part in eliminating it."

The cursing method taught by Li Hongzhi is: "From now on at grouppractice or when there's another big conference like this one of ours, ourstudents can quiet their minds for five minutes, sitting with their hands inJieyin and thinking about eliminating the bad thoughts, karma, bad no-tions, and external interference in their minds. As you're like this, thinkthat they die, and then they will be eliminated. Five minutes will do. When

we get together for group practice, think about eliminating the evil in theThree Realms, while holding one hand vertically (li-zhang) in front of thechest, and just think with True Thoughts for five minutes要 this should doit."①

Since October 13, 2002, there is higher requirement for the "sendingforth righteous thoughts" cursing. Li Hongzhi said: "Dafa disciples are nowsentient beings' only, sole hope for salvation. So, in order to do Fa-rectifi-cation more effectively, while you clarify the facts you have to take send-ing righteous thoughts very seriously... If the circumstances are specialand you target one evil being or a few evil beings as you send forth righ-teous thoughts, either by yourself or together, then that's something youshould do, and the concentrated power is tremendous. But when you nor-mally send righteous thoughts together on a daily basis you should chasedown the evil on a larger scale. You shouldn't target one or a few evil be-ings each day, each time."

Li Hongzhi further clarified the specific requirements for "sendingforth righteous thoughts": "① You should focus your attention and your ef-fort, your mind has to be absolutely clear and rational, the force of yourthoughts needs to be focused and strong, with an air of supremacy and ofdestroying all evil in the cosmos. ② The disciples who for the time beingaren't able to see other dimensions can focus powerful thoughts in sayingthe word Mie (destroy) after they finish saying the formula(s). The Mie (de-stroy) word needs to be so strong that it's as large as the cosmic body,encompassing everything and leaving out nothing in any dimension...Toreduce the losses, and to save sentient beings, put your Dafa disciples'powerful righteous thoughts to full use! Show your Mighty Virtue!"②

On October 26, 2003, Minghui released a notice titled

, claiming: "Since 2:00 am today, the fourtimes of synchronously sending forth righteous thoughts in the world from

From October 2004 to March 2005, Minghui made specific provisionsfor three times on the essentials and globally synchronous time of sendingforth righteous thoughts, and put forward criticism and correction for someunserious behaviors during the process of cursing.

Minghui claimed: "Since a long time, disciples in some areas in main-land China and part of overseas disciples have not correctly mastered thetime and essentials of sending forth righteous thoughts due to differentreasons; in some regions, some single persons marched to a differentdrummer which has caused disturbance among some disciples."

Therefore, Minghui summarized a set of requirements and essentialsfor sending forth righteous thoughts:

"1. Get down to clearing your mind for 5 minutes, then start to sendforth righteous thoughts for 5 to 10 minutes...concentrate your thoughts toa pure and stable state, so as to employ your abilities to the maximum;

"2. After clearing yourself, from each hour, all Dafa disciples world-wide start to concentrate your thoughts at least 5 minutes each time,thinking: ① Eliminate all evils that destroy Dafa, disintegrate all blackhands, rotten ghosts, clear up the communist evil souls and all evil ele-ments of Chinese communist evil party in another space, all-inclusive andcomplete; ② Can set up one or two concrete objectives simply; ③ Medi-tate the Master's Fa-rectification pithy formula要 'Fa Zheng Qian Kun, XieE Quan Mie' (If necessary, you can also meditate additional 'Fa ZhengTian Di, Xian Shi Xian Bao'; no matter if you speak Chinese when chant-ing the pithy formula, try best to pronounce correctly in Chinese Mandarin;④ After meditating the pithy formula, focus strong mindfulness to say"Mie" (The Chinese word "Mie" shall be as mighty and huge as cosmos,all-inclusive and complete). In stillness concentrate strong mindfulness to

retain the huge "Mie." Pay attention not to sleep, otherwise it is useless nomatter how long you sit;

"3. The pithy formula shall be meditated quietly;"4. When sending forth righteous thoughts, keep your mind absolute

sober and mindfulness strong;"5. The posture and mudra for sending forth righteous thoughts: no

matter walking, eating, going to work, in any environment you can sendforth righteous thoughts, not always in sitting, open and close eyes areboth good, nor you need to pose mudras; however you must focus on itand keep your thoughts concentrated, pure and stable. If you pose mudrawhen sending forth righteous thoughts, do according to the Master's re-quirement, with single-hand standing palm or lotus mudra."①

Minghui also provides: "The time worldwide synchronously sendingforth righteous thoughts: four on-the-hour every day: 6 am, 12 am, 6 pm,12 pm. And 5 am, 6 am, 7am, on every Sunday in Beijing time."②

On July 1, 2006, Minghui released, once again stressing: "The worldwide

4 times of synchronously sending forth righteous thoughts by Dafa disci-ples everyday remain the same, unless the Editor's Department sendingan official notice."

In 1995, Li Hongzhi claimed to the followers: Do you know the personSi Manan in Beijing? Si Manan has condemned names of many Masters,but he dares not scold me. Why? Because I have set a Falun (Wheel ofLaw) in his body far away, but this Falun is whirled in reverse. In this year,he will be blind of both eyes and cut off two legs by vehicle in the nextyear...③

Mr. Sun, an officer of Gaolitun village of Fushun city , Liaoningprovince, during his position as Secretary of the village Committee of theCPC from 2000 to 2004, participated in persecuting Dafa disciples and fi-nally he suffered from cancer and died on the day of Dragon Boat Festi-val, 2008.

Mr. Liu, secretary of Liuzhuang village of Baoding city , Hebeiprovince, instigated in the dark to persecute Dafa disciples. In the winterof 2007, Liu slipped up and hurt his leg joint, and his another leg waswrecked by car accident in the spring of 2008.

Mr. Shao, a police inspector of Weifang city, Shandong province, dur-ing his position in 2007, arrested Yu Hande, Wang Gangxiu, and Dafa dis-ciples with the surname Li. Shao affected liver cancer soon.

On August 2, 2008, Minghui released an article titled

and several leaders of Xinlitun town Junior Middle School, Heishan countyof Liaoning province organized students to collect Falun Gong VCDs orleaflets inserted in the doors of houses, and after doing this, they also or-ganized students to watch the VCDs exposing and criticizing Falun Gong.In the end, an evil fruit came very soon: President Wang's daughter fell toaccess to the key school by just one score, so that she had to go at herown expenses; Mr. Yang caught a vehicle accident on the way back homefrom a meeting in another city, whose brains were dashed out, teeth in-serted in his nose, and was killed at the scene. Later Mathematics Teach-er Yang Guangyu's wife suddenly suffered from eyes necrotic, and gotblind of both eyes. Another Dean Yang of Students Affairs Office sufferedfrom concusses of brain and other people all suffered injuries to differentdegrees.①

Minghui releases such so-called "miracles" about "suffering badfruits" nearly everyday.

dle-school students in northeastern China, two were applied for "threequitting" by parents, as a result they got good marks, one took the No. 3of the city, another took in the 50s of the city with full mark of mathemat-ics; while the other two children who didn't apply for "quitting" from theCCP were both failed in the examination.①

in the village, one has good "thoughts," thinking "Falun Gong is good," andthe wife was miraculously cured of breast cancer; the other couple didn'tbelieve in Falun Gong, and they have bad thoughts in their minds onFalun Gong, the husband fell to the ditch and died when he was doingfarm work in his own farm field.②

On January 17, 2008, Minghui released an ar-ticle titled , linking several irrelevant sto-ries together: telling the stories of three people in Dongpo district, MeishanMountain of Sichuan province, two obtained blessed fruits by "three quit-ting" after knowing the truth that one escaped from industrial accident,and other laid-off woman found a new job; while the third person scoldedFalun Gong members handing out leaflet of Falun Gong truth③ to him anddiscarded the leaflet into ditch, a few days later, he hit other people by rid-ing motorcycle and he was injured too.④

On June 3, 2007, Minghui released another article titled, telling the stories of two government civil ser-

vants, the young named Sun, driving a luxury car on expressway at a

speed of 160 km/hr, collided with a truck by overtaking. The car was bro-ken with engine squashing into the cab and, as he "cherished the periaptgifted by some Dafa disciples" and his whole family had quitted from theevil CCP, Mr. Sun was just torn a piece of skin on his head, and withoutmore bodily injury. While another named Wang, because he "was involvedin persecuting Falun Gong," when he was driving an old motorcycle on thecountryside road, he crashed into a truck and died on the scene.①

Chapter 2: Why Falun Gong Crazy aboutMaking up "Miracles"

Some outstanding "features" can be combed out by analyzing various"miracles" of Falun Gong:

Overlooking the "magic" stories of Falun Gong made up on Minghui,an obvious feature is that they did not depart from the pattern of LiHongzhi's fabricating "miracles," all of which were republications of "mira-cles" told by Li Hongzhi in and the "lectures," and Li Hongzhiis the initiator of "miracles," his followers just copy his. Here are some ex-amples:

Lecture Ⅲ : Another case happened in Beijing. In winterit gets dark earlier and people go to bed a bit earlier. The streets wereempty and all was quiet. One of our students was rushing home on a bike.Only a jeep was moving along ahead of him. It was moving along steadilywhen all of a sudden it braked. The student wasn't paying attention andkept on peddling ahead with his head down. But the jeep suddenly startedto back up then, and it was backing up fast, mighty fast. Those two forcesworked together to take away his life. Right when they were about to col-lide, a force suddenly pulled his bike back more than half a yard, and thejeep instantly stopped against the wheel of his bike. Maybe the jeep's driv-er realized someone was behind him. The student wasn't scared when

that happened. Nobody who runs into this type of thing gets scared, al-though they might get scared when they think back about it. The first thinghe thought was, "Phew! Who pulled me back? I have to thank him." Heturned around to say thank you, only to find the street quiet, without a per-son in sight. Then it hit him, "It was actually Teacher protecting me!"①

On February 15, 2008, Minghui released an article titled: One

day in April 2007, a coach driver who drove the coach full of passengerswas passing a fork road and ready about to turn right. Suddenly a motor-cycle was flying toward from the right front...in a moment an accidentwould happen. In such an occasion hung by a thread, he acted somehowvery sober and agilely, and spontaneously turned the steering-wheelsharply to the left, concurrently it broke harshly, and the head of coachabruptly stopped one meter ahead of the motorcycle, almost at the sametime, the motorcycle magically stopped too...He would not flee from theaccident without the protection of Falun Dafa and the Master, otherwise,the result would be dreadful.②

Lecture Ⅲ : When I was giving a class in Beijing, therewas a student who'd crossed the street on her bike. As she was goingaround a turn, a luxury sedan hit this student of ours at that sharp turn.The student was a woman in her fifties. That car hit her with a bang, and itwas a real whopper. People heard a big "Thud!" as her head hit the car,and her head hit the top of the car squarely. When that happened the stu-dent's feet were still straddling the bike. Her head was hit but she didn'tfeel any pain. Not only didn't she feel any pain, but there wasn't any bleed-ing, either 要 not even swelling. But the driver was scared stiff. He jumpedout of the car and hurried to ask her, "Are you hurt? How about we go tothe hospital?" She replied that she was fine. Of course, that student of

ours had high character and didn't want to bring the driver trouble. Shesaid she was alright, but there was a big dent left in the car.①

On January 25, 2008, Minghui released an article titled:

On the 2nd ring highway in Shenyang, a Suzuki car that was speeding upto run a red light was directly knocking to my leg while I was riding a bicy-cle. The windshield of the car was crashed to pieces after violentlyknocked to my body, and the bicycle I rode was thrown off far, and then Iheard a sound "Ping," feeling my body was falling to the ground weight-lessly...The car stopped more than one meter to me. The driver wasscared...he continuously asked to send me to the hospital to examine if Iwas injured. I said "Never mind, I am well and the bicycle can work asusual. Don't worry..."②

The only difference of the two articles is one bumped the car with adent and the other crashed the windshield to pieces.

Lecture Ⅲ : There was also something that happened inChangchun. A building was being built near a student's home. Nowadays,buildings are built so high, and the scaffolding is made up of steel rodsthat are two inches thick and four yards long. The student was walking nottoo far from home when a steel rod dropped from that tall building, and itwas coming straight down toward his head. Everyone on the street waspetrified. But he just said, "Who patted me?" He thought that someonehad patted him on the head. Then, he turned and saw that a big LawWheel was there rotating over his head. The steel rod had slid down alongthe side of his head and stuck into the ground, sticking up. If it really hadhit somebody, think about it, it was so heavy it would have gone all theway through his body, like a skewer through marshmallows. It was that

On July 29, 2005, Minghui released an article titled, mentioning: In the autumn of

last year, Xiaoling's husband was working at the worksite. Suddenly abrick flew down from the roof toward his head, the people around himwere stunned, but he was unaware. However, the brick flew away before ittouching his head, and crashed to the ground to pieces, but he was safeand sound.②

On August 6, 2005, Minghui released another article titled, claiming: I

was a Dafa disciple in Zhengzhou, Henan province ...My 90-year-oldgrandma was tamped to the ground on her back by a bundle of steel barwhen closing the door. The bundle of steel bar consist of 12 rods of 7cmthick, more than 2m long, and 4 rods of 1cm thick and more than 1m long,totally 16 in a bundle...The daughter-in-law (the author) asked her: "Mam,how about you, have you been hurt?" But grandma said: "I'm fine."... "Ihave practiced Falun Dafa for 6 years, and my mother-in-low always un-derstood me and supported me, who often helped me protect the Dafabooks. Mother's good thoughts to Dafa brought her the blessed reward, sothat she could turn a risk into good safety in danger. It was the mercifulMaster who protected her."③

Lecture Ⅰ : There's nothing far-fetched about it. A lot ofthe veteran students here in the audience know this. Also, older womenare likely to get their period back, because a practice that cultivates bothyour nature and longevity needs to have the qi of essence and blood tocultivate longevity. They'll get their period, but it won't be heavy. They'llhave just a little bit at this stage, only the amount that's needed. That's an-

On November 6,2002, Minghui released an article titled

, saying: I was born in a declining, poor literary family, now I'm upto seventy...My mommy is already 91 years old, who is an old Dafa disci-ple. In 1996, my mother mailed, two books andto me...I read it through eagerly...I've understood the mystery of cosmosand truth of life, and I'm also enlightened so that I have a right faith, andwhat I send forth are righteous thoughts. The Master said: "The righteousthoughts of Dafa disciple are mighty." My body and heart have biggerchanges. I have gotten my period back after many years of menopausedue to old age.②

Most "miracles" put on Minghui haven't true names. They are justGrandma Wang, Elder Uncle Li and the like. For example, on January 11,2008, Minghui released two similar articles, one titled

,③ the other said. ④ The

former "I am seventy-eight, and I live in Naxi district, Luzhou city," it is thedramatis personae of the "miracle"; the latter one said "there is a Familynamed Xie in a village in the northeast region, and Old Lady Xie is morethan seventy now"...The"Old Lady Xie" is the "true person" of the "miracle."

, themain character's information is unclear. By sending forth righteousthoughts and meditating scriptures of Falun Gong, the end-stage uremiapatient recovered, which created a miracle in the history of medicine, and

also a Guinness World Record. Falun Gong that attaches most impor-tance to propagate the mighty of Dafa should never give up such a greatopportunity. They should report to the World Health Organization, and in-vite American experts for verification. On Minghui, the patient "Xiao W"whose name, address, the detailed information of his mommy, the cityand hospital of the typical case are all unclear, only saying "it happened ina hospital in a city."

In the "miracle" stories of Falun Gong, it is impossible for the readersto learn about the true address of the story. Minghui released an articletitled ,①which writes: "My family livein a small town in Liaoning province, and mydaughter is twenty this year."Liaoning province covers an area of more than 150,000 sq.km.. Even inShenyang city, if you don't tell which street and the number, no one knowswho's who. "Small towns," how many small towns are there in Liaoning?You will not know without looking up relevant materials. The article

and another ② areexactly the same, in the former "I am a farmer from Shenzhou city, Hebeiprovince, and I suffered from arthralgia due to damp when I worked out ofhome last year" is the address, if you want to verify "I" in "farmers fromShenzhou city, Hebei province," it is nothing short of looking for a needlein a haystack. And, in the latter "a fellow cultivator whose neighbor livedupstairs on the 7th floor had a 5-year-old kid...the kid jumped off the build-ing from upstairs to the ground and crashed to a deformed head with justa breath left. The Dafa disciple living on the 2nd floor heard of it, ran downthe stairs and lifted the kid, telling the kid's grandma to sincerely meditat-ing 'Falun Dafa is good,' and telling the carotic kid to meditating 'FalunDafa is good'...He sent the kid to the hospital, and the child's parents also

reached. The Dafa disciple told the kid's parents to meditate sincerely'Falun Dafa is good.' The kid was rescued back to life..." It is more baf-fling, it only said in the "building," but where the building is is a riddle, youcan't think of it, and let alone verify.

On July 24, 2008, Minghui released an article titled,① the general content of which is 59-year-old Zhang

Jianfang (alias) took examination for chest stuffiness at the county hospi-tal and was diagnosed as lung cancer. Later she "went to the provincialhospital for interventional treatment, and the result was quite good," butafter she went out of the hospital, the cancer cell grew, her hair came off,she couldn't eat anything and suffered from hydrothorax. The hospital is-sued an ultimatum saying "it is incurable." The children were ready to pre-pare funeral affairs as the doctor told. Later, with the help of Falun Gongmember, the patient sincerely meditated "Falun Dafa is good, Truthful-ness, compassion tolerance are good" every day. From then on, she be-came spiritually better and better. Now she could "move freely" and "havea soaring appetite." The article has more than 1,200 Chinese characters,figures, time and hospitals were as if complete, the story happened inseveral months, and the patient's children were busy with it giving an ap-parently "true" picture.

Actually, a piece of news consists of what, when, who, where, why,how, all of which shall be objectively and truly recorded. Although the said"miracles" are deceptive to a certain degree, it can't stand inference andquestioning: they have rough time instead of specific time, have "somehospital" instead of specific hospital's name, have alias instead of truename, have some village in Hebei instead of detailed address,self-claimed examination in hospital without a medical certificate, and soon. That is to say, they didn't afford any clue or basis for other people's in-

vestigation and verification. However, as to Falun Gong addicts, they thinkthese "miracles" happened among "fellow practitioners" during their prac-ticing course. Along with the spiritual control of Li Hongzhi, they thinkthese so-called "miracles" are all true, and they don't know they shalldoubt at all, but accept it and follow it blindly.

All the "miracles" made up by Li Hongzhi and Minghui can't stand upto close scrutiny and verification. Minghui used to strenuously report thedrowning "miracle," someone is rescued after falling down into a lake(pond), someone is magically saved from sea, someone remains safe andsound after falling down to water by overturn of vehicle, and so on. Ana-lyzed from a scientific angle, the key factor to successful rescue of thedrowning people lies in existence of external help: as to a non-swimmer,unlucky falling down into water is very dangerous, and the key of rescuelies in timely shouting for help and discovered by people on the bank assoon as possible, if there is no external help, the possibility of survival ofthe drowned is zero. Even if there is some one to help, that if the drownedcan be successfully saved also depends on the following points: firstly, thefalling time, longer being drowned, less the possibility of survival, thedrowned who has been staying more than 15 minutes under water canhardly be survived; secondly, if the person on the bank can swim, if theyhave saving experience; thirdly, if the saver is equipped with tools for res-cuing, such as life buoy, long strap, towel and etc.; fourthly, after beinghauled to the bank, some one must has the medical aiding knowledge ofartificial respiration. Without the aforesaid key points, it is useless even ifyou meditate ten thousand times of "Falun Dafa is good," and "Truthful-ness, compassion, tolerance are good."

What's more important, according to expert's presentation, there aretwo cases of non-swimmer's drowning: the first is of the minority of cases

that the drowning person slid from shallow water to deep water, then, thedrowning person has a short course of reaction to utter a cry for help, andmake a motion for help to attract the attention of people on the bank. Thesecond is the majority that sudden drowning people whose first reaction isin a blue funk with blank mind and even loses the language function ofcrying for "help," they can only struggle instinctively, and grasp anythingthey can touch madly, how can they have a time to send forth righteousthoughts? The drowning "miracles" put on Minghui are almost kids withunmatured mind, so that it is impossible for them to think the Master, saveme, "Falun Dafa is good" such words. It is clear that the precondition ofsuch miracles occurrence doesn't exist, since the precondition is false,miracles can logically be judged as false things.

On July 24, 2008, Minghui released an article titled,

,① claiming: "I have a sister-in-law, one day, shehad stomachache so painful as to roll about on bed, the family hurriedlysent her to hospital. After taking examination and testing, she was diag-nosed suffering from kidney stone and must be hospitalized...Suddenlyshe recalled to meditate 'Falun Dafa is good', then she endured the painto meditate it. Then the miracle happened, the pain disappeared. After in-fused a dropping bottle, she said to the doctor that she was recovered andwould leave hospital...Since then, she has not fallen ill for a long time andthe whole family witnessed the miracle of Dafa."

"Miracle" stories have three problems: ① Since the patient is a FalunGong addict, why did she meditate "Falun Dafa is good" before "havingstomachache so painful as to roll about on bed"? ② Before going to hos-pital, didn't the patient never meditate "Falun Dafa is good"? Moreover, af-ter falling ill, why did she cure herself by meditating "Falun Dafa is good"instead of having an intravenous drop, then the miracle finally appeared?③ After leaving hospital, the patient didn't reexamine to any hospital, howcan one say the patient's sickness was healed by meditating "Falun Dafa

Good"? What's more, as "a Dafa disciple," she should not get the kidneystone according to Falun Gong's theory. From this case we can see "mira-cles" cannot stand up to close scrutiny and questioning. "Miracles" spillthe beans by a slight poke of pen.

However, as to so much obsessed "Dafa disciples," they will not thinkwhat on earth the control or recovery of illness should owe to medicine orthe "miracle" by meditating "Falun Dafa is good"? They wouldn't or darednot to doubt the falsity of the "magic" story. Although they are so "painfulas to roll about" at home, they cannot help but meditating "Falun Dafa isgood" to transfer the pain. Some would use "to pass a test," "to eliminatekarma," "to go up to a high level" to console themselves. The makers of"miracles" confused the boundary between "drug effect" and "Gong effect"purposefully. Therefore, among the Falun Gong addicts, the phenomenaof refusal to take medicine to cure illness are general, which would lead todelay of therapy, and some even lost their life.

Other "miracles" likewise cannot stand up to scientific and practicalexamination.

Some people point out that the time of Falun Gong "miracle" is ab-stract, which can not be identified; the place is extensive, which cannot belocated; the people's appellation is popularized, which cannot be verified;the affair is superstitious and catching at shadows; the subject is dull andlack of freshness; the title advocates karma, which is frightening; the endis stereotyped, either by showing loyalty to Li Hongzhi and Falun Gong, orby calling on quitting from the Party or League.

Minghui specially set up a column about "human mind and causality,"which put up some "miracles" every day. In eye of normal people, theseFalun Gong "miracles" are so absurd and funny, but why Falun Gong is soglad and spares no effort to make up them?

We should say that the intention of Li Hongzhi's making up "miracles"is very clear, and it intends to entice more people to believe in Falun Gongby these absurd "stories," to strengthen the worship to the "Hierarch" by"miracle" stories, and to control Falun Gong practitioners spiritually.

This spiritual control can be analyzed in two aspects.Firstly, controlling Falun Gong addicts by repeatedly spiritual "entice-

ment" and psychological hint. Falun Gong claims that Li Hongzhi hasgreat theurgy including telekinesis, freeze, thinking control and invisiblesupernatural power. These words have been repeatedly propagated ex-clusively at different Fa conferences and Falun Gong media, and reallymade numerous addicts pay homage to him, and the addicts may reflect itis the Master's playing a role for whatever abnormal or unexplainable phe-nomena in life.

Many practitioners are religionized to Li Hongzhi's personal narrationof "miracles," regarding Li Hongzhi as the benchmark of "Falun Dafa"highest level, imagining some day they themselves can also go up to Li's"level." Li Hongzhi repeated that one could be cured of all kinds of illness,prolong life, flee from disaster and consummate without "taking an injec-tion or medicine" but through practicing Falun Gong. Moreover, the practi-tioners are higher than common people, through cultivating Falun Gong,one can "break through traditional science," "get super power," "reach su-pernatural state." These words draw a strong "attraction" to Falun Gongpractitioners, once they have similar experience or feeling, they wouldhave association or self-suggestion spontaneously, thinking they haveachieved the effect said by the Master such as of healing, longevity andavoiding disaster, and have reached the "superhuman" state.

In addition, Li Hongzhi requires "Dafa disciples" to read largeamounts of his "scriptures" every day, and mechanically, repeatedly medi-tate, when they enter the still state by practicing Gong, these contents willemerge and become a kind of hint or delusion, and is easily to make the

practitioners enter hypnotism. For example, Li Hongzhi's saying of "openthe third eye," "many Dafa disciples have seen some truth in future, but itis not false," which easily induce many addicts to incur hallucinations,delusions and other psychotic symptoms.

Secondly, making the addicts believe the occurrence of "miracle" isspecific embodiment of "going up to a higher level" by practicing. The"miracles" put on Minghui are mainly made and posted by Falun Gongmembers in different regions. Being enchanted by Li Hongzhi, Falun Gongpractitioners are controlled spiritually increasingly to follow blindly, believ-ing that they are at higher "level" than common people, and believing theoccurrence of "miracle" specific embodiment of "going up" by practicing.As to the "miracles" of other people, some addicts maybe remain suspi-cious, but Li Hongzhi soon let them to find problem inside that the "mira-cle" is not falling on them because they "are not elevated in study or profi-cient in practice." Furthermore, as long as they access Minghui to ex-change with addicts, what they see and hear are almost "miracles" occur-rence by sincerely meditating of Falun Dafa is good, "repeat a lie enoughtimes and it will be believed," the addicts cannot help but believe. Somemay make up a "miracle" with a "show-off" mentality to show their hardpracticing and their piety to "the Master."

Some "miracles" themselves are daydreams made by practitioner,and moreover, some have already suffered from psychotic symptoms ofpsychoauditory and visual hallucination.

On February 24, 2008, Minghui released an article titled① claiming: One day in 2003, I took plane to an adjacent city on

business. On the night before, I had a dream taking a plane with a lot ofpeople, and the plane was breaking down and falling. Then two dragonsflied down, tangled my body and rescued me up, they asked me: "Shallwe just save you?" I said: "Save all people in the plane, please." They flewdown at once, tangled the entire plane and lifted it up stably. Then I waswakening up. When I was taking the plane the next day, an arc appeared

in the sky, other passengers didn't respond at all and all were in trance...till the plane landed...Today this plane would have an accident, while aDafa disciple on the plane sent forth thoughts the night before to save thepeople in the plane. The protagonist of the story was in another world andregarded a dream as reality.

On March 5, 2008, Minghui released an article titled① , the writer cracked up he has

reached the realm of "the third eye open," so that he could see "clouds ofdeities and celestial troops, the Master was sitting on the central lotusthrone." Obviously it is auditory and visual hallucinations.

Minghui is very grateful to get these articles and would like to releasethem all, then the "miracles" are spreading around. These "miracles" maybe ridiculous to normal people, but to addicts, they are not funny at all.Because they are surrounded by a "magical" logic: Other people produce"miracles" because they have done according to the Master and havegone up to a highter level, you fail because your Gong is not enough oryou are not loyal to "the Master" so that you shall keep on doing accordingto Falun Gong's words. It just gets into Li Hongzhi's trap and satisfies hisintention.

As to "brain-washed" Falun Gong practitioners, they are awed andmade a fetish of Li Hongzhi, and made an imperial edict of the words inMinghui. Because Li Hongzhi has apotheosized himself as the omnipotent"Lord Buddha in universe," stressing "Major issues depend on the attitudeof Minghui." The Falun Gong addicts are convinced of the "miracle" sto-ries released by Minghui, some even imitate them. of Falun Gong, its existing space is increasingly shrinking worldwide. Moreand more Falun Gong practitioners have awakened and gotten rid of thespiritual control of Li Hongzhi. In order to develop a stable Falun Gongteam, they cannot help but strengthen the report about "miracles ," be-cause the cheapest and easiest measure to bind the Falun Gong practi-tioners is to satisfy their psychological need, let them continue to live in adream in pursuit of "Consummation" and reaching "Buddha, Dao, andGod."

Of course, the intention of Li Hongzhi and Minghui is obviously shownin the "miracles" that are to let the addicts accept and practice the FalunGong doctrines without scruple, and serve Falun Gong wholeheartedly.

On January 2, 2008, Minghui released an article titled① , a self-proclaimed "mainland postgradu-

ate" saying: "During the grade three in senior high school, I was busy withstudy, but I was worried I would not see classmates any more in futureand would not save them, therefore I was devoted to tell the truth. I spenta lot of time and energy...It's time to check the marks of university en-trance examination, I opened and gazed at the Master, think-ing: The Master, can I get good marks? It turned out my marks were un-expectedly good, exceeding the provincial admission line to key universi-ties!...Said and done, it is an issue if one can hold responsible for one'sown practice, if one can treat practice as No.1 in life, and if one can giveup the basic attachment." Because of the "miracle" that Falun Gonghelped him realize his university dream, he would treat the issue of prac-ticing Falun Gong as No. 1 in life.

The "miracles" are always ended by such expressions: "In witness ofthe miracle of Dafa, so as to believe in the Teacher and the Fa, believe inthe Master and believe in Dafa."② "I will advance bravely and vigorously,do three things right in order to leave no regret in the end of practice, walkalong the road arranged by the Master, and fulfill the prehistoric great

This is another intention of Falun Gong's making up "miracles": Theyattempt to attract the "eyeball," attract "attention," and attract the ignorantpeople by stories that are absurd but cater to specific group's taste so asto expand and enlarge their organization. The targets include the peoplewho are skeptical, low cultured, and superstitious, who are of mental orphysical diseases and dissatisfied with the society, who are around theFalun Gong cultivators, and very few people who are unaware of the truthof Falun Gong.

Having read the last paragraph of some "miracle stories" released onMinghui in August 2008, you will understand the intention of their makingup such stories.

1.: "In this accident, I personally witnessed the miracle of 'Falun Dafa,'

I sincerely utter again heartily: 'Falun Dafa is good!'"2. : "I have

escaped from the disaster under the protection from Master Li Hongzhi!Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness, compassion and tolerance are good!People shall admire the miracle of Dafa together!"

3. : "I was safe and sound,and I know the Master protected me."②

4.: "The villagers have all heard of the miracle of Dafa, and

many people also know 'Falun Dafa is Good, and truthfulness, compas-sion, tolerance is good'."

5. S: "I've written out to tell all beings and all people, whatever

disasters you meet, big or small, don't forget to sincerely meditate 'truth-fulness, compassion, tolerance are good! Falun Dafa is Good!' You mustbelieve 'three quittings' can save your life."①

6. : "I'll go to my mommy'shome tonight and let my parents quit (Editor Note: Quit the CCP and itsaffiliated organizations). I also want to practice Falun Gong, and you teachme. My daddy, a good man, is ill, and I will advise him to practice, too."②

Minghui has released "magic" stories one after another, with more"novelty" in content, trying to use the logic that a lie repeated a thousandof times would become the truth to cheat the ignorant people and trans-form them into Falun Gong cultivators. In fact, these "miracles" are likedrug and may cause addiction by a toke. This can explain although mostpeople have known "miracles" are false, Falun Gong is still glad to do itrepeatedly.

The contents reflected in "miracles" can be induced to: Believe in"Falun Dafa," which can protect safety, remove disaster, and get benefits,while disbelieve and object, which may cause evil results. This is the com-mon expectation of all "Dafa disciples." The first intention for "Dafa disci-ples" cultivating Falun Gong is to "remove illness build up one's body andobtain a blessed result," and to "become a Buddha, god and get Consum-mation" is their second intention.

Though Li Hongzhi has offered a lot of empty promises such as "ill-ness removal and body building," "supernatural power" and "Consumma-tion" in and other his "scriptures," none has realized. In antic-ipation of as long as more than ten years, the Dafa disciples have quitevacant mind, and nervous. Especially since July 22, 1999, China's govern-ment has banned Falun Gong lawfully, the mainland Dafa disciples feel

more nervous. They are badly looking forward to the emergence of "mira-cle," to make them completely "extricated," and even partial "extrication" isok. Therefore, when the "miracles" showed up on Minghui, the obsessedDafa disciples thought they had grasped a straw and obtained great con-sole and satisfaction mentally. Based on it, on one hand, the Dafa disci-ples like to read "miracles," and on the other hand, the Falun Gong medialike to make up "miracles." Therefore Minghui likes to cheat, and the Dafadisciples are willing to be cheated.

As to people and organization in disapproval of Falun Gong, FalunGong organizations led by Li Hongzhi regard them as "evil," and continueto attack, curse and menace them. The "miracles" from Minghuit oftenmake the affairs an appalling result: People who disbelieve in Falun Gong,who don't shout "Falun Dafa is good, truthfulness, compassion, toleranceare good," who don't wear a periapt, would get karma, such as low marksof examination, vehicle accidents, illness, drowning, lost of job; if you un-doubtedly fight against Falun Gong, the result would be more miserable,basically you would pay a cost of life. In fact, it is a kind of bare threat andintimidation, which is nothing but to make the disbeliever of Falun Gongbecome obedient, and make the objector not become an enemy of FalunGong.

In a word, Li Hongzhi and his Minghui have made up a lengthy list of"miracles ," aiming to deadly grasp the residual disciples by these "mira-cles," develop "Dafa disciples" in a specific group, so as to maintain a rel-atively stable team of followers. On the other hand, the Falun Gong ad-dicts also need to use their own special thoughts and words to rely on,recognize, and encourage each other in form of exchanging of "miracles."

Although Falun Gong has made up numerous "miracles", some factsare unneglectable: firstly, Falun Gong has been outlawed by China's gov-ernment, and the core backbones Li Chang, Ji Liewu, Wang Zhiwen have

been imposed criminal penalties, Li Hongzhi has been wanted for arrestby Chinese police so that up to now he doesn't dare to walk half a step onChina's territory. Secondly, many overseas Falun Gong core membershave died from some illness. Li Guodong, senior official of American "NewTang Dynasty Television", died from liver cancer in March 2006 in NewYork. Feng Lili, lionized by Falun Gong as "Chief Scientist," died frompancreatic cancer on June 22, 2006 in Houston, USA. Liu Jinan, FalunGong known member in North America, fell and died on construction siteof Falun Gong Base on May 3, 2008 in Hope Hill, New Jersey, USA.

From the above-mentioned fantasticated "miracles," we can seeFalun Gong members have suffered complete or partial mental disordersunder the spiritual control of Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong through"studying the Fa" and "cultivating Gong." In these false stories that areincredible to common people, auditory and visual hallucinations, illusions,phrenitis, conscious disturbance, cognitive impairment, affective disorder,feeling of passivity, feeling of being revealed...almost including all typicalsymptoms of mental disorders.

From these absurd "miracles" maybe people can see such a specialgroup. The "humanity" they possessed before is completely "formatted"by Falun Gong. The standards of true or false, right or wrong, good or evil,beautiful or ugly, honorable or disgraceful, love or hate are completelyupside-down. They have lost the basic perception, thinking skills andjudgement, can only use Falun Gong doctrines to explain any existencesand causalities in the world. Their own words and deeds and decisionscan only be done or rejected according to Li Hongzhi's requirements.Their goal of life has completely simplified to "Consummation," that is todepart from the earth and become a "Buddha, Dao and God" in aparadise. In order to consummate, they have to study and cultivate FalunGong continuously, such as telling the "truth" like "miracles", "sendingforth righteous thoughts" to curse those people and organizations who areopposed to Falun Gong; they have to give up "fame, interest, andemotion" such as normal people's affections and desires, and get rid ofthe last remaining "human smell," and turn into otherworldly "Dafadisciples." This is the course that Falun Gong cultivators are becomingincurable gradually, as well as a course turn flesh and blood into woodand stones.
