We also hold weekly meetings to discuss and debate issues surrounding feminism. African & Caribbean Society (ACS) aims to enrich awareness of the different cultures of African and Caribbean nations. We provide a wide range of opportunities for our members to take part in engaging and enjoyable activities. We want to educate and empower our members through our various cultural and social events. LGBT+ Society LGBT+ society aim to maintain a strong LGBT+ Community and to be a fun and friendly support network for both members and non-members of the Society. We also focus on the welfare of our members, and look to engage in awareness and visibility campaigns and outreach work, both on and off campus. Disabled Students Collective We’re here to make the lives of disabled students better at Royal Holloway and anyone who self-identifies as disabled can join us - there is no specific criteria and you do NOT have to ‘prove’ that you're disabled. By signing up you can come to our events throughout the year, we have lots of fun things planned! WISDOM (Women in Information Security Domain Or Mathematics) We are a group of postgraduate students and staff looking to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment within the Information Security and Mathematics departments. We run regular events welcome to all, including seated yoga, discussion groups and film evenings (showcasing gender diversity). Women of Colour Collective The Women of Colour Collective is a community space and we aim to address the impact of race, gender, sexuality, class and other factors on the lives of Femmes of colour across campus. We also have a mission to end discrimination through education, as well as enhance the awareness of mental health issues on campus and provide a safe space where we can offer help, advice and support.
